This is one of the best bike shops in the entire Chicago area. The employees not only know how to diagnose problems and fix bikes but they also know how to deal with customers and treat people kindly and with respect. I would not hesitate to take my bike here for repair. read more

Legit my favorite bike shop. You got a bike that's broke? They can fix it. You need to know how to put air in your complicated new tires? They got the free pump outside that doesn't overfill. Plus they'll explain the mechanics in a easy to understand way. You bought a bike and want it assembled? This must be the place. They rent bikes for weekend trail warriors and leisure riders alike. Plus they walk the walk; or ride the ride if you will. You can often see the 2 Bici crew riding on the nearby trails after they close up shop. read more

This shop is a treasure a true gem ! Joe the owner is knowledgeable, very helpful and friendly. He has spent his life in the industry and wants to help everyone get out on 2 wheels. Rental bikes are very well maintained, trails outside the door, and a wonderful value. People travel from all around Chicago for this great shop !! read more

2 Bici Bicycle Shop - Palos preserve Winter - Bikes Near Me - Willow Springs, Illinois

2 Bici Made my 24 year old Cannondale feel like new, and they did it quickly. 2 days before my son was leaving for college, I decided to "hand down"my bike. Joe answered my call, listened to my needs and urgency and said to bring it in, he can make it happen. Thanks Joe and team! Top notch read more

2Bici bike shop is a breath of fresh air compared to some other bike shops/dealers. There's no sales pitch, no intimidation and no pressure. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. They work on all bikes from $5000 mountain & road bikes to your kids tricycle. They're a bike shop, they fix any bike. The owner, Joe, has been in the bicycle business for a long time and is an excellent mechanic. Highly recommend 2Bici Bike shop for your future bike purchase or tune-up. read more

2 Bici Bicycle Shop - Bikes Near Me - Willow Springs, Illinois

Very knowledgeable very customer orientated great shop Lots of cool bikes to buy in the shop.

Great people & great service! Joe was very knowledgeable an friendly. Highly recommend this business for service on any type of bicycle.

I am a cyclist in California. My 86 year old mother lives near O'hare and wanted to get her cruiser bike set up so that she could ride on a trainer inside. I called a shop near her house and was told that they don't sell trainers in the summer. Seriously? Then I called 2 Bici. Ryan understood immediately what I was trying for and suggested a basic trainer he thought would work. My brother picked it up, and when he had a little difficulty getting it to work, brought the bike and the trainer back for some assistance with set up. Bing bang boom, mama is now happily pedaling along while she watches her shows. Joe Gaspar and Ryan are a couple of wrenches that I'd feel as confident trusting with my high end road bikes as I did with my Mom's Huffy. read more

Just bought some CST rock hawk tires. Great price and great tires, however did get two flats within the first two weeks. Kind of new to MTB riding but I'm pretty sure you're not supposed to get them that fast. Other than everything is great read more

Beautiful bicycles that reflect owners' and employees' passion for the sport - either casual or for the more serious biker. Knowledgeable, attentive, and honest. This is a shop that isn't in it for "the buck". They're in it to share their passion with others. Highly recommend for their selection and for their customer service. Just wish their hours were extended a bit. read more

Needed tires / tubes, brake pads, shifter adjustment and tune up on older Schwinn. This place did a great job on all work and also cleaned her up. They also rent out and sell bikes. Only downside: they're only open weekends and repairs that need parts ordered could take a little longer. Otherwise very happy with their service!! Owner is Joe. read more

This place is so worthy of 5 Star, just like the fantastic Spokes in Wheaton. I came here bc I was riding the trails of Palos a while back and my pedal came off my crank within 10 minutes of my ride. I stopped in and they were able to service it on the spot, using another crank temporarily (from another bike in the shop) just so I could get my ride in for the day - Joe said just to drop it back off when I was done which I did the next day, how cool is that! I've been back on a few occasions and right now they are servicing a front fork issue I'm having, where most bike shops won't bother with the set of Fox brand Shocks I have. Joe totally has his bike knowledge together and is fair, trustworthy and a helluva cool guy. Also getting a 2.25 back tire on for the upcoming REI Meltdown race, can't wait to try it out! The location absolutely can't be beat, right at the foothills of Palos Forest Preserves off Archer Ave and Willow Springs Road. read more

I visited the shop on Saturday and introduced myself to the Owner and Staff. My MTB was shifting roughly and they made her purr. I instantly felt welcome and could tell that the employees/owner "wanted" to be there and help me. The shop was completely free of the douchyness you sometimes feel at bike shops. None of the employees were wearing tight rolled up jeans or cycling hats. The staff was knowledgeable about the products they had on site and the products they had available for order. Willow Springs needed a bike shop and I'm thrilled that the one that showed up is what it is. I have found my new shop! If you are looking to buy, I suggest calling ahead to make sure they have what your looking for in stock . If not, they will order it. If you are looking for bike service, whether you are looking to get your $25 Huffy or your $2,500 Duel Suspension MTB serviced you will be treated the same. Great Shop - Will certainly be back! Woohoo read more

The people at 2Bici are awesome! I don't stop in often, but after at least two years of not being in the shop, Joe remembered my name. Don't let their small size and lack of a flashy showroom fool you, they are the best shop around. They're knowledgeable, have excellent service, and aren't going to try to upsell you. Support your local bike shop! read more

Amazing Customer Service!! I needed a tune-up on my bike, that I hadn't rode in 1.5 years. I looked on Yelp and found this place, which is only 10 minutes from my house and right across the street from the I&M bike path. I was immediately greeted by Joe when I stepped inside to drop off my bike. He looked it over, took my info, and said it would be ready in a few days. So seamless and easy and friendly. I picked my bike up later in the week, and was able to go for a ride that day. I also bought a bike helmet, which fits great and is actually comfortable. Joe did mention that they do rent bikes, which is a great option since the trails are across the street. I highly recommend bringing your bike here. The service is excellent and the prices are great. This is a local small business that is worth supporting! read more

Yesterday I was halfway through a long bicycle ride and unfortunately needed a new tube. Luckily 2 Bici bike shop was a few miles up the ride and had me in and out in 25 minutes. Joe & Earl were very friendly and went out of their way to make sure my bike was in tip top shape. I'll definitely be back to give them my business. read more

Fantastic Shop! Great Prices on repairs and quick turn around. Very honest shop, never tried to sell me anything that my bike didn't need. The other great thing is that they are very near the Palos Triangle, Centennial Trail, and the I&M trail. Really recommend 2 Bici for all of your repairs, and they carry a great selection of new bikes. read more

My new go to shop. Joe and staff are great. From shifting issues to concerting to Tubeless. Always happy with the outcome and the guys are cool read more

Overprice part. Yesterday, on my way to Palos, the seatpost clamp of my son's bike got lost. When they charged me $20+tax for a generic no-brand clamp, I knew he was overcharging me for the part I but didn't want to ruin my son's day, and I didn't know about any other bike shop around, so I bought it anyway. Later, when I checked on-line on few bike shops around Chicago and Palos, I was right, you can get the clamp for less that $10, and on Amazon, you can get similar no-brand generic clamps for less that $5. I don't mind paying a little more on local business, but getting charge 100% more It is ridiculous. I really hate when people take advantage of you because of the situation. read more

Great service, they changed my pedals and put a new computer on, and a tune up. Interesting, the owner raced in Europe in his younger years and knows some of the big names in cycling. Nice person to chat with. I'll be back. read more

Stopped in to this store after a bike ride on the Palos Trail system to buy a new helmet. The store was fantastic! They had top brand products, and a great selection of basics and accessories. This is a store for real cyclists! Joe was working when we stopped in, and we had a great conversation about the Vuelta. We could have spent the whole day in this friendly environment. We'll be back, and we'll definitely recommend! read more

Please don't specifically state that the staff wears masks (as it does), when all 4 employees inside your small store aren't wearing them. I wouldn't have chosen to pay over $100 to have my bike serviced here in the first place if you're going to put customers at risk and make them feel uncomfortable being inside. Then when I pick up my bike I find a piece of the handlebar zip tied to it. I would have appreciated a phone call saying that if the gears needed to be replaced it would be an entire part that's replaced that won't match the rest of the bike. Please just practice what you advertise. I'll drive farther out my way from now on to get my bikes serviced. read more

Came to ride along the centennial trail when we realized the tires on our bikes were low. Went to the 7-11 and their machine was broken. We asked a biker if he had a pump and my boyfriend started to hand pump the tires when 2 boys sitting under a bridge came over and asked if we needed help. They told us about the bike shop across the street.... we rode our bikes there and the owner let us use the air compressor to fill air in our tires. Looks like we will be bringing our business to him in the future. Very nice and knowledgeable guy. read more

I live in Des Plaines and found 2 Bici while I was visiting the MTB trails with a friend. The minute I walked in I felt like I knew the guys for years! Joe and everyone in the shop were very friendly and down to earth. I bought my Salsa MTB from joe and he gave me an honest price and threw in some pedals too! I don't mind the 40 min commute to 2 Bici, it's totally worth it! I would send anyone who loves their bike to this bike shop. read more

Best bike shop the suburbs can offer! They know the trails in the area and are quick to give useful tips. Their service is swift and priced very fair. I'm amazed that every time I go here, I see customers hanging around to compare stories and get useful knowledge. What a relief from all the "big box" stores that have littered the area! read more

Very friendly and knowledgeable staff that goes the extra mile to take care of it's customers. I took my bike in for a tune-up and was impressed at the 2 day turn-around. When I got my bike back it was as good as new they even cleaned the rims.etc. This is a top notch shop and I will be recommending them to all my friends. Joe (The Owner) also spent time showing me all the various trails in the area. A++++ read more

While I never purchased anything from this bike shop, the friendliness of the staff is amazing. I have seen the snobbery and rudeness of some bike shop owners and this is definitely not one of those places. I was looking to buy a bike and I came in twice to test ride a couple. The staff are honest, friendly, understanding, and they don't try to force purchases on you. They also mentioned that the would work with me on the price, particularly if I was going to purchase other things like helmet or locks. I didn't end up buying a bike from this shop, but I would feel comfortable bringing my new bike in for repairs and tune-ups! read more

I dropped my bike off to fix a spoke and true both tires Monday. They didn't give me a claim ticket and told me it would be done before Friday. Friday night I walked in because no one called me and they were all hanging out, eating pizza, and drinking some crappy bottle of booze that looked like something they stole out of their mom's house. The one guy told me to hold on a second because he was on the computer. Another guy asked what I wanted and when I told him I was there for my bike he told me, "I'm not a mind reader! I don't just know which bike is yours!". To which I responded, "No one gave me a ticket". When he asked me what it looked like I told him "blue". Then Mr. Helpful on the computer said it's next door. So Mr. Mind Reader went to fetch it. In the meantime I peered over to see what was keeping Mr. Computer so occupied and he was looking at facebook. I paid and met the other dude outside with my bike. The first thing I did was spin the front tire. It made one revolution and stopped. Upon seeing that, Mr. Mind Reader said "see you next time" and went back inside. I'm hoping it's just the brake pad carriage that's a little loose/rotated. I won't be going back. read more

Came here with my hubby hoping to get some information for purchasing two bikes today, and I walked away with tons of wisdom! Joe was awesome. He explained the different types of bikes that the shop has to offer, and then he had us try out a few. I was really impressed by their knowledge and willingness to explain the many details an amateur biker needs to know. I definitely recommend checking them out if you are new to the bike scene or a veteran. read more

We took our bikes in for a spring tune up. I needed new tires, they replaced my tires but apparently not the inner tubes (or did not install correctly) as the back tire will not hold air. I expected much more based on other reviews (and the cost), looks like we need to find somewhere else to take our bikes. I cannot recommend this business. read more

Yes, Joe is friendly. Yes, he is a personable smooth talker. Yes, the shop is conveniently located next to the trails. Yes, Joe is experienced and can impress newbies with his knowledge. However, my super rare and expensive bike was damaged during an excessively long 'repair' stay. No, he is not honest. No, he won't do the right thing to you either, at least not without extensive nudging and persistence. Let him handle the cheap stuff. That way, it won't hurt as much when stuff goes wrong and you are calling and calling and calling to get things straighten out. read more

Service was quick, efficient and the bikes were clean, capable and ready to go. The staff were knowledgeable about the locale and helped guide us onto the trail. As it turned out the trails were very muddy, but the bikes just ate it up and the guys were not at all phased by their condition when we returned. read more

Fixed my son's 26" rear bike flat tire in 30 min exactly the time they said it would take and the price was exactly what I expected to pay - replaced tube and all good - just did another bike ride together with him this morning. called to see how late they would be open so I could drop my bike off for a tuneup. I was told 6pm, but when I arrived at 5:30pm, no one was there! Wasted over an hour of my time!!! Disappointing since the shop came highly recommended from coworkers read more
