I have prior experience with high-end home automation systems, including a professionally installed system in a 12,000 sq ft home that worked flawlessly for years. Based on that background, I had clear expectations for quality, reliability, and professionalism. Unfortunately, this company failed on all fronts. This project cost approximately $30,000-$50,000, yet from the beginning, the work was disorganized and inconsistent. The technicians who came out often appeared inexperienced and unsure, as if they were learning on the job. I repeatedly had to explain basic issues myself, which is unacceptable at this level. One of the most critical problems is the doorbell camera system. It frequently does not ring inside the home, causing me to miss important deliveries from UPS, FedEx, and USPS. This is a fundamental function, yet it has never been properly resolved despite multiple visits and attempts to reprogram the system. At one point, they blamed my internet and insisted I replace a highly reliable router. I spent nearly an additional $1,000 following their recommendation, but the issues still remain. This clearly shows a lack of proper diagnosis and technical understanding. Communication has also been extremely poor. Before the contract was signed, responses were immediate. After payment, support has been inconsistent, and my recent email has gone completely unanswered. That is not how a professional company should operate. In addition, I cannot recommend the Control4 system itself. The application feels unstable, poorly developed, and full of ongoing bugs. Even a quick look at user feedback reflects widespread dissatisfaction. For a system at this price level, this is simply unacceptable. Overall, this experience has been extremely disappointing. Based on my experience, I strongly advise others to look elsewhere if they expect a reliable, professional, and properly supported home automation system.

He and his helper (Dustin?) arrived on time (and texted to let us know he was on his way). He cleared out the electronic boxes we didn't need, and hooked up our new TV and a sound bar. They were respectful of the property, were very tidy during the installation, and cleaned up after everything was done He cleaned up the mess we had in our closet where all the other boxes are (cable box, router, DVD player, etc.). It was like a wire nest in there! Everything in there is now neat with wires and cables neatly rolled up and secured to the wall. He installed a surge protector which makes it so easy to reboot the modem/router now. It was so hard to do before. The TV is a big upgrade from our old TV and Jaime took the time to show me how everything works. He tried to set up the Harmony remote we have to be the only remote we would need but it wasn't set up properly when the first installers installed it so it is not as usable as it could be. Lucien called his team and found Dillon, who was close by and able to come out quickly. Dillon was very friendly and competent. He quoted me $200 for a house call...very standard for the area. Dillon uncovered the faulty circuit breaker. He cleaned it as good as he could that afternoon and returned the next day with a brand new "contemporary style" breaker which he installed. Problem fixed! Prompt, clean, efficient and friendly. Who can ask for more? The $200 service call included the new circuit breaker. If I ever have another electrical issue, I'm only calling the team at Laguna Electric.

Had all the right gear and the right anchors to support my 75" TV, which wasn't made to be the lightest. Put down drop cloth and cleaned along the way. Had a helper to split the work and get the job done fast. I did t have to lift a finger. Provided some good advice on placement and AV design. Although my needs were basic, they seem knowledgeable in setting up full blown home theatre systems. They were responsive even though they were busy going from one job to the next. I guess when you're decent at your job a lot of folks hire you. I would use them again in the future.
