Have been here several times over the last five years. It has always been good, and this last visit was no exception. It is located on the square in downtown East Troy. It is one of the vintage-looking buildings, painted blue with green striped awnings. It has great curb appeal and feels very welcoming. There are outside café tables and plenty of seating inside for different size groups. Not only are they a coffee house, but they serve a wide-ranging menu of foods, and there are grocery items you can purchase, including dairy, eggs, and meats. They also carry many other items that make great gifts. I got a very friendly greeting from the cashier. I ordered a London Fog Tea Latte (little lavender, little vanilla, and extra foam) in a mug. The blueberry scones looked amazing, so I got one of those as well. They make all their bakery on-site. Everything was excellent, with lots of microbubbles in the latte. Plenty of blueberries in the scone, and it had the right texture (dry and a little crumbly). I forgot to bring my book along, but they have a very eclectic selection, so I was able to peruse some titles I had not seen before. Overall, another great experience. I've been driving through the town square of East Troy since I was born to visit my grandparents. This is the first time I've ever had the opportunity to stop in on 2894 On Main Cafe, and it was WELL worth it. This is a sweet little spot in town; the atmosphere is relaxing yet vibrant - even for a small town. It feels like the perfect place to meet folks from near and far who happen in for a good coffee and breakfast. The folks are great, the coffee and pastries are amazing, and you'd be a fool (honestly) not to revisit. It's all a bit (admittedly) unexpected for a small town like East Troy - it's upscale, something you might expect in the Third Ward in Milwaukee, but it's right here, ready to welcome you whether you're a local or on your way to a Wisconsin adventure. Cutest little cafe in the heart of East Troy. They have a small section of fresh produce, as well as shelves filled with local made goodies. They have a full menu - breakfast and lunch. We just ordered coffees and a chocolate chip cookie. It was one of the best cookies I've ever had. Latte was seasonal and it was a little weird but I think that's just a "me" thing. I'd love to go back and try some of their actual food. From what I could see, it looked really good. read more

Went out to East Troy and decided to stop for a late breakfast. Cute little area where this restaurant is. Quite a few interesting places all in this one spot. When you first walk in you head towards the back to place your order at the counter, which is kind of nice instead of having to wait for a waitress to come to your table especially if it's busy like it was today. We ordered the breakfast burrito, sausage & egg sandwich, and a pumpkin cream cold brew. Kind of crazy that it came to $31 dollars when you don't get any kind of sides with your meal, not even toast. It took a bit for the food to come but like stated above, it was busy. The food and coffee were good, I'd order both again if I were in the area. Cool place and spot to check out that's only about a 20 minute drive from where I'm at. read more

A cute little cafe and grocery store situated in the small downtown of East Troy, Wisconsin, 2894 On Main is a great spot to stop in for some coffee. They have a great menu with a variety of drink options and baked goods, and they even have cool flavors like lavender (trust me, this is a great addition to any drink). The grocery side used to be stocked to full but because of the time we are in it's more limited; there's still a nice selection of common groceries to choose from, though. The manager, Alyssa, was so kind, enthusiastic, and welcoming, and Sarah, the barista who made the latte, is a talented latte artist. Pretty good cafe. Drinks are good, and food is fine. For some reason, they are very stingy with the food here. I ordered a chicken wrap here a few weeks ago, and only 10% of the wrap had chicken, the rest was lettuce and onions. The wrap was fine, but why are you guys so stingy? The prices are on the higher side, too. I still can't get over this wrap. It was like $16 + tip, it was basically just a salad but wrapped. After walking past this place for years, I came in for breakfast with my family this past weekend. This cafe is adorable and also has a spot where you can get fresh produce and panty items such as hot sauces and salsas. The menu is somewhat limited but our food was all great. Three of us got the ACE Breakfast Sandwich and one of us got the Veggie Hash. The only thing that I was disappointed about was the piece of fruit on my plate. It was honestly pretty comical. We couldn't tell if it was meant to be just a garnish or an actual side of fruit, but we got a kick out of it. We'll definitely be coming back for a light bite to eat! read more

I really love this organic coffee shop, I had a chocolate strawberry machiatto with oat milk from the Valentine's Day coffee menu, it was really delicious. My son had a pumpkin bread slice that he really liked also. They sell soup, sandwiches, and other food items here. I really want to try the Korean bbq bowl, granola bowl and huevos rancheros in the future. They sell unique food items here too such as barbecue sauce, honey, organic milk, some produce etc. I love that this place is organic, it looks really cute inside also. I had one of the worst meals ever from here. I ordered the vegetable Hash. It came in a bowl full of oil. I was unable to eat it. It was just sitting in oil. I gave 2 stars because the couple of bites I took did taste good. It was just so saturated in oil that made it inedible. A person I was with ordered the quiche. She had to return it because it was so overcooked that the crust was dark brown as was the top of the quiche. They brought her a new one, and it looked exactly the same. Again, it was inedible. Another woman in our group ordered the vegetable hash too.... she didn't eat hers either. She ordered a cup of soup after boxing it up because she was hungry. We had a good size group and many were very happy with their meals. But the bad ones were REALLY bad. read more

Ok I've eaten here for the past several years when ever I was out here riding my motorcycle visiting from Milwaukee. Never really had any complaints and I've always looked forward to having a good meal, but unfortunately on Friday October 21 2022 something had changed. I ordered a bacon burger and salad on side thinking the burger would fill me up on my ride back to Milwaukee but was very disappointed when my burger showed up at the table. Honestly it looked like a mini slider where you could easily eat 3 or 4 of them. The burger was about the size of a half dollar and it came with two measly looking pieces of bacon and some melted cheese that looked runny and sparse along with it. The bun was easily three times the size of the burger in height. Not being able to eat the bun due to my food allergies the small size of the burger was more evident when the bun was taken away. I asked the waitress what happened to the size of the burgers as this did not seem like the ones I was used to eating there and she sheepishly replied she didn't know . I also mentioned to the chef as I was leaving how disappointing the burger was and she didn't seem to care very much about it . Honestly for paying 14. For that lousy scrawny burger I will never order that again or eat elsewhere if they're trying to scrimp on their portions that's the wrong decision . Although my friend had the bacon lettuce tomato with avocado on toast and that looked more fulfilling to my eyes . Service was adequate and the environment is what I like most about the cafe but I am now more motivated to look elsewhere to get a more substantial burger next time I am in East Troy from now on. read more

This is my favorite spot in town! It's a very trendy, cute cafe with specialty groceries but the food was surprisingly delicious. I ordered the chorizo breakfast burrito and it was a perfect combination of hearty, tasty sauces, and slightly crispy on the outside. Its not a sit down restaurant so you save a bit on the tip as well. East Troy has had troubles keeping their restaurants open for a long time so I am so happy that this is an option when I am in town. This cafe is also kid friendly with a bin of books so the entire family can enjoy. Their food is prepared with locally grown ingredients. Not sure if my kids will eat the food but they do have plenty of breakfast pancake and waffle options as well. Can't wait to try it again!! read more

A beautiful hidden gem near the Wisconsin border. They make truly fresh meals with great ingredients. The ambiance gives you space while still definitely being part of the community that is the people at the restaurant. Their specialty coffees hit the spot as well. My favorite place in the square by far! I come at least once every other weekend and have watched it gradually become more and more popular. Definitely not a hidden gem any more! This place used to be so good and we were so incredibly disappointed over the weekend. Our food was okay even though it used to be really good. The young lady making cappuccinos argued with us when we asked for actual expresso in our cappuccino because it was 95% milk in a large cup. If I wanted a cup of milk I would have asked for a cup of milk. She very snottily told us that a cappuccino and a latte are the exact same thing and that she floats the milk to make it a cappuccino. I don't know what this girl's talking about but somebody needs to teach her how to make a cappuccino. I feel the most disappointing part of this restaurant was a young man threw up at the next table multiple times. The family members did a half-assed decent job of cleaning it up, but not a single member from the restaurant came to help. 45 minutes later when they cleaned off the table, I reminded the lady cleaning the table that a young man had barfed all over everything and it probably should be sterilized, she shot me a dirty look, cleaned it with a wet rag and left it for the next people. The nice family that went to sit down, I told them what had happened because I didn't want them sitting at a table that had been puked on and not sterilized, I was absolutely disgusted and I will never set foot in this place again. read more

Excellent find! In town from Minneapolis for my Cousin's wedding and was delighted to find this spot for breakfast. Prices are in-line for organic, from scratch food. I had the Huevos Rancheros ($11) and a pint of latte with almond milk. Breakfast came with a light cucumber salad and two slices of perfectly ripe peaches. Delish! In addition to eating you can also shop for harder to find organic items, pantry, fridge, frozen organic chickens, and current fresh veg. Further shopping includes books in line with healthy eating lifestyle as well as journals, jars, gardening, etc. It also looks to serve as a community gathering spot for the likes of the Computer Club and others. This Is the first time I was there, we had to wait 20 min for our meal. Then I finally went up and asked where our food was and turns out it had been sitting on the counter for 10 min. We ordered a burger for $14 and opened it up to see that 2/3 of the meal was a salad and a very small burger. There was also a squished fly on the box although NOT on the food. This isn't really a coffee shop or a cafe or a market.. it's kind of all three in one. When you first walk in it's hard to know where to start as well as find the menus... the Coffee menus are in a weird location above the line and the food menu is a small menu on the end. Not to mention there's like a marketplace going on one half and a coffee shop on the other. From what I can tell the food looked decent but I didn't purchase any. The Coffee is Stonebrook Coffee Roasters so if you don't like that brand I'd stay away. I really enjoyed the aesthetics of the place with all the wood. There is a medium amount of seating but gets full easy. Everyone that works there seems friendly. I think the coffee was subpar. They could definitely work on their ratios for the black coffee as well as focusing on the flavor of their lattes and not just the art. It's one thing if your latte looks cool, it's another if it tastes good also. Theirs wasn't that great. The art was okay and the flavor was meh. They have an almost to wide variety of baked goods as well as the menu seems a bit overwhelming. I gave this a 3 Star because they need to focus on the small things before adding other things. Especially the coffee and seating. I don't really know if all of the stuff sold in there is worth losing all that seating space for.. it's a good one time visit but I don't know if I would be a regular there. read more
