I've made appointments there ~4 times, and while I've rooted for this location to be awesome, they're not getting better. My experience this weekend will be my last. I chalked the first few visits up to "growing pains", but I'm moving on and you should too. Driving to Boulder (20+ mins) is worth it for higher quality customer service. PROS: - Waxing in the City HANDS DOWN has the best products and wax. It does the job, while leaving your skin super soft. - Online scheduling makes life easier when you're looking for a quick beauty treatment. CONS: - There is no one ANYWHERE to greet you. I totally get business expenses, online check-in, technology-led options. This all makes sense. But when you can literally hear the waxers in the back chit-chatting and no one greets you after 15 minutes, that's ridiculous. On 07/01, I waited 20 minutes before anyone even came out to see if I was ready. That's 15 minutes past my scheduled appt time (a service that wouldn't have taken more than 15 mins - yes, I arrived 5 minutes early). Other locations in the front range have this same set up, but you NEVER wait this long. - If you call, the phone rings to an empty office. Thinking something was off, I called the phone number to the location from the lobby - - which led to an open/empty office that I could see from the waiting room. No one answered the phone or even paid attention to it. - They're not setting their waxers up for success. It isn't the girls' fault that this setup is in place. If you have all the time in the world to just hang out in their lobby unattended, try this location. Otherwise, the drive to Boulder is my full recommendation. Note: After this "appointment" that never was, I drove 20 minutes to Boulder and had the most lovely appointment with the WTC-Boulder team.

Let me start out by saying I have gotten Botox well over 10 times in the past few years. I decided to try a new place due to the turnover at my last office. Hige.mistake. As soon as I sat down for my appointment, she goes "uncross your legs" and asked me to raise my brows twice and smile twice. She then says "you need 43 units to fix that" (meaning my whole face because she wasn't focused on any particular area at the time) I was so taken back that she said "to fix that" I said um excuse me? She said "not to be rude". I then continued on, to give her the benefit of the doubt, and let her know it sounded like a lot since I am fairly young (34) and have never received more than 20 total units at a given time with very great results! She literally said "go back there then, because that's a miracle"!! Who says that to a customer and when they own they own salon!?? I should have left after her first unprofessional comment. How ignorant do you have to be to represent your own salon this way? I felt like I was in a twilight zone, and was completely disgusted as I have never had an issue with anybody I've ever seen for any service. I got up to walk out and she continues to try to back track saying, I can have our other gal come in to tell you what she thinks!! Ummm. No. Thanks. Whoever the other gal is needs to find someone else to work under. STAT. I originally booked with her but she ended up not having any openings (website booking issue) THIS PLACE IS TERRIBLE. On my way to my old spot. Please everyone listen to all of the negative reviews.

Brice was "THAT" stylist. $70 for a haircut is pricey for me HOWEVER I got what I paid for...I got MY STYLIST. Brice listened to me, educated me and offered his expert opinion. I said what the heck, it's a new journey...I said, do your thing and THEY DID JUST THAT! Well done,...my hair is full of bounce and life again... THANK YOU and I can't wait for my next cut! They do not care about their customers…read more I have been going to the Hair Bar for around a year and have always had good experiences. I had an appointment scheduled for 10am on a Friday, and overnight I had to go to the ER and was admitted to the hospital for pneumonia. I called right when they opened on Friday to cancel the appointment, and asked if they would make an exception to their rule of charging 50% for cancellations within 24 hours since I have literal pneumonia. While they were not kind about it, saying I'm so sorry or anything like that, they agreed to make an exception. Then I got an email saying they charged me anyway. I replied back and reminded them of the conversation and asked them to refund the charge, but I have received no response. A little kindness and understanding goes a long way... I will be finding a new salon now.
