Got a recording. Got a return call confirming my order. Found it's better to text with C6 or F7 unless one can speak Vietnamese. Main associate lacks English proficiency. Much easier for her to get "code" Place was an easy find. Street parking slightly difficult. Unknown if parking in their lot is permissible. Went towards big building on the right . Found unit with "Taste of Asia" brochure on window. Just before the gate. Bingo! Stood in front of open door until Vietnamese lady came out with my order. $21 cash. Unknown if Zelle has tax added to it. Tipped a little. Lady hesitated to give change. Offerings (Vietnamese): street food, drinks, coffee. Sips: Cafe Muoi Bien (sea salt foam Vietnamese coffee, 7)-Viet coffee, sea salt foam, condensed milk. -coffee didn't look full. No doubt foam on top shrank/mixed into coffee. -bold coffee with alternating sweet & salty tastes depending on sipping foam or condensed milk. Bites: Banh Trang Cuon (Vietnamese Special roll, 14). There's also a salad version with same ingredients & no wrapping. -dipping sauce had sweet & savory notes. -rice roll had dominant theme of beef jerky. The surrounding nuanced taste was a symphonic medley of carrots, quarter sectioned boiled eggs, coriander, green mango, dried shrimp, fried onions, peanuts & green mangos, 5 stars Worthy! My friend picked up some drinks and foods from 2Ơi before our rainy day hang in the East Bay, and they were so freaking good!! I got the Vietnamese rice paper salad in a bag and the mango passionfruit tea. The tea came with chunks of fresh mango, and the rice paper salad contained so many dry sakura shrimps. Both were huge portions, and the taste was authentic, so I was really impressed. I really hope this business gains momentum and is able to eventually expand their business if so desired. read more

It can be difficult to find Vietnamese places that don't just serve pho or com tam in the area, so I'm so happy I've found a place that sells authentic Vietnamese street food! This is a to-go only spot - you call/text your order ahead of time and pick up from a sweet auntie who sells food and drinks from her apartment! Generally, she will bring the food out to your car. I did get a little lost while trying to find the location, but she came out and met me with a big smile on her face! I ordered the stir fried corn (bap xao), Vietnamese pizza (banh trang nuong), and their specialty Vietnamese rice paper salad with no peanuts (banh trang tron). She was very accommodating to my peanut allergy! Bap xao 10/10 - stir fried corn loaded with tons of dried shrimp and topped with a mayo/butter sauce and sriracha. Incredibly savory and satisfying, I'll never want to eat corn another way! The sweetness from the corn mixed with the intense salty, umami flavor from the dried shrimp was to die for. Banh trang nuong 9.5/10 - grilled rice paper topped with cheese, julienned pork, ground beef, green onion, and the same mayo and sriracha sauces as the corn. Despite getting lost and having to drive back to my home ~20 minutes away, the banh trang still held onto its delightful crispy, crunchy texture! Banh trang tron 9.5/10 - their specialty street food! The Vietnamese coriander, mango, and citrusy vinaigrette gave a nice refreshing balance to the salad. The rice paper was also the perfect vehicle for this salad, soaking up all the flavors of the ingredients its next to. By the time I got to eating this, the banh trang was all stuck together, so definitely eat this one first! Overall, the owner of this establishment makes extremely flavorful and balanced dishes. For being a "snack" place, the portions are large and satiating enough to be eaten as a lunch! You can tell the owner puts a lot of love and heart into her food, and she is also so sweet and warm! I didn't know you have to order ahead of time, but Thuy was very friendly and said it was okay as long as I'm willing to wait. Omg, we have never had rice paper salad but it was so refreshing to eat with lots of flavor and just the right amount of spicy. At first though, we were like what are these plastics - lol. I think one suggestion for the salad is if the rice paper could be packaged separately or to have an option to not have it mixed so the rice paper doesn't stick together as much when you bring it home. Easy apartment pickup location that had plenty of parking. I wished the rice paper wouldn't get soggy so fast. But that's just the nature of rice paper and nothing we can do. Flavor was really good. They are a order by phone (I think there is a website option) and pick up to-go only. They were all very nice over the phone as well as the person who dropped off our drinks. We waited about 10 mins in the car as we were already there. The drinks were really good! Not too sweet. Coffee was strong. Except there was a lot of ice, the ratio was 3/4ths ice which was not something we excepted. Next time, I'd ask for less ice. We just waited for our drinks to melt a little. read more

A hole in the wall spot that you would have never found if you weren't on Yelp. I ordered Vietnamese pizza, sate sandwich, sautéed corn, seat salt foam Vietnamese coffee, and chia seed Vietnamese coffee. Vietnamese pizza had a perfect light crisp from the rice paper and a nice balance of savory flavors. Sate sandwich had a nice little kick with some sweetness with the crispiness of the baguette that the topping sit on to really give you some complexity in the flavor and texture. Only thing I didn't enjoy too much was it was sauced just a little too much, but that is personal preference. The corn was just addicting to eat, the initial bite of savoriness from the shrimp and sauces into the sweetness of the corn just sings to me. The coffee from this place is also amazing, not too sweet but not too strong. The chia seed coffee is a little bit on the milky side. The sea salt foam coffee easily makes top 10 for coffees I've tried. I love the bold coffee flavor with the sea salt foam to neutralize some of the bitterness. The sea salt in the foam really adds a nice flair. This place is ran by a very nice lady and I would highly recommend giving this place a try. read more
