I do not recommend 24HR Flood Pros. They charged me over $7000 even though their equipment did not work properly. I called them in the middle of the night after a water damage incident in my home. At first, they were very nice, but that seemed to change once they learned how much my insurance policy would cover for mitigation. Initially, it appeared they were carefully cleaning up and packing my belongings. However, when I later began sorting through everything, I found that they had packed firewood from my fireplace, along with blankets and pillows, into sealed moving boxes, while my family photos and other precious items were thrown into large trash bags. I was charged hundreds of dollars for them to box and seal pillows and blankets, which made no sense. The appropriate thing to do would have been to place the bedding in bags and protect family heirlooms and sentimental items in boxes. There was even a stack of firewood right outside my back door, yet instead of simply adding the fireplace wood to that pile, they packed it into boxes. The entire packing process felt careless and unreasonable. When I called to question these decisions, I was told that once they realized my policy covered so little, they were trying to save me money. That response only made the situation worse, because it implied that if I had better coverage, they would have prolonged or inflated the work. They also strongly pushed me to let them take and store my personal belongings for an additional fee, even though I had dry areas in my home where items could have remained safely. On top of that, some of the equipment they brought was not functioning properly. I reported it immediately and was told someone would come out to correct the issue, but no one did. I was still charged for that equipment. My adjuster told me he had never heard of this company, and after experiencing their unprofessional and disappointing service, I can understand why. I will never use 24HR Flood Pros again, and I would not recommend them to anyone. read more

Our experience: They were deplorable, dishonest, inept, and creepy. We are seniors and my husband is in hospice. We had a flood and lost our heat, sustained floor damage etc. Omar, from 24 hr Flood Pros came out and took pictures inside our home (while my husband was in our den in hospice) and crawled under our home. He stated there was extensive damage and he would have a quote to us the next day. We needed that quote as fast as possible. The next day came and went with no quote including a week later. I called Omar who said he forgot it and would get it out the next day. Still no quote. Another week went by and I finally called his boss, who later called me back and stated they do not do quotes for our flood issues. Soooo, what is different about our flood from anybody else's flooding? And why take pictures of the inside of our home or lie to us about getting quotes to us??? DO NOT SEND THESE PEOPLE TO SENIORS. First time home-owner here. This company is not very forward with costs at all. They would not be upfront about what the wall repair would be. They claimed they needed to see the wall and the damage done before they could do any work on the wall (which, by the way, was just a broken gasket on the bathtub, so they cut a hole in my wall for nothing. (: ) They left a fan in my closet stating that they needed to leave it to help dry it out, but they failed to mention that it would cost $25 dollars a day. After about ten days of having the fan they told us that we were actually incurring a charge of $25 a day. So, we're pretty unhappy about the fact that there's a hole in our wall, and now we're out $519 dollars for a bathtub overfill gasket. read more

This is a very poor company!! They failed to show up twice and showed up 3 hours late another time. Their old truck leaked oil all over the drive in front of our garage. They scratched our dryer with their tools and would not accept responsibility for it. We finally had to hire BluSky to finish the job. They were fantastic, I highly recommend them! When 24 Hour Flood Amateurs billed us for their shoddy work they tried to charge us $450 more than what was billed to our insurance. When we called them out for that they changed the invoice but said they would not talk about taking care of the damage they caused unless we took down the negative review!! They have zero integrity. Talon at 24 Hour Flood Pros was initially very responsive. We needed mold remediation on a house that was under contract. After the initial service, the mold test failed. He came and remediated again. Again the mold test failed. CERL who did the retest said it seemed that the company just sprayed something on the affected area and did not treat the wood. Meanwhile the Sellers had to pay for the remediation and two re-tests - very expensive. When I called and texted after the second failed test, I got no response. We came home from an extended vacation and discovered that the carpet in the bedroom was wet. We called All Hours Air and they came the next day. There was a leaking water pipe in the wall. The technician repaired the pipe for a reasonable price and recommended 24 Hour Flood Pros. Technicians from 24 Hour Flood Pros checked out the wall and told us that we did have mold on the lower part of the wall and part of the carpet. We notified our insurance company of the problem and agreed to send them an invoice. I received the invoice for about $2600 from 24 Hour Flood Pros and sent it to my insurance company. The mold remediation invoice was approved and I notified Matthew. As we were leaving on another extended trip, 24 Hour Flood Pros worked with our schedule. Two technicians removed the drywall, insulation, and carpet, treated the surfaces and set up fans within a plastic shield. They returned a week later and removed the fans. The plastic area was left so that the company that would repair the drywall could use it to keep the dust down to a minimum. My husband and I were very pleased with 24 Hour Flood Pros and the finished product. The service was provided in July. However, we just returned home to find that the roof has been leaking and we now have water damage with an outside wall in the dining room. I was looking for the phone number for 24 Hour Flood Pros and noticed the yelp rating. I was quite surprised to see that both 24 Hour Flood Pros and All Hours Air (who I used for my AC service for a few years) were blasted by a review from the end of August. I also read the reviews that were not considered for the rating. All of those reviews had five stars and I decided to see if my review would be considered in the rating. Tyler was very unprofessional. He needed to rent fans and dehumidifiers from me to do a few jobs. He tried to keep my equipment and finally when I got it back 14 days later, all 3 dehus no longer work and he cut my drain lines. He also kept three of my fans. He owed me $2500 for rental of my equipment but instead of paying me what he owes he had an employee give me a sealed envelope with a check for only $500. I will be filling out a police report for my missing equipment as I have documented photos of everything he rented from me. Also contacting his corporate office about my missing money and also to report then as he is doing asbestos remediation jobs without a license and not properly disposing of the asbestos. read more

Insurance Agent told me he had bad performance reviews from insureds and over-billing charges from 24 Hour Pros. No understanding of KS Law. Only trying to enforce Fed Law. They came in while a plumber was fixing my clean out and immediately bombarded my wife who was in a panic because the basement was flooded and my 3 year old was running in and out of the house. I got home as soon as I could to chase them off. All they did was tear up half of the floor (maybe 50 sq ft if that) and put down fans. Run! Very friendly. Conversational. BUT-You never see an estimate and then after you think you paid in full-another bill comes 4 months later. After the $4900 I paid for some drywall demo, carpet demo, etc... and the $1950 for the asbestos test....They wanted another $4000 to move 285 sq ft of furniture 1.5 miles away to a 10x10 storage unit and then back...and drop the bill FOUR MONTHS LATER. They admitted overcharging for the 'mitigation' by $1200. They didn't show up when they said they would-but left the evaporators running and charged for that. Never saw a mask, but I got charged for that. additionally, they broke my security system display by smashing it with furniture on the way up the stairs. These companies are a reason insurance rates are so high. Never again! I'll hire whomever my Insurance company contracts with from now on. NIGHTMARE! I was recommended this company by a Plumbing company that tried to rip me off for 17k. I had a pin hole leak in a pipe and they told me I had to have all my plumbing replaced. These guys came out and told me the water clean up would be no more than 2k for me or 5k if it went thru my insurance. They went into the crawl space and set up 4 fans, left them running for a week, came back took them out, put down some new plastic int he crawl space and bill my insurance $7,800 for that!!!! I saw the itemized bill, they billed multiple hours i never saw them, they billed us for the PPE equipment they needed to do their jobs, they billed us an hourly rate for the fans although they used my power to run them, and they had multiple visits on there from people I never saw, although I work from home. Do NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY, they work hand in hand with the rip off Plumbing Company All Hours Air.
