Lucien called his team and found Dillon, who was close by and able to come out quickly. Dillon was very friendly and competent. He quoted me $200 for a house call...very standard for the area. Dillon uncovered the faulty circuit breaker. He cleaned it as good as he could that afternoon and returned the next day with a brand new "contemporary style" breaker which he installed. Problem fixed! Prompt, clean, efficient and friendly. Who can ask for more? The $200 service call included the new circuit breaker. It was time to finally get a transfer switch installed, that would allow certain items in my house that were important to get back up running if electricity was lost ie. refrigerator, lights, etc. He was prompt in a call back and estimate was sent to me. I had to get new wiring for a brand new A/C condenser unit. Albert and Kevin came out and did a great job on extending an external conduit and installing new 50W breakers and fuses to safely operate my condenser. They also helped troubleshoot an old broken outdoor lighting fixture and even though they didn't have to, they help me replace the fixture with a brand new one I had in a box. All within 18 hours of my plea to get a home EV battery charger for a new electrified SUV. I bought an 2023 electrified SUV online without any forward planning about charging an electric car. Not to worry said the auto company's online concierge - we'll set up an installation service for you - just buy a battery for us to install. So I bought a Juice Box 40 & it sat in my garage for 10 days with no word from my concierge EV home install crew. When I finally got my concierge install representative on the phone, I was told that the company had no trustworthy installer in my area! So I went to Yelp & within minutes, I discovered Laguna Electric sitting 3 miles downhill from me in Laguna Beach CA (I live in Top of the World neighborhood). I was able to say hi to Lucien in person & he set up an install for me early the next morning. Since my cable box is located far in the back of the house, the install price had to be adjusted an extra $500. In essence, Laguna Electric came out & did the job within 18 hours of my request - and they charged 50% less than the auto company's concierge EV home install crew!!
