CROOKS through and through. A very young and inexperienced technician came to the house- did not have a ladder to check concerns in question. This company does NOT provide any written quotes whatsoever. They took $65 inspection fee from me that was going to apply toward the job if I wanted them to do it. I never got an actual price from the technician. Because he was basing scope of work on my personal weakness of having health concerns and wanting to test in EVERY single room, not the actual job itself. When I called the company directly and asked what it would cost me to apply the $65 fee to only ONE test - my living room ceiling and an outdoor air sample - the minimum- My quote was $750. So buyer beware, $750 will be the minimum cost to do business with this company if you need any testing. As a public service announcement, air samples average only $100 per space normally plus the inspection fee. Some companies charge $90 fee for the two air samples, one indoor one outdoor. This company is abusing their power and not at all helping people by taking them to the cleaners..... 411. This company is fast and efficient, I called for an inspection on a Tuesday and they had an inspector come out the next day a Wednesday. Dean was the first guy I spoke to and he was super kind and squeezed me in their schedule quick. They sent a guy named Leroy to my house and he went through my whole house checking for any moisture. Using an infrared camera and device to detect moisture throughout the whole house. He recommended an air test as I have been tested for mold exposure and have seen exposure in my blood test. Now this can be pricey I won't lie but this company was amazing when working a deal and helped me get the best rate and I really appreciate that. read more

I am writing this as a warning to anyone who has suffered with mold illness to not use this company for testing. This company is fraudulent and their testing is inaccurate. They do not care about the health and safety of your family, please hire a different company who will take mold seriously. Prior to purchasing a home, I had mold testing done through 24 H Mold Inspection and paid over $2,500 for this inspection and testing. They were not transparent with their fees up front which resulted in a much higher cost than I originally agreed to. I received the results back indicating that they did not recommend remediation as the test results did not indicate a mold problem. With this information, we moved forward with purchasing our home. The reason we were willing to pay such a high cost for testing before purchasing a home, was that both my husband and I have been made extremely sick from mold exposure in the past and it was important to us to find a home without mold, or to identify it and remediate it before moving in so we did not end up sick again. As soon as we took ownership of the home, we began updating the kitchen. My husband immediately found mold directly under the area that had been tested. When they tested that area, they took both a swab and an air sample of the area. Prior to them doing this testing I asked the technician if they would be able to detect mold with these tests if the mold is not visible, since there was no visible mold in the area he tested and he assured me that the tests would indicate that there was mold even if the mold was not visible. I contacted 24 H Mold Inspection as soon as we uncovered the mold during this renovation and I spoke with a supervisor, Karen. She was dismissive and without even seeing pictures told me that what we found must have been mildew because there is no way their testing would have not detected it if it was truly mold. She said that they would be willing to work with me on a refund only if I tested the area and confirmed that it was mold with that additional testing. I followed these instructions, spent an additional $300 on mold testing with another company. The results came back positive for mold and I contacted Karen again. She then said there was no way that a test could have told us that there was mold in that area if the mold was not visible. There was not any visible mold in this house, they knew that and I knew that prior to testing. Why would they encourage anyone to spend $2,500 on testing in a house with no visible mold if the testing is only accurate if you can see the mold? Unfortunately as we have continued to renovate this kitchen we have uncovered even more mold. This has been an absolute nightmare. My experience with this company has been horrible. The lack of care they have for their customers health and wellbeing is upsetting and even worse, the lack of accountability for inaccurate testing. First thing I'd like to say is don't believe a single word on here from a positive review, they give you a "discount" for leaving a positive one. I am coming back and updating my review after receiving my test results back and all I can say is these people are sharks. I should've know when we were talking about the pricing of Inspection and how shady it was. It started by saying he could give us a full home Inspection for $1000 then when we asked if we could finance it jumped to $1500. The guy did a terrible job at explaining how the financing worked since it ran through a 3rd party and was presented as a loan. We ended up paying $1750 for the inspection and when I questioned the price they told us that we could try to run through the application again but it would most likely get denied since we just got approved for a different amount. They really prey on your worrying and use fear mongering to make you think you have to get something done right then and there. Our technician Kiano told us "your room looks bad" and "the kids room is the worst in the house" essentially word for word. When we received our reports everything was completely fine and there was no issues. They got paid and we got screwed would not recommend at all. Save your money read more

What a horrific experience from start to finish. The guy who answered the phone when I called to ask questions about the process is rude, cuts you off, short tempered and offered the worst customer service. In a desperate attempt for answers, I scheduled a visit with a tech. Kiano, arrived 40 mins late. No call or voicemail. He arrived and rushed me through the inspection, spoke a million miles an hour, told me everything was "concerning" but couldn't give me any suggestions or options other than purchasing the FOUR HUNDRED AND FIFTY DOLLAR test they offer. This is per room mind you. As I stood there crying because my daughter is suffering from eczema and I'm trying to make a decision, he kept pressuring me. I told him I need to speak with my husband before spending that kind of money and he rudely said "well, call him." I feel like he was a shiesty snake oil salesman - mainly because as I was crying, he said "well... how much are you willing to pay for the testing.. " So, you're telling me the test he recommended was actually a less expensive price but this company is going to hike up their prices on the front end? Unacceptable. When I told him I felt extremely uncomfortable with a company doing this, he rushed out of my house. I can't believe in a moment when a parent is the most vulnerable and desperate, a company would prey on the customer in this way. Absolutely disgusting. ****This is addressed to the owner, whom responded to my review: The fact that your technician lied to you about being recorded just proves my point. I was on FaceTime with my father to make sure I had a second person hearing the inspection so I was able to properly make a decision. You were not there to vouch for your employee who clearly isn't going to take accountability for his actions. He did in fact pressure me. He did in fact allude to a discount, but why was that only offered once I was in tears? Why isn't that discounted rate the rate offered right out of the gate? My husband is a firefighter and I explained to the technician that I can't just call him while he's at work. He was exceptionally rude after that. And the reason he "waived" the inspection fee is because he argued with me while I tried to explain how emotional and sensitive this situation is while having a sick child and I called him out for his unprofessional behavior. I have the front door ring camera footage if you would like to audit your technicians lack of customer service skills. Insinuating that I am not representing the encounter accurately is not only offensive but shows that you do not value the customer. Your response aides my 1 star review. Despicable. read more

It's taken me a bit to process the encounter. The man who came and did the inspection did not show up on time the first time and we had to be rescheduled. He shows up at the correct time the second time, but rushed through the process. He comes in and used a moisture meter everywhere without explaining much, everything was very urgent for him. In the end he recommended three tests and offered a discount incentive for leaving a positive review. The guy insisted I write the review before he left, which I did not, and when it became clear I wouldn't he stormed out of my house. They asked me to pay the invoice for the inspection, which states there would be pictures and an explanation, which there was not. But by paying the invoice (which I did not at the time since I felt rushed and panicked) you agree that the work was done. Looking back on this in a more calm state, I would not have agreed to pay the invoice as the described service was not completed. I would not recommend this company and experience to anyone. When doing these tests, you want someone who will take the time to explain things to you and not add on stress and panic. You want someone reliable, which this company was not. read more
