They said no and encouraged me to come in. I arrived and didn't even get a hello. They were so rude and didn't speak a lick of English. On top of that, the salon was so ghetto. There were no nail polish shelves and the atmosphere was so generic and not relaxing at all. The man did a terrible job on my shellac and got mad at me because the polish had caught the edge of the light and barely smudged my nail. It looked like a kindergartener painted my nails. Maybe the other lady would have done a better job, but I was so embarrassed of my nail color I took it off. Waste of time and a serious disappointment. I'll wait to go to X nails in Covington next time, even if it means waiting 30 minutes or waiting a full day for a quality shellac and good conversation.

She proceeds to yell in the store and talk in her language she tells me she doesn't want to do my manicure which is unprofessional because it was her mistake and ANDY does my manicure after the person he was working with, I told Andy my feet are bubblegum base color and he proceeds with the colors he choose after shows him my inspo picture. Andy did my nails very bubbly and big, and rushed. I will never go back, and I hope I'm able to dispute this charge!!! At the end I ended up paying $130 this is crazy! I'm sticking with nail techs! They charged me $35 for a manicure, and by the next day, several have cracked snd peeled. I removed the polish and gently reapplied polish, using healthier nail products in an effort to heal the additional damage they did with their rough treatment and thinly applied inferior nail polish product.

My hair is always done well and rarely have I left not happy and given the 12 years, that's saying a lot. The nail tech Jenise Ashley is the best. I love the way she does my nails and I love chatting with her. She is a major asset there but (and this is part of why this is 4 instead of 5), I think she's very underutilized. It can be hard to book hair and nails on the same day. I am an oddball because I don't like doing this stuff so when I do it, I prefer one and done! :) I am really glad the endless country music has stopped because it was really such noise pollution for me, I stopped coming in for awhile. I just can't listen to it for that long. I don't even know that the stylists liked it! Another reason for 4 out of 5-the pricing is a touch higher than is reasonable. I can and do pay it because I really like my stylist and Jenise, but the pricing could be off-putting to others. I've seen coupons for new customers out. This always irks me as a long time customer--why not some kind of loyalty program? It doesn't have to be complicated at all. I like things simple. Overall, the receptionist is friendly and will work to get you in even when you're forgetful like I tend to be sometimes. The stylists (mine is Shaney) and Jenise are wonderful. Since I already had an appointment I thought I would give the new woman a try. Unfortunately she fell very short from what I was used to. Probably one of the worst Services I've ever had done as far as my nails are concerned. Very disappointed and saddened that Lily will not be there anymore. I now have to find a new place to go. I would not recommend.
