Went here for an oil change and couple days later found out the car had no oil. also charged me almost $70 dollars for an oil change and state inspection.. I BROUGHT MY OWN OIL AND FILTER (i was in a hurry to get it changed but i blame myself for choosing this spot..) but get this the REASON IT HAD NO OIL WAS BECAUSE THEY DID NOTT TIGHTEN THE FILTERR!!! Horrible place. The manager is extremely aggressive. When asked about the their services he mentioned that there is a fee just to be seen and when I told him, "Id like to see my options other places," he refused to allow my car to leave stating, "if it's already here, you have to pay." I was referred here by a friend, and I will now refer everyone I know to go here. I have never received this level of caring customer service from any other business. To say that Raul went above and beyond is an understatement. I originally took my car into the dealership for a 4WD issue. They said the part was on a 6 month back order and the safest option was to trade it in before it led to a transmission issue. I wanted to get a second opinion and my friend told me to take it to Mayco. I explained my situation to Raul and he immediately spent the next 30 mins calling every shop he knew before eventually finding me a replacement part. They had the repair done by the next afternoon and Raul even stayed 15 mins late so I could make it over there and pick it up! I will be taking my car to Mayco for everything from now on. read more

Place just ripped me off with a smile. Charged me for a vehicle inspection...claimed I need to drive my car more because a sensor wasn't working. Wrong! Battery was just low. I asked them how I could fix the issue, they just hung up on me! Totally disrespectful and horrible customer service. Stay away. Do not recommend. After getting an oil change there my car had an oil leak. I called and went in on a Saturday to have it looked at. The mechanic said he couldn't find a leak and in a separate conversation the manager told me it was fixed. When I questioned the discrepancy the manager told me the mechanic could only change oil and didn't know what he was talking about. I took my car home and the oil continued to drip. I took the car back to Mayco on Monday and was told by the other manager that I had a leak in three parts and all would need to be replaced at an estimated cost of $475. It seemed very strange to me that suddenly I had all these places leaking so I took it to another mechanic and they quickly diagnosed the issued and replaced one part for $117 and the leak was fixed. Needless to say I will never go to Mayco again. The managers at Mayco were very dishonest. read more

Our car was taken in for a routine state inspection. The technician drove the car to the service bay aggressively/way too quickly and slammed on the brakes before pulling in. They said this was to "test the brakes" as part of the inspection. This is not how a state inspection is done. Why would the state of Texas rely on a technician to slam on the brakes during an official inspection? And why would you offer that as an excuse? A simple brake wear indicator ($10 from Walmart) can tell how much of the brake pad is left. After the abuse of our car, I will never be back. Other places offer drive through inspections that don't require you to leave your car or for technicians to drive your car. read more

I got my Catalytic converter stolen and when I called the shop. Mr. Raul was quick to respond. I got an estimate quote through the phone and even have the car stay at their shop overnight. They also quickly get to fixing my car right when they open shop the next morning. The car was running smoothly after that thanks to these guys. my friend brought his car here to get it fixed because his car was making this rattling sound and he specifically brought it in to fix the issue that was causing this sound and when he picked his vehicle up, it continued to make that sound. He took it back due to it still having that sound and they simply told him that they fixed a different part and that the sound was a different issue to fix... he initially and specifically asked them to fix the sound issue that was going on, so there is no reason why you fixed a "different" part when it was brought in due to the sound it was making. He paid 1k for them to not even fix the issue he brought it in the first place. Very unprofessional and lack of ethic of this mechanic to not have fixed the issue it was brought in for. 0/10 DONT recommend! Unless you want to pay for something you didn't bring it in for. Called in for a wheel alignment. Was quoted 60-70. Took my car in and afterwards was told that a FULL front wheel alignment was going to cost me $120. This would include toe, camber, caster. I knew this was a rip-off especially considering it was non warranty, however, I needed to get it done asap as I was on my way out of town and didn't want to delay further into the evening. For comparison, you can get a lifetime alignment package at Firestone (everything included) for about 150. This means you can take it in and get it realigned with other perks. Mayco said that if I came in the next day with misalignment, it would be another 120. Similar packages as Firestone exist for NTB and other providers. The service was good and the mechanic was a great guy but the price gouging was horrible. Keep in mind this was only for front end. The car was on the lift already and I'd already been there about half an hour. Do your research on pricing. read more
