Where was the COI on Monday morning? Monday afternoon? 1st thing Tuesday morning? Time after time, the fabled COI was coming that __________. (Fill in the blank.) Did you actually have insurance or were we waiting for your insurance application to be accepted and in-force? You mentioned my rejecting your company once the estimate was delivered Tuesday. Yes .. Perhaps you've forgotten your on-site estimate of $1500.00. I joked that you had the job so long as the financial estimate wasn't $5000.00. Your final estimate was $2500.00!!!!! I am very satisfied with the service I received from 24/7 Service Team. Jesse was very responsive and I didn't have to call, I was able to schedule it all through Yelp. I scheduled late Friday afternoon and had service scheduled for first thing Monday morning. Jose and his team did an amazing job installing the faucet and were respectful and informative. Terrible business that provides no communication. I booked an 11am appointment last Sunday with them but they never came. They never messaged that they were running late or unable to make it that day. I waited an extra 30min to 1 hour past our appt time before reaching out to them for follow up. It was mother's days so I gave them the benefit of the doubt and decided to reschedule with them for the following Sunday at 11am. This time around, I reached out the night before (Saturday night) and they confirmed the appointment for Sunday. The day comes and they never showed up and NEVER messaged us that they weren't coming! This is so unprofessional and they sure love to waste people's time. Absolutely do not recommend to anyone! read more

They are the best! I sent a request through Yelp for a non-emergency furnace repair and had someone out the next day. The technician assessed the situation and found that the 2 furnace repair techs that I had out had misdiagnosed the issue! The other techs said I needed a grounding wire from my breaker box to the furnace. However, the tech from 24/7 saw that I just needed to replace the sensors for $300. He fixed the problem quickly while explaining everything to me in great detail. He saved me at least $1000. They are lifesavers. They were super responsive to my quote request, gave us a very competitive rate, and came promptly on times they offered to come that same day. They seem to have done a good job overall, but it was hard to communicate with them. He came fairly quickly to give me a quote and explained everything he was going to do. He seems very knowledgeable about his job and gave me a good price. However, he must be very busy because after I agreed to the quote it was hard to get answers to my questions. Then, he was supposed to return to finish putting the plate on the wall and to adjust the lights as they are motion lights and one of them only turns on for a second and then it goes off, so now I'm left with trying to fix those final minor things. I'm not handy man, so that's just annoying to me. Just as a follow up, they did come and finish the loose ends. I bought a new unit in my building and there were a few items I'd planned (fixture changes, sconces, outlet tests) and a few I didn't (2 broken breakers, and a few other complications). In a Chicago winter, there are always going to be plumbing and heating problems and technicians get swamped with requests for emergency services (missing appointments) or want to charge an arm and a leg when they arrive at your house. I have used these guys twice now and both times they were reasonable and helpful. They gave me a reasonable quote through the yelp app, and upon arrival, seeing the problem not as big as before, adjusted the price even further. They always respond within 24 hours, and schedule arrival within a day or so of your infractions. We have a 1930s house with 1930s plumbing and our bathtub wasn't draining properly.
