I loved the cute pink decor. The owner Tinnil was very sweet and told us about her story opening the business then and now. Confetti waffles Pork Bacon Hashbrowns Trini Benny Not in Brooklyn served in coconut Guava Mimosa The Trini Benny at Two Chix Brunch is a must-try! A Caribbean bake (family recipe for generations) topped with savory saltfish, a perfectly cooked poached egg, and chipotle aioli, served with sweet plantains. I was asked how my eggs can be prepared and you can get it cooked not runny. The waffles are just the right amount of sweetness, and the thick-cut bacon is spot on. Loved the cocktails, especially the non-milky Piña Colada--definitely one to try! And that guava mimosa was so good it was ordered twice. Come support this female owned business. Come dine in their backyard patio before the weather changes and it closes.

This was my first time ever trying 2Chix after hearing about it online and from a friend, I LOOOVE The Pink and girl atmosphere, its 100%my vibe. The pink Chocolate chip waffles, Pink plates, rose gold cutlery 10/10 decor and vibes. They have a really nice outdoor area as well with the same pink cutesy look. The playlist was fire, carribean music and chill r&b, service was really good, Kaylin was super sweet and super friendly. FOoD WaS dELiCiOuS OMG!! Me and my gf split a chocolate chip waffle and each had our own hash brown bowls with sauteed bell peppers, onions, eggs, cheese and bacon. Delicious, 10/10 will be back and I think they also do pick up and delivery!

I wanted to love this place but I was disappointed. The service however was VERY nice. The waffle was really soft, soggy. It's only 1 waffle & a small piece of chicken for $20. I prefer a crispy waffle and it's just expensive. The powder was too much. Chicken was good. We also got a $50 mimosa pitcher that tasted artificial and wasn't strong at all. We shared between 2 people, each had about 4 drinks and didn't feel the alcohol at all. For the 2 of us it was around $96 and I left hungry.

Words cannot express the vibe I experienced here! The food was delicious, I was sad they sold out of the Mac bites though, but that just means I need to come back! The service was amazing, the venue was super cute, I love how they decorated the venue, especially for Halloween! The owner and staff were everything! I mean, we had such a great, deep, personal and real conversation. It was so genuine and pure! My advice to others, before you post judgement on someone or their business, maybe you should speak to them first or get to know them, learn the back story of people's journey before you speak negatively on them! Everyone has a story and this one is a beautiful African American Queen doing what she loves to do and it's not easy! Keep your head up Queen! God got your back! See you soon!

Made reservations ahead of time which I highly suggest as the space is incredibly small and popular. It was cool the be able to order everything online and pay the tab in the same manner. No interaction with sever needed unless there was an issue which there wasn't. The pink concept is soooooo cute! Loved the beautiful design. I got the pink waffle and was able to customize it to my liking. I got a side of cheesy eggs and bacon. The wings were deliciously sauced. I got a lemonade with an edible straw for razzle dazzle. The food came out quick and was tasty. No complaints would recommend but please make reservations and be mindful of the tight space

What a great find only a short walk from our Airbnb! We loved our food and drinks. The peach tea was light and refreshing. The hash bowl was very hearty and filling and they offer options with and without meat/bacon. The chicken and waffles were amazing - the chicken was tender and juicy, with a sweet, glazed, crispy breaded outside. Waffles were pink, in line with the color scheme of the place. There is outdoor seating in the back patio area, as well as some limited indoor seating. Would definitely recommend if you're in the area!

Very great breakfast but I think it needs to be eaten in person rather than getting a delivery. The hash brown sides are really small. I think more should definitely be offered. Belgian waffles and waffles in general are pink inside, I thought it was a strawberry waffle, ha! Nonetheless it's good breakfast but certainly should be eaten at the restaurant and not as takeout because it'll then be all cold, soggy and not great. Huge Bonus because they use thick cut bacon (Yum) I forgot to take a picture of that.

This place was mediocre at best. I liked the decor. It was a sweet, classy vibe but even that did not save this girl's brunch. They were very accommodating. We were not rushed throughout the entire meal. However, they did not have the macaroni and cheese bites. This is literally one of only three appetizer options. With such a limited menu, there's really no excuse to be out of items. We got the plantains which were just fine. The chicken was okay. The waffles were decent. Everything was fine. There was literally nothing to write home about. The drinks were more disappointing. The sorrel drink was so syrupy. The chix punch was not well mixed so it tasted like juice at the beginning and alcohol at the bottom. The mimosas were the best part of the meal. I suppose they can get extra points for separating our bills without asking, although they did add in their own 18% gratuity for a lunch of four. I've never seen that before.

Unfortunately, it was a disappointing experience. I made a reservation for the backyard and was not able to sit there. However, I'm glad I wasn't because the music seem to be blasting and I wouldn't be able to have a conversation so we sat inside. However, the AC was pretty strong Causing my friend's coffee to get cold because she was waiting for milk which she never received and just reached over the counter to get some half-and-half. We were told at the end by a server how they were understaffed today which is unfortunate. the French toast sandwich with egg, cheese and hash brown was mediocre. The lemonade was great and the decor is very cute. However, they should put more emphasis on food and service.

I need Waffle Bae! We had a delicious breakfast at 2 Chix! The eggs were savory and the hash browns were nice complement. The star of the show, Waffle Bae, was fluffy and flavorful with strawberries, topped with creamy, light whipped cream, pink sprinkles, and powdered sugar. The guava lemonade and orange juice were refreshing. For the Paradise Chicken and Waffles, the chicken breast was tender and had a nice crispy breading. The service was great, efficient, and the owner was very pleasant and welcoming! The seating was comfortable, the decor stylish. We will be regulars!

Wish I got the opportunity to actually try/review the food here. Placed an order before they opened, and once they opened it was accepted by them on the delivery platform. The person who was meant to deliver the order arrived and waited nearly 20 minutes. I then received a notification that the order was cancelled and refunded by the restaurant because they were "busier than usual". This was 40 minutes after accepting the order. Whether this is typical behavior from them or not, it definitely does not motivate me to order, visit, or recommend the restaurant. read more

This review long overdue but better late than never. But I have the pleasure of going to brunch with a coworker, and we were served by the wonderful Tatiana. She was a great person who had an amazing personality, and truly made sure that the drinks and food that we ate complemented not only our tastebuds, but the type of brunchers, who like to enjoy themselves. Talking about the food, it was amazing everything we ate was cooked to perfection. I truly did enjoy the drinks. My favorite, however, was the ice tea even without liquor this drink was phenomenal. This spot is amazing! And at a time where genuine good service is becoming more rare than a unicorn, my interaction with the young men who took care of me one rainy afternoon was refereshing as f&%*. I love the vibrant, feminine aesthetic and the friendly service upon entering the cafe. They have indoor and outdoor seating, which is convenient and the back patio is actually very nice and breezy. The place itself is a neat, lovely contrast against the dusty grittiness of Bushwick. The food was absolutely delicious - wish the non-carb portions of the dishes were bigger because the chicken from the chicken and waffles was out of this world. Super cute cafe and delicious food! I ordered the Mad Love hash bowl. When it came out I thought it looked small but then watch me not able to finish it! It was sooo filing and delicious. The hash browns were cheesy, the eggs cooked perfectly and generous amounts of chopped bacon. It needed no ketchup, hot sauce or salt and pepper. I wanted to like this place. But there were just too many things wrong. One, the service was very slow, not only to be served but also to receive our food/drink orders... it seemed that the ladies were confused about who does what...and it just took a while. Also, coffee was hard to come by, very luke-warm and took forever to heat it back up when I requested it. For a brunch spot, you would think coffee would be freely flowing. Thirdly, the food was just okay, and for the price, you would expect a higher quality. The overall vibe was cute and I appreciate the mission/vision of these two ladies. Personally, it seemed there was more of a priority put on IG appeal than running a quality breakfast/brunch spot. I do respect the female/Black owned small-business ...But there were just too many obstacles getting in the way of a truly memorable time. read more

The service was great, very friendly waiter. The pink decor and furniture is very cute.The food on the other hand left much to be desired. First of all the menu has a price discrepancy, the hash brown bowl is stated to cost $17 while it is actually $20. This could be forgiven if not for the fact that serving size is so small, felt like I was paying $20 dollars for half a potato, two eggs and a sprinkle of cheese. Many of the items on the menu have a brunch premium attached to very simple items. If you want a satisfying meal I would recommend going somewhere else. read more

The acai bowls were yummy and had a good mix of everything and this is a solid choice. I loved the coconut flakes on them! The Pao de Queijo breads were almost shaped like muffins and had an interesting, texture but were super cheesy and I would definitely order again. Overall this is a great option in Brooklyn for delicious and healthy food!

As you are seated you are welcome to place your order in the front of the glass display, they cook everything in house and sometimes they run out of the specials so don't sleep on getting there on time. We ended up getting their lunch specials and picked one main and two sides. I know my girl loves Ox Tails and ended up getting the last plate with some candied yams and Mac and cheese. Let me tell you, we cleaned the plate and it was finger licking good!!! The jerk ribs were amazingly tender and fall off the bone. All of the sides were well portioned and absolutely flawless. The ribs definitely taste amazing but they don't take off the membrane in the back which is slimy and gross. I left that part behind. The yams were sweet and good BUT.....that mac n cheese is NOT soul-food Mac n cheese. Here's the thing I figured out, they use such little cheese but season the noodles very well that you don't truly notice unless you love mac n cheese, which I do, so I noticed it lacked so much cheese but had seasoned noodles. The rib dinner was a 3/5 because ribs were great but sides needed help. I had rice and peas as an additional side and fried wings. The wings were ATROCIOUS! I ate the smallest one and didn't eat the rest. How can you serve such huge feathered wings like that? It was a nightmare. The feathers being on it turned me off. This tells me they don't make their food with care, they move quick to be one and done and I want my food cooked with love and care. They were also frozen wings that were thawed and seasoned, I know the difference. The rice and peas were okay 3/5 as well. Overall the food was not worth the hype. Customer service was beautiful for sure but the food was not it.

The drinks prices are literally too good ($10 for a really good marg, and that's just not happy hour). The food menu was nothing fancy but it was delicious. I got the chicken schnitzel sandwich and would totally recommend it - quinoa and kale side salad is great, and the garlic mash is soooooo good. This place is casual and has a couple outdoor seats, and a counter where you order. But the people were so nice and the food came in good time, and I will most definitely be back!

The establishment looks pretty unassuming from the outside, but as soon as you walk in, you are transported in time to a cozy, vintage themed café with a small bar and a few tastefully scattered tables. I glanced over the raw oysters on another table and was very unimpressed by their miniature size. Also, unlike what their website states, the happy hour oysters are actually $1.50 each, which I found slightly annoying and maybe they should work on updating their website. Instead of going the raw route, I ordered the charbroiled oysters off the happy hour menu to start. I also heard their hush puppies are really famous and so I wanted to give them a try as well. For my main entrée, I saw another patron with a chicken sandwich and I ordered it. The hush puppies were really good, slightly on the sweet side with a fluffy corn batter, crunchy exterior. The dipping sauce that came on the side was actually a molasses butter, which was to die for. I do think that the hush puppies were a little bit on the greasier side, I could see that the insides had soaked in some oil which is never good for a fried item. They should probably work on frying these at a better temperature to keep the dish light and not as greasy. The chicken sandwich I was expecting from the looks of it for the chicken fillet to be meatier and thicker, but, when I bit into it, it was a lot more breading than I thought it would be with very little chicken. The side of pickles that came with the sandwich were absolutely delicious and really held a sandwich together because all that grease really needed a solid pickle to cut through it and these pickles did exactly that. I would love if they served even more of those on the side with the sandwich. The salad that came on the side of my sandwich was bright, well seasoned and delicious and not drowning and olive oil, which I appreciated. The charbroiled oysters were honestly a disappointment. This is a dish that probably would've worked well if they were using larger size oysters, but the topping to oyster ratio was just really off. The whole thing was extremely salty and the sauces on the oysters completely overpowered the oyster flavor. These were served with sourdough bread, which was a nice touch because the bread carries the sauce from the oysters very well. The oysters themselves had a lot of grease and then the toasted bread was also very greasy. I think that's one thing that I really did not like about this place is that their food was EXTREMELY GREASY. Normally food with fried components is not supposed to be this heavy but having this meal actually made me feel ill afterwards, and I only ate half of everything and had mad leftovers. I hope that they can improve on certain things based on my feedback. Service was friendly, it's a small space and it's not too hard to get a server's attention. I think their menu has so much potential. If they could just make a few need changes to elevate the quality of their food, this would be easily a five star establishment.

In short, despite the positive menu the execution was two stars.

Food 2 Service 5 Ranique Review I'd like to begin by expressing my appreciation for the exceptional service provided by my waitress. She was incredibly attentive and welcoming. I opted for the shrimp and grits, which arrived promptly. However, I found the shrimp to be on the small side and the grits were overly watery. As someone who takes great pride in my own cooking as a home cook, I believe that we eat with our eyes, and presentation is essential. Regrettably, I had to send the dish back, despite my aversion to wasting food, as it fell short of acceptability. Initially, I had intended to simply pay for the shrimp and grits and depart, but I ultimately opted to sample a different dish. The baked salt fish turned out to be a more appealing choice for me. When it comes to grits, I prefer the stone-ground variety. As for the shrimp, I like them to be medium to large in size and served in a tomato-based sauce with peppers, as it adds character to the shrimp. Would I return and pay $30 for the baked salt fish? Absolutely not. Let's be clear, I'm willing to pay for good food. Overall, I found the experience to be mediocre, but I did appreciate the attitude of the host. It's not her fault. The place is small, but the decor is cute (lots of pink). I will say for the portion size, the price was a bit inflated. We ordered two Oreo sized crab cakes, and each was priced at 22 dollars. It was delicious but was in fact a tad bit overprized. The cocktails were great and pretty averaged price. He was even willing to send the food by Uber since they didn't have a dedicated delivery person who could manage it. Ultimately, he made us feel taken care of and set our minds at ease about coming through for us on the event day. Everything was delicious and looked amazing! We got compliments all around for the food. What started out as a big unknown became one of the sterling aspects of the event. Sally's has made loyal customers out of us, and we look forward to supporting them whenever possible.

The atmosphere is warm, welcoming, and full of Southern charm. We later found out that several of the staff are actually from the South, which made perfect sense. We were lucky enough to sit at the Charles Oakley table, and as a lifelong Knicks fan, that was a really cool surprise. The scrambled eggs with cheese were fluffy and flavorful, and even the toast was delicious (yes, I notice good toast!). Now let's talk about the star of the show... The Crispy French Toast One of my friends ordered it, and thankfully we planned to share. Let me tell you... Chef's kiss. It's rolled in Corn Flakes, giving it the perfect crispy crunch on the outside while staying soft inside. Here's my little secret: I judge pancakes, waffles, and French toast by whether they're good without syrup. This French toast passed with flying colors. It honestly didn't need syrup at all. It was that good. I'd seriously make another trip to Brooklyn just for this French toast. The buttermilk pancakes were fluffy and tasty, although I preferred them with syrup. Still very good. The cheese grits themselves were creamy and delicious. They use mozzarella, but honestly, the cheese wasn't very noticeable. I had the lemonade, and it was incredibly refreshing on a 95-degree, hot and humid Brooklyn day. Our server, Hope, was fantastic. She's from Tennessee, and her Southern hospitality absolutely shined. We also ordered a couple of cocktails, including a Paloma, Expresso Martini, and Rum Punch. The Rum Punch was a little too sweet and syrupy for my liking so I had to add some water to dilute it. Our server and bartender, T-Rex, provided great service. She made us feel comfortable and checked in on us a couple times. I would definitely recommend visiting and will hopefully be back in the future!
