If you want a taste of Red Bluff this is the place to go. YUM! I have never had BBQ so good in my whole life. The meat melts in your mouth like fine chocolate. The home-made sauce they make is good enough to drink. The ambience is wonderful especially the outside dining area. You have to see it to believe it. The staff are friendly and offer unmatched service. It is a place where 2 people can eat for only $20.00 and really get their money's worth. They have delicious sides to go with their meat. I personally don't like the potato salad, but No One can make potato salad as good as me, just ask anyone who's ever tried it. There can be 5 big bowls of potato salad at a potluck and mine is always gone, the other bowls just sit there and hope someone will eat them. read more

I stop in every time I'm around this area. The smoked chicken is awesome. The Tri tip is always super flavorful & tender. I'm kinda sad that I have to give this place a poor review, but I have to be honest and say that the ribs we purchased about a week ago were not thoroughly cooked!! We called in to order a full rack of baby backs (pork). The gal was very nice and said they'd be finished in about 30-40 minutes, they were still in the smoker. So we drove out and arrived 45-50 mins later, and they packed them to go as we'd asked. They smelled delicious and the ladies were very nice. It was near closing, so not busy. My husband had never tried their ribs so he was anxious to dig in. We got home and I cut them into pieces, and they were not done. I ended up putting mine in the microwave to cook them more. My husband got an end piece that was a little more done, so he ate a little bit of them, but they were tough, and he had to work at tearing into it to get a bite. He gave up after a few bites. They were closed by the time we got home so I didn't call. The next day was Sunday and so we didn't call then either, didn't think it was worth it really....won't go back anyway... Ribs should fall off the Boone, or be much more tender than these were. ... read more

Best bbq in NorCal!!! A little pricy, it was $40.00 for a lunch for 2 adults and 1 child, but it was SUPER DELICIOUS!!! Steve is the man, and he can bbq the tri tip with the best of em! The beans are top notch!!!!!! I always trade in the side salad for another cup of them beans. read more

We stopped here midday weekday while evacuating from the fires at Crater Lake. The staff was polite and the owners loaded our little kids up with samples of delicious chicken and beef jerky. We booked 2 Bud's BBQ for our daughter's wedding 9/9/17. They completely exceeded our expectations, they called me to confirm before I even had a chance, they showed up on time and with everything they'd promised which made it all stress free. The tri-tip was tender and had fantastic flavor. The chicken was moist and delicious and the beans were a great surprise with lots of chilies and peppers and tri-tip mixed in. Guests raved and everyone left full and content. There was even enough for a midnight snack attack for our late night partiers and a few leftover dinners to boot. I gave this place 4 stores because the BBQ is absolutely delicious; however, the sides leave more to be desired. I got a side salad that was literally a handful of salad that they grabbed from a bag. I got the half chicken and it had great flavor but it was slightly dry. My boyfriend had the tri tip which was perfect, flavorful and tender. I would recommend coming here if you're wanting some good BBQ and a laid back atmosphere. read more

OMG, we are so full of the best BBQ I've had since I left my home state of Kentucky!
