Left my jeep at this shop to get some work done. I had to call myself for some sort of update two weeks later, which they told me they were still working on getting another part as for the one they received was faulty. Then a month passes, yet again I have to call back myself again for some sort of update just for them to tell me they can't get another new part because x,y,z and that I'm free to pick up my jeep today...... On top of all that, after picking it back up I noticed my engine cover was missing. I called and the lady on the phone quickly said they never touched it and that due to the part they were fixing wasn't near it but yet they refused to give me some sort of receipt or any type of written proof that I was at their shop getting work done after asking for one. Honesty (noun) is defined in the dictionary as: adherence to the facts and fairness and straightforwardness of conduct. Honesty or truthfulness is a facet of moral character that connotes positive and virtuous attributes such as integrity, truthfulness, along with the absence of lying, cheating, theft, etc. Honesty also involves being trustworthy, loyal, fair, and sincere. I began this review with a definition so that I can put some things into perspective. I first learned about this business two years ago when my friend had trouble with his Jeep and took it there to be fixed. There were changes made to the programming and ultimately his engine was blown. They made an agreement to do an engine swap. My friend understood that it would take a little bit of time to do the swap since they were putting a beefier engine in it. That agreement was made 23 months ago. You read that correctly... 23 MONTHS. My friend has not even sat in his Jeep for almost two years. Being the good friend I am, of course the first few months I had to chide and tease my friend. I sent him Jeep memes and told him he had to give up his Jeeping credentials. He took it in stride, and tried to work with these guys to get the job done. During this time he paid off the Jeep, paid for full coverage insurance and missed out on many Jeep outings. All good things eventually come to an end, and his patience finally ran out. This is where my involvement began. Last month he sent a letter of demand and gave them until the 31st of October to hand over the Jeep. I went with him to take possession of the Jeep on the Monday after the Jeep was to be done. It was not. The Jeep was in three separate pieces. Frame and engine was on the ground, the cab was lifted in the air and his bumper was leaning against the wall. I was there as a peacekeeper since my friend was justifiably upset. After a barrage of excuses and finger pointing at his own contracted mechanics, the owner of the shop informed me that he was an "honest" guy and the Jeep would be done on Saturday guaranteed. We all shook hands on it. The Jeep is going to need to be checked by a third party, and plans were made for us to take it to the west coast to a specialty shop that can do just that. We both took off work and rented a trailer to do the transport. On Saturday we let the shop know we would be there at 4 o'clock to pick it up. When we arrived, we were greeted by two police officers. Rather nice and very professional fellows. Yes, the shop called the police on us before we even arrived to pick up my friends property. As before the Jeep was still in three pieces and the shop refused to put it back together. We were told it would be available the following Wednesday at 7 P.M. by the police. I have no faith it will be. As a Texas businessman and a gentleman I take a man at his word and a deal sealed with a handshake is as good as a contract to me. The dishonesty of this shop owner cost me time and money. The fact he called the police not because my friend or I were threatening in any way, but to cover his lie only added insult to it. I am offended by this, and hope You consider this review before leaving your property at this shop. read more

They also do a once over and make a list of items that are going to need to be address at some point and list it by importance. Garage is focused on business contracts, so it may take a week for them to even get started on your car. Also, picked up car, and there was a huge scratch on the side, and my horn no longer works. Mechanic got dirt and auto grime on seats and door handles. Luckily, I had neoprene seat covers that I could clean. My friend had a similar experience, with something else being broken after having her car fixed. Definitely shop around. Not a real savings compared to dealership. I thought they would be convenient since they were close to my house, but in the end, it was anything but convenient. read more

I was asked to help my neighbors vehicle that was being repaired here because the bill appeared too high. Turns out she had not taken care of here vehicle. The folks here were very thorough and separated the bill in to high priority an low. They were right on and did not pressure her for more sales. I walked away with a very high opinion of 2 Fat guys. We went in to have a part put on our truck. My husband had bought the part at Auto Zone, but just didn't have the time to put the part on. The customer service lady said they would not use the part we purchased that they had to supply the part. They have an Auto Zone sign up in the store. My husband pointed it out and said he had just bought the part from there. He then asked how much it would cost. She said $40 for labor and $60 for the part that he just paid $35 for at Auto Zone. She then preceded to tell him that they would have to hook up the car to see if there was anything else wrong with it. He told her he already had that done, for free, and that is why he wanted to replace the part. She said they would have to do it. He asked if he would be charged for that and she said well, of course. Just moved to the area 6 months ago and have been trying to support local businesses, but this will not be one that gets our business. Typical car repair shop trying to gut you. read more

So i bought a 2006 chevy silverado for a decent price it had a lift and big tires etc all the fancy stuff i wanted. Well about two weeks later the cross member broke on both sides. So i took in to 2 fat guys and they told me a bunch of stuff. I dropped it off came back a few days later and they took me out under the truck and showed me all this stuff saying it all needed to be replaced so i said okay. Then they call me and come up with an even biggwr list so i said okay go ahead. I came in to pick it up and the list got bigger. At my budget end for time i said ill come back. I called the gentlemen who sold me the truck and told him what had happen. He said he believed the crossmembwr however the larger portion of the rest of the lost could not be possible because he had just replaced alot of those parts. At this point the trucks front wheels are pitting inwards (control arms and bushings). The work order list that was sent to me from work done previously included new control arms. Plus the steering and wheel pitting wasnt even beginning to be an issue until after i picked it up. I will never recommend nor speak well of this establishment ever again. They acted like i knew nothing about it as well which was more than insulting! Now theyre quoting me almost 2300 dollars more in work just correct what wasnt an issue in the firsr place. read more
