They help you in your worst time. But Dispatch had said the technician would take 30-45 minutes. It took 1 hour 45 mins instead. Dispatch said it would cost $85-120 to open the door. Of course the tech charged the maximum even though the lock was relatively simple to open. Would not recommend as there are other locksmiths out there. read more

Not happy with these people. they came out to see if my Baldwin entry lock was repairable, which it was. Ace, the service man, quoted me a ballpark price. I thought it was high but since I couldn't open the door, I said "Do it". Ace said it would take several hours to take it back to the store, repair, and come back. the store is in the valley and we are in Brentwood. 45 mins. later he returns and installs it. $380 ! super high, price I feel was based on my address. Later that day the inside handle was loose, so I called Ace . He said it was fine when he left and I should get a special wrench and I should do it, he was too busy to come back. He never called afterwards to see if it was fixed. It was striped and I'm not able to fix it myself. read more

Despite all the 5 stars and good reviews, please pay attention to the 1 star reviews. The same thing that happened to them, happened to me as well. I was quoted $80-$120 on the phone but charges quickly racked up as he arrived. There were hidden fees and it quickly racked up to $484... he went on about 1 of the locks being harder etc etc. but the entire thing took 2 minutes. The same tactics have been used on other people and the 1 star reviews from multiple people with the same experience proves that. Incredibly suspicious of this business and will not be requesting their service ever again. Did not feel good about this service request at all. read more

He came and did the job in less than 5 minutes and he was very personable ! I have no complaints about the service itself. I lost my one and only car key FOB while at an event. My car was parked at a meter so I felt a sense of urgency to move it for fear of tickets/towing. I called 25/7 and spoke to a dispatcher who answered all my questions including an approximate cost for the service ($250-300). I asked if they accepted credit cards and was told yes - credit, debit and Venmo would be acceptable. The technician (Ben) made it out within an hour, got my car open and spent about 7-8 minutes programming the key which worked perfectly. He told me the total would be $300 which seemed a little high for such a quick service but it was within the range I'd been quoted so I was ok with it. He explained to me that I should really have a second key so I asked him how much that would be and he quoted $250. Uh - no thanks. You'd assume there would be a discount considering he was already there . While preparing the receipt he said he wouldn't charge me for unlocking the car which I figured was his way of fishing for a tip but was annoying because it would've been kind of ridiculous for him to do that. I handed him my credit card and he tells me that there is a 10% surcharge for credit cards (!). Wow - not cool since I'd specifically asked about using credit cards as payment and there was no mention of a surcharge. No tip for Ben! So I am not giving 25/7 only 1 star because the service was quick and efficient but the pushy "upselling" was pretty annoying and unexpected. UPDATED After I posted my review this morning I got a call from the owner, Tom. He apologized for my negative experience and thanked me for posting my review. He was unaware that the technician had charged me a surcharge and was upset that this had happened. Tom adjusted the total fee and has issued a refund. Such completely awesome, friendly, and fast service. I arrived at a residence from which I am moving from to find that someone had broken off a piece of wire into my lock whilst attempting to pick it to gain access to my apartment. In the meantime the movers had arrived; I'm literally paying them by the hour. Within 20 minutes 25/7 Locksmith had someone there who had the lock clear, working, and functional in under 2 minutes. I was with a woman in a parking lot who had accidentally shut her keys in her trunk, with her phone in the car, so I stayed with her so we could use my phone to find her a locksmith. She called two locksmiths initially... one didn't show up after she waited the estimated 30 minutes (and she confirmed with them on the phone that they wouldn't be coming, and then the second one cancelled with her after agreeing to come out. I found 25/7 on Yelp and called... they had someone out not more than maybe 15 minutes later, he was able to get into the car in less than a minute, and it seriously couldn't have been a more smooth process. And then when the technician arrived (an hour and 15 mnutes afte rmy call when they said it would be 15-20 minutes) he asked for $485 to open up the locked doorknob on our bedroom door. It was the kind of doorknob that usually goes on an external door and he said he couldn't rekey it so he'd have to drill. $300 for opening and then a $185 drill fee. My parents door wouldn't open with their key and 25/7 sent a locksmith out in 10 minutes! Fast response time. Technician offered us some options for fixing it, which included only using the dead bolt to save money. Honest and reasonable with senior citizens which was refreshing! Carried my dad's wheelchair up the steps for us without us asking. Picked up the mail in the floor and handed it to my mom so she didn't have to bend over. Very thoughtful! We ended up replacing the doorknob and getting it retrofitted to use our current keys and they they only charged us for that and not the additional fee for unlocking the door. No price gouging! NOTE: this is a review about their prices not their service. The technician who came out was very professional, nice and efficient. I called their service this morning and they quoted me $80ish for a simple lock to $120 for the most difficult locks. I had locked myself out using a simple turn button door knob lock. Not a deadbolt or anything else more "secure". They quoted me on the less expensive side since it was a simpler lock. The technician arrived and said because of the brand of the lock (a Shlage) that it would be the full $120 because those are more difficult to unlock. He then proceeded to unlock my front door in 20 seconds. All in all the process took 5 minutes from time of arrival to payment and departure. But I am extremely frustrated by the quote structure and would not use them again because of this. read more
