Walked up to this Lively Busy Brew Pub . It was before a Giants game . So, it was pretty busy . Even though it was busy we got a wonderful greeting and an estimated time by Julio at the door . What a friendly and thoughtful front door guy :) We got seated pretty timely . Our server was Cyn , what a fun and knowledgeable gal ! This staff makes this establishment! The food was great as well , we ordered Chili Tots to start . Super crispy w/ a nice spicy . Hubby ordered the Fish tacos that were nice and crispy. Super tasty spicy salsa . I had the perfect BLT on a toasted Sourdough:) ... Nice side salad w/ Blue cheese ( I substituted) Oh, yeah it's a brewery. Great Beer ! I had a Michelada and hubby had a Sully

Got some good ass beers from this South Beach neighborhood brewery. It also has a few better than average things on the food menu. 21st Amendment is a pretty relaxing place most of the time it seems. Has a bar area in the front along with the tables that are better for groups. Prices are a little high but not too crazy for a craft brewery like this. Convenient spot for going to before or after a Giants game. It's a couple blocks from Oracle Park. This brewery has won many awards for its beers over the years. Many from the Great American Beer Festival and the World Beer Cup. This place gets hopping crazy on game days, but other times it's quiet. It's about $8 for a pint. The best one of these we had the last time was the 21 Tigers. Lots of fruity flavors in it. There's notes of guava, passion fruit, peach, and tangerine. As for the food, there's typical bar food such as burgers. Some choices too for vegetarians. It's $12 for the Smokey Hummus. This is a pretty small portion, the only complaint about it. Has lots of great beers. It's also got pretty tasty food. This is one of the popular places for those going to games or whatever.

Such a fun place to go to before the Giants game! It's about 2 blocks away from the stadium so super convenient. I got their famous highwatermelon beer and it was excellent. We also shared some apps because we were starving. The fish tacos & warm spinach dip were tasty & standard.

Came here before a Giants game with some friends and it was packed. We had to wait for about 15 minutes in line outside. The inside is a wonderfully lively environment, and it was noisy but you could still hear each other for conversations. I ordered the Granada Pomegranate Cider and the Veggie Burger. The cider was great -- not too sweet, and the pomegranate flavor actually comes through well without just tasting like a juice. I loved the veggie burger! Some places have the veggie patty too mushy, but this place had it crispy and well-balanced with the other ingredients. The fries were also great and love the thick cut. The service was pretty good for how crowded the place was. My friends and I had a great time getting dinner before the game. Would come out again!

TLDR: Refreshing beer, lively ambience One of our favorite places for a fun and easy beer run. Never disappointed with the beers, food or the energy at the place. Love the watermelon wheat! Note - Really crowded on game days!

21st Amendment is a dependable dining and drinking spot, with fantastic brews on tap and tasty food. I've been in here a handful of times, and each time has been fun. Last time there I went with my partner and we enjoyed two of their seasonal beers; the one that stood out most was the Fireside Chat. It's a dark and flavorful brew that pairs exceptionally well with their chili, which is also delicious. It's prepared with free range beef, which impresses me. You seat yourself at the bar or a table. A server comes up pretty quickly. Once the food and drink arrives, you may have to raise your hand to get their attention for other stuff, but that doesn't bother me. It's a laid back vibe here; and I like that. That said, food and drink arrive pretty quickly... never an issue. Ceilings are tall, and there is an upstairs loft for private parties. It can get loud when crowded but not annoyingly so. Multiple TV's play sports games. It's a cozy, feel good kinda spot. They have excellent chicken wings, but I'd love to see a boneless option, with organic chicken, and a vegan option to delight my vegan friends... but that's just me being picky. I'll continue to return here. Great spot to hang with the friends, or for a low key date night.

First time going here. It was crowded I guess the baseball game was over and people decided to go have a drink and eat after the game. The beer and the wings were amazing. The service was great and the place is cool where you can watch any sports on TV. I like the atmosphere. I will come back here again.

Really good beer but service was lacking. I get it was a game day but my goodness, people sitting at the bar were completely ignored while walk ups were served first. We at there for almost a half hour before getting asked if we wanted another beer. Totally disappointing. Tater Tots were good.

Hell or High Watermelon, Wheat Beer
    Jessica C.

This is truly my favorite brewery for their beer. They have a beer called Hell or high watermelon, and I will go out of my way whenever I'm in the city to order it and or purchase it if I see it in a store. the service is fantastic. The only time I've ever been disappointed is when they closed early because the Giants game ended, which I totally understand where they were coming from. I've stopped in during conferences and gotten a quick bite for lunch as well as a couple of beers just to make it through the rest of the conference and I have zero regrets for that. I highly recommend you coming in and trying some thing of theirs. Their french fries are fantastic and again their beer is the best.

    Cheese curds . . . yummy!
    Mark K.

We came here before a game, as has become our tradition. It was not too crowded, and we were quickly seated. We ordered the usual suspects: cheese curds and wings. Also, I was surprised to see shishito peppers on the menu - very chic for a tavern! And I was saddened to see the deep-fried pickles had gone away. Sigh . . . We also ordered a michelada - for a change. After all, it's a brewery and then some! The food came quickly and was nice and hot. The cheese curds were smaller in portion than our last visit, but enough for a pre-game nosh. The peppers were perfectly cooked and salted, and very tasty. The michelada was good and very refreshing. Overall, there was great service and good food - bring back the pickles!! - and a decent portion of cheese curds. Which means we will be back.

    Diablo Burger and Tater Tots
    Sahar N.

Fantastic spot to grab food and drinks before heading to a Giants game! I always get their Diablo burger (if you appreciate a little spice) and a side of their tater tots. Personally appreciate the tots more than the fries but you can't go wrong with either! Huge variety of beers but my go-to is their Ace's Guava cider! So refreshing and light. Inside seating or outside - awesome and speedy service with a sports bar atmosphere.

Just heard that the 21st is closing and I definitely have mixed feelings about it. I have really enjoyed the time spent there before Giants games and some of there food and drink have been real home runs but most of the best items had been removed years ago to make way for things easy to prepare. I feel that they kind of killed their own business as we used to go there all year round, not just before Giants games. My fav, the jerk chicken was removed from the menu along with sauteed mixed veggies, onion hoops, fried pickles, chicken bahn mi, quesadillas, Chinese chop salad, buffalo chicken salad, bbq chicken pizza, the reuben, just to just name a few. Everything they ever got acclaim for gone other than the watermelon wheat and the El Sully, Back in the day they did an oyster stout that changed my mind in darker beer. Now you don't see that anymore, just lots of variations on the same old stuff. Their watermelon wheat beer is quite good but they thought they could put any fruit in there and still make it work which is a rookie mistake for a beer maker. They cursed themselves with putting out that mango version of the watermelon wheat which was so bad even neither the Giants nor BevMo couldn't push it. On my visit a week ago I had a very odd experience. A delicious pulled pork sandwich that was amazing along with a very small portion of cold fries that appeared to be leftovers from someone who got fresh fries 15 minutes prior. The irony of the juxtaposition was a microcosm of the 21st, home runs and strikeouts!

    Kevin J.

Its that time a year! Baseball season, and that means the launch of Watermelon Wheat at 21st Amendment. Went to their location on 2nd street and they made some great changes, removing some booths, increasing the space, and overall cleaning up the restaurant. As alway the staff was very friendly and beer was great!

This creative brewmaster, Justin Boehle, has lots of unique, tasty beers on the menu. I'm a lover of sour beers and this spot had two on tap. I tasted the Revenge of the Nerds sour, 7.5% ABV, with mixed kettle fermentation with Nerds candy. It was sour, sweet and warranted a 13 ounce pour for $11. They put crushed Nerds candy on the rim for an extra sour kick. This thing had a fruity kick and lots of punch. I followed the sour up with a 13 ounce pour of the Flanders-style ale for $18. This dark brown, 8% ABV ale, was aged in French Burgundy barrels. It had a very rich whisky burn and lots of full mouthfeel. A lovely ale for sipping.
