EXCEPTIONAL SERVICE I requested assistance with my recently purchased refurbished Acer Predator desktop tower because I kept randomly receiving blue screen messages and boot device error pop ups upon start up. Within a minute of submitting my request, I received a response to schedule a time for him to come and work on my computer the following day. We scheduled for 2pm, but his earlier job was super quick so he offered to start ahead of schedule, which I was not expecting. Upon his arrival, he was able to work out the most likely problem within minutes. He installed a few open-source programs to look into the status and manufacturers of my hard drives, giving me insight to the brands of the components that my system had and how cheap and poor quality they were. That said, he said the rest of the computer was really good and that my setup was perfect aside from these poor quality hard drives. After giving his recommendations, he mentioned that he had hard drives so I asked if he could install a better quality one. Within 15-20 minutes, he opened my desktop tower and had it installed. The bulk of the time was spent re-installing the operating system on this new hard drive because he discovered Acer had blocks in place where it would not read the drive even though there was actually nothing wrong. Cesar discussed that newer technicians may have blamed this problem on the motherboard, but he was able to work around it and get it installed. He was also able to re-install missing drivers. He mentioned earlier that I had Windows 11 Home edition, which did not perform as well and wasn't nearly as secure so he also installed the Pro version on this new system. After this new hard drive was fully up and running, he showed me the performance metrics of my computer to show how much faster it was. The CPU usage decreased by half and memory was far more efficient. After this point, my computer no longer crashed or gave me boot device errors, which I was most happy about. The price of around $260 was very fair, considering he installed a higher quality SSD, upgraded my Windows edition to Pro, installed other premium hardware, and provided incredible advice and knowledge I wouldn't have even thought to ask about. He also provided a 1 year warranty on the hard drive in case problems arose. GOING ABOVE AND BEYOND As an added bonus, he also identified and fixed numerous other problems. He noticed that my mouse was malfunctioning and recommended the best brands and steered me away from Trend Micro and installed Avast, which also made my computer perform and respond better. He added icons to my computer making it easier to access the control panel and other menus, and installed a better file search method than the one built into Windows Explorer, making it far more efficient to locate files than waiting for them to load. MAKES THE TIME FLY FAST While Cesar performed his work, he shared many entertaining stories along with his tech insight. This really made the process more smooth and enjoyable than sitting there waiting for him to be finished. I enjoyed talking with him. I highly encourage you to be open to conversation with him during your repair time. It will make the experience so much more meaningful! Cesar even talked about life with me and gave me career advice and guidance, reminding me to always keep my paths open and not lose sight of my own passions and desires, my true self! CONCLUSION I was nervous and tentative requesting service from a technician. I've heard many stories about people being scammed or conned, or still having their problems after funneling in so much money. Cesar put all of those worries to rest immediately when he stepped through my front door. From the get-go, he was incredibly friendly, kind, intelligent, knowledgeable, and efficient. I was expecting a boring, monotonous repair appointment. He turned it into an experience I won't forget, sharing his wisdom, insight, and expertise, his incredible stories, his compassion with me. The keyboard on my labtop stopped working one night around 6:30pm and I called the business and Cesar answered the phone. I explained my issues with my labtop and He was able to very quickly figure out the root cause and tell me exactly what needed to be done and the cost was very reasonable! PLEASE read. I made the mistake of purchasing a computer from this guy. My husband and I purchased a computer from him because he was known for helping my father-in-law for IT issues at my father in laws place of business. First, Caesar and I spoke on the phone regarding the computer and later my husband purchased the computer from him. When my husband and I first tried connecting the computer, it was not working. This man was notified, and we were advised to meet him, and he would fix it. Which we did. However, we brought the tower home for a second time, and it still wasn't working. At this time, I thought it was the connection cords, so I purchased new cords through Amazon and even bought a new monitor. Unfortunately, these purchases did not help. He was notified once again. We were told to leave the computer at my father in laws place of business and he would pick up. A couple weeks went by, and we hadn't heard from him. Fast forward, he did replace the tower. However!! It was replaced with an old computer with some components not working. I literally laughed when I seen it. I took it as a loss.
