This review is solely on customer service. I do not know how knowledgeable or good he is in actual computer repair. I had trouble booting up my computer, so I contacted Cesar and eventually made an appointment for 2:00PM the next day. In the morning of the appointment day, I messaged him to make sure we were still good. He replied "yes sir". By 2:26PM, he was still a no show, so I messaged him asking if he was still planning to come by. He replied "I still working on the earlier job, was not expecting this issues can't leave until I'm done here buddy". I understand that jobs can go over the planned time. However, I do believe it is his job to keep me updated if he is not going to make it on time or at all. He did not call or message me (after the appointed time), he did not apologize for bailing on said appointment, and he did not try to reschedule. Edit: I'd have been happy to retract my negative review, if you were more gracious about your mistakes. But since you don't seem to acknowlege them, let this be a reminder on your poor customer service. It only takes one phone call to set up an appointment. If you don't have the time to show up, don't set it up. Easy as that. read more

Cesar is an absolute hidden gem in San Diego! First of all let me just say I'm a tech guy. I built my own compute and I work in the IT space for the government. I ran into a headache of a jam with a new SSD card which was stumping me after numerous attempts to fix on my own. So I called up Cesar as he is one of the few places offering 24x7 support because it was late at night and Cesar was very friendly over the phone and even tried to give me free trouble shooting device over the phone. I really appreciated that but requested him to personally come to my place and fix it in person because I was done trying to fix it on my own. Cesar was very respectful and kept me posted on his ETA, he was finishing up another job 40 minutes away and showed up on time at my place. Cesar is super friendly and very accommodating. He has every equipment you could think of in his mobile travel box that includes numerous programs and hardware support. I was impressed because I was worried my PC had to be taken over night but Cesar was very patient with my problem and was able to do a complete overhaul on my gaming rig. He even upgraded a few programs on my rig which was outstanding! I definitely recommend Cesar for all your technology needs and support and I'll be sure to call up Cesar anytime I run into problems again I can't fix. As a repeat customer, this outfit has my full faith and confidence. 24/7 PC Tech consistently delivers friendly, fast, quality repairs at a reasonable price. This time around, I spilled some water on my laptop, and needed to install a replacement keyboard. Chris took me as a walk-in at their office location, zero wait time. He even let me sit and watch him work. He explained every step; I thoroughly enjoyed learning from him. Chris was deliberate and gentle during disassembly, which included removing and keeping track of some 25-30 tiny screws and multiple ribbon cables. The keyboard was nested behind a board secured with some 20 plastic contact points which were not designed to be removed. Rather than apply pressure and risk breaking components, Chris smartly used a mini-grinder to free them. He cleaned up debris before reassembly, and allowed me to test the keyboard extensively. He made sure that the keyboard not only worked, but also took time to optimize the tactile response of the keys. The repair worked beautifully. This was the first time Chris replaced the keyboard on my particular laptop model. It was clear to me that the manufacturer discouraged self-repairing the keyboard with their design. Faced with new territory, Chris showcased confidence, competence, and patient focus. It was apparent to me he likes a challenge and has a no-quit attitude. What we envisioned to be a 1 to 1.5 hour job turned out to be 2.5 hours - yet he never charged me more than the original quote. I threw in a tip because I was impressed. During our banter, I learned about other projects he was working on requiring interesting skills, such as: removing multiple bent pins (and then soldering on replacement pins) on a very expensive computer chip; or using a thermal device to locate a short on a fuse that was smaller than a grain of sand. Chris' workstation, including his cabinet of spare parts, was immaculately organized. From the way he dressed, to the way he spoke and carried himself - sharp. Even when I first arrived, I noticed he was studying technical videos on computer repair for fun. Honest, conscientious, organized, people skills, technical skills, values continuing education, clearly likes his craft - that's the definition of a professional. read more

Cesar came to our house yesterday to update our computers and to install a new printer. As always, he arrived on time, he did an outstanding job and I could not be more pleased with his work. He's also the nicest guy you'd ever want to meet, fun to talk to and really knows his stuff. He took some old printers and a copier which he'll recycle for us so we don't have to hassle with it. Caesar is an absolute JOKE. I explained my situation of a simple issue I was having with my 3 year old iMac that was running excessively slow. I had it currently over at the Apple Store who already don't seem to have any solutions to remedy the issue. I suspected that hardware was a possible culprit despite the Apple Store's diagnostics saying everything was fine. My backup plan was to purchase a new drive and upgraded RAM, and have someone install it because Apple had already told me they could only replace parts that the machine came with. No upgrades. That's when I called Caesar who initially was pleasant. I told him the situation, and he quoted me a very fair price to replace the hardware I intended if it came to it. Meanwhile, Apple Store calls me back and pretty much doesn't have any news for the status of my machine despite other things. So I send Caesar a thorough text to reexplain my situation and make sure I don't forget any details that might help him come to a conclusion that hardware is, in fact, the issue in this case. I asked, "Have you experienced an issue like this and if so, what was the remedy?" He responds, "You need to also purchase the adhesive kit." So I'm thinking to myself, "WTF?? Did he even read my text?" I text him again, "I want to make sure that hardware is the issue before I make any decisions," and again asked if he was familiar with the issues I was having and what fixed it. He responds accusing me of not having "faith" in him. Hmmm... Well Caesar, you didn't seem to be listening to anything I had said. I was providing you with information to help you, help me. You wouldn't just go replace a monitor that a customer tells you isn't working without making sure it wasn't routed correctly and that the cables weren't damaged, would you? So, I call Caesar to try to get things back on track giving the benefit of doubt that maybe something just wasn't lining up right. But no, he was quick to point out that I asked him 3 times if he had experienced my situation and stated that he took offense to me asking and also flexed by adding he had a degree in Comp Sci. Wow. I think Caesar mistook me asking him if he had experienced my situation with, "Do you have experience to fix this." And yeah, at this point I too took offense to Caesar not comprehending what I had told him and handed it right back to him saying, "I'm asking you a simple f'n question." Hey Caesar, I will ask you 20 times whatever question I want regardless as long as I'm the one paying money. So should you. You're a smart guy. Take the time to READ. Don't assume anything. Listen. Communicate. And if you dish out an attitude, be ready to take some your way. I'm routing for you, but no way am I using your services nor can I recommend them based on initial contact. Oh, and take note of his responses to positive reviews and the compared to negative. This fool thinks he can do no wrong. 2 faced. Hell yeah I'm bitter! No secret there. As they say, customers are more likely to share a negative experience than a positive. But let me ask you Caesar, did I lie at all in my review? I FULLY recommend these guys! I had bought a new graphics card for my gaming PC but was having trouble with getting a display on my monitor. I called and was told that they had someone ready right now to help me, and they texted me the address. I drove my PC down to their little shop (I was confused when I came here bc it is a little building next to an auto shop, but he came out and greeted me to reassure me I was in the right place). Chris was the one who helped me. He was very friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. I sat there and watched while he explained what he was doing so that I could understand what the issue was and what he was doing. I was probably in and out within an hour, he was so fast at fixing it. He even helped with my wire management and helped me get my drivers all set up. Plus, the fee was only $89, which is very reasonable for the type of help I needed. All in all, I would HIGHLY recommend this place to anyone and everyone. We had a power outage in our neighborhood due to an accident. After the power restored 12 hours later, I tried to turn our computer on but was unsuccessful. After multiple youtube remedies and my lack of knowledge, I decided to reach out for a mobile IT person. Cesar came to our rescue. He was very friendly and knowledgeable. He explained everything he was doing to assist me. After everything, his best advice was to upgrade our software since it was obsolete and couldn't be saved. Had to update this review now that I have my laptop back. I had ordered a new screen for them to install and it wasn't visible and we couldn't get the brightness up. After ordering another screen, Chris asked to keep the laptop over the weekend and the worked on it for several days. Ends up, it was a fuse the size of an ant that he finally found that was broken.
