Little store option with unique treats to try!
    Jessica E.

I've been driving through the town square of East Troy since I was born to visit my grandparents. This is the first time I've ever had the opportunity to stop in on 2894 On Main Cafe, and it was WELL worth it. This is a sweet little spot in town; the atmosphere is relaxing yet vibrant - even for a small town. It feels like the perfect place to meet folks from near and far who happen in for a good coffee and breakfast. The folks are great, the coffee and pastries are amazing, and you'd be a fool (honestly) not to revisit. It's all a bit (admittedly) unexpected for a small town like East Troy - it's upscale, something you might expect in the Third Ward in Milwaukee, but it's right here, ready to welcome you whether you're a local or on your way to a Wisconsin adventure. So glad I finally got to make a visit here!

First visit. Stone creek coffee being served. Smooth and tasty. I was very surprised. Not expecting to be so good. Hip interior. Offers gifts and produce.

Cutest little cafe in the heart of East Troy. They have a small section of fresh produce, as well as shelves filled with local made goodies. They have a full menu - breakfast and lunch. We just ordered coffees and a chocolate chip cookie. It was one of the best cookies I've ever had. Latte was seasonal and it was a little weird but I think that's just a "me" thing. I'd love to go back and try some of their actual food. From what I could see, it looked really good.

Went out to East Troy and decided to stop for a late breakfast. Cute little area where this restaurant is. Quite a few interesting places all in this one spot. When you first walk in you head towards the back to place your order at the counter, which is kind of nice instead of having to wait for a waitress to come to your table especially if it's busy like it was today. We ordered the breakfast burrito, sausage & egg sandwich, and a pumpkin cream cold brew. Kind of crazy that it came to $31 dollars when you don't get any kind of sides with your meal, not even toast. It took a bit for the food to come but like stated above, it was busy. The food and coffee were good, I'd order both again if I were in the area. Cool place and spot to check out that's only about a 20 minute drive from where I'm at.

A cute little cafe and grocery store situated in the small downtown of East Troy, Wisconsin, 2894 On Main is a great spot to stop in for some coffee. They have a great menu with a variety of drink options and baked goods, and they even have cool flavors like lavender (trust me, this is a great addition to any drink). The grocery side used to be stocked to full but because of the time we are in it's more limited; there's still a nice selection of common groceries to choose from, though. The manager, Alyssa, was so kind, enthusiastic, and welcoming, and Sarah, the barista who made the latte, is a talented latte artist. Thank you ladies, for the hospitality and beautiful artwork :)

After walking past this place for years, I came in for breakfast with my family this past weekend. This cafe is adorable and also has a spot where you can get fresh produce and panty items such as hot sauces and salsas. The menu is somewhat limited but our food was all great. Three of us got the ACE Breakfast Sandwich and one of us got the Veggie Hash. The only thing that I was disappointed about was the piece of fruit on my plate. It was honestly pretty comical. We couldn't tell if it was meant to be just a garnish or an actual side of fruit, but we got a kick out of it. We'll definitely be coming back for a light bite to eat!

They sell other merchandise at/near the counter. It's a bit cluttered (IMHO). There are lots of regulars that show up here. On most Fridays, during lunch there is a musician playing guitar, and taking requests. It's a relaxing and joyful atmosphere. They offer lots of different lattes, teas, and baked goods. They also make soups and sandwiches. On this day I ordered my usual London Fog (little vanilla, little lavender, and extra foam). I wasn't going to get anything to eat, but they had some freshly baked cinnamon rolls on the counter. The smell was irresistible, so I also got one of those. Both the latte and the roll were excellent. The cinnamon roll was slathered with cream cheese frosting. Yummy, but way to much for me. It's a nice place, with friendly people, and good food offerings.

Coffee is now ubiquitous with daily life in America, which brings me to Qamaria Coffee. Hatem and Munif are two Yemeni entrepreneurs with a passion for Yemeni Coffee and the joint goal of wanting to share it with the world. They founded Qamaria Coffee in 2019 to accomplish this task and in January 2024, they opened a location near Milwaukee in Greenfield, WI. Qamaria offers a variety of dessert options, including a Chocolate Tres Leches, Pistachio Tres Leches, and Caramel Tres Leches cakes. I went with the caramel version, which is described by the cafe as "A decadent caramel treat inspired by tres leches cake, creamy, sweet, and irresistibly smooth". If you've never had Tres Leches Cake, it's a light sponge cake soaked in three types of milk (evaporated, condensed, and whole) that's popular in Latin America. The cake originated in Nicaragua during the 19th century, so on first glance it's not exactly a Yemeni dessert. Doing some research, Middle Eastern variations exist that feature cardamom or rose water and some Qamaria locations do have a Rose Tres Leches. It's fine that the Greenfield location did not have that variety as I honestly would have got the caramel version anyway. My slice was perfectly moist as there was plenty of milk soaked in, but not so much that it made a mess or compromised the structure of the cake. The bottom layer was soft and Tiramisu-like in texture, while the cream on top was rich and thick. Personally, I found the caramel flavor to be mild, but delicious. As it is served chilled, it paired nicely with a hot cup of coffee (which they have a plethora of options to choose from). Doughboy approved Doughboy_Food_Reviews

There was a short line, but even still a very friendly employee made her way over to us to take our order on a mobile device to help 'skip the line.' She was very helpful in explaining some of their not-so-obvious menu items, like their different moon sizes: half moon, full moon, quarter moon. Essentially it's their way of identifying the sweetness desired in certain drinks. I went with their Blue Moon Latte (which is lavender flavored) and it comes 1/4 moon, aka subtly sweet with moon milk cold foam. In addition to coffee drinks, we got a slice of banana bread for our little guys and some kind of strawberry refresher drink. Both yummy treats. We'll look out for other locations to visit in the future!

Food: Normally, I would get a London Fog Latte and a scone. They have both items, but because of their focus on healthy, organic, and local ingredients, I had to adjust my order and expectations. The London Fog Latte was made with oat milk and honey as the sweetener. The scones (and the rest of the bakery) are gluten-free. Both of these were different from what I would normally have, but they were very good. The London Fog was really well made. For oat milk, it had some very nice froth. The flavor and the temperature were good. The Pecan Maple Scone was also good. Like many gluten-free baked goods, it was more dense. They warmed it for me, and it was a delicious treat and a nice companion to the latte. Service: We received excellent service from the person helping us. We were the first ones there when they opened at 9:00. She was very helpful in explaining the café offerings and was clearly passionate about the mission. The London Fog is not on the regular menu, but they knew what it was and were happy to make it. They ensured we got everything we asked for: lattes in mugs, bakery items warmed, and food brought out to the table. Relaxed, helpful, and friendly service. Thanks, Elizabeth. Atmosphere: The place is bright and cheerful. The bee theme is present throughout the entire café, from the wall coverings to the small plates for beverages. Lots of nice light comes in through the front windows. There is plenty of seating for different-sized groups, with a choice of metal or upholstered chairs, or a couch for different levels of comfort and conversation. The entire visit had a nice vibe.
