They had a dark smooth beer on nitro Death Clock which was awesome while it lasted. I have tried several others that were good but I keep going back to my favorites. Atmosphere: 5 - Relaxed. One of the best atmosphere's in the country. Dozens of old leather couches and litter the concrete floor sitting on rugs. It is undeniably cozy! I just sit and chill out. Especially when they have live music going which is several times a week. The beer is good but I return for the atmosphere. Service: 5 - Ordered at the bar. Beer delivery is quick. Knowledgeable staff! Food: truck is here on weekends which is when I stop by. Cultural/Political Agenda (1-5): 5 -Everyone is welcome. No preachy nonsense or virtue signaling, just beer, as it should be.

Two of my personal standouts are the Beetle Juice, which incorporates fresh beet juice, and The Fishbone, which brilliantly highlights their house-made aquavit. We started with a couple large pretzels and a variety of beers- I just had a prosecco though, so if beer isn't your thing, there are alternative options. And honestly, The Alley is really hyper confusing. So I pull into QCBC just looking for a burger and a beer. And dayum!! Did they deliver!!! First...my bartender comes in super cool. She explains the menu and recommends a beer. I keep it simple...the QCBC Burger with provolone and fries. She recommends the Kolsch. I'm in!! Long story short...perfection!!! The burger is cooked exact to spec. The fries are crispy, seasoned and delicious, and the beer is a pitch-perfect match. Faith restored!!! I was skeptical going in. Walking out...full, happy, and looking forward to the next time I can settle up to the bar and enjoy another perfect burger and a beer experience. Seriously kids...hit it out of the park!!!

I replied and was super excited... then they ghosted me and never gave me a date. Then I applied for Charlotte Idol - my friend did it last season and all my friends were telling me to do it because I also sing. I've been paid for college shows and done plenty of performances - so not to toot my own horn but I know I can sing. They emailed me AGAIN for this event saying I was perfect and to send a photo and snippet of me singing and then they would email me next steps aka what date I would be. You guessed it I sent my photo and video and then crickets... ghosted AGAIN. This time I said enough and I replied to them via email after a few days and again NOTHING. Super humiliating and unprofessional to continually reach out to someone, get them excited, I told ALL OF MY FRIENDS, and then you don't give me dates. It's embarrassing I hate to admit but I want other people to know what I've experienced so the same disappointment doesn't happen to them. Luckily I have the best friends in the world and we all will be boycotting Open Tap after being frequent attendees especially for their events!
