We called Olivia after speaking with many caterers about about approach, cuisine and budget, and we were honestly getting a bit defeated. My first conversation with Olivia was so incredibly refreshing in that I told her we are trying to decide between tacos or barbeque and she responded with a very effortless, "why choose?". This immediately put me at ease as we started to brainstorm together. All other caterers were now subpar. She crafted a beautiful menu for us that included mini (single-bite) sized tacos as part of the hors d'oeuvres and an upscale barbeque with hometown roots for the entree. Our guests have not stopped RAVING about our food (strong accolades for the BBQ still rolling in from our Texas and Tennessee-native guests, so you know it was great!). We received a truly personalized experience with Olivia. She even stepped in to work with us directly when we had questions and get saleswoman was unavailable! From the first conversation through the tasting and our wedding, Olivia was one of our top vendors. Her saleswoman, Christina, was excellent at offering advice and ideas as well as suggestions from other events they'd catered (either at 501 or otherwise). On staff, Olivia also has a food design team member who created the most instagram-worthy displays! Definitely an added bonus. Would 10/10 use and recommend Olivia!

    This review has been long over due…read more Intro My husband and I are big fans of Chef Kelvin, so much that when he has a private pop up event we are there. He's cooking at a restaurant we show up, he's selling coquito and his famous arepas, we are buying. He cooks for you at home for a private event we hire him. We even followed his recipes when he posted them on social media and his YouTube channel. As you can see we are big fan of his work. Private Event In June 2022, we hired him to cook for my 40th birthday. Everything we expected out of his work that night, he delivered plus more. I was 36 weeks pregnant at that time as well and everything he made was to die for. The great thing about him cooking for you for a private event is that you pick out what you want from his menu and he has various options to select from. Him and his team cleanup afterwards and you wouldn't even know they were there. Our choices from his Spring/Summer menu was the following: Peach salad, his award winning arepas, lobster rolls, chicken cordon bleu, salmon, filet mignon, with 3 sides: potatoes, squash & zucchini's and coconut rice. oh and croissant & maple glazed doughnut pudding. Nine months later my family and friends can't stop talking about that night. 2022 Valentine's Day Pop-Up This was our second Valentine's Day pop-up we attended from the Chef, this time he incorporated his Italian dining experience from his European trip last year and combined it with his traditional dishes and made it his own. Each dish had a touch of Italy and I loved every bite. from the red wine beurre blanc sauce on the filet mignon, pesto rigatoni and the vanilla panna cotta dessert. Our first Valentine's Day Pop-up was right before the world shut down in February 2019. We met a lovely couple at our table and we are friends with them ever since. Both pop ups included cocktails perfectly paired with all individual dishes and what a way to celebrate love with his beautiful wife Chachi singing in the background. Just like his food and drinks that night Chef Kelvin and Chachi were the perfect pair.

Jason is actually a classmate of mine from my hometown in New Jersey. I've followed him lightly on social media platforms through his culinary journey from birth of his unfathomable determination and skill to break out on his own - a self taught Chef running a full service catering company. Encompassing Private and Personal dining experiences in the luxury of your private home or event space, Chef Jason brings not only his complete professionalism, but also a mind blowing culinary exploration of perfectly balanced ingredients that not only touch each of your five senses, but envokes a feeling of complete bliss. Each dish is thought out with culinary precision and executed beautifully. You can taste each ingredient as it rolls around your mouth and tongue. Balanced with the simplicity of what brought this dish to concept. This culinary journey his menu takes you on is unreal. I have never worked for or with a more talented Chef, who's personal energy is calm and humble, and confident not cocky. We had a dinner party to celebrate a birthday and a divorce with 9 close friends. Chef Jason, his Sous Chef June, and our lovely servers Karl and Cara really made this evening special. Everything flowed seamlessly. Any anxiety I had walked out the door as soon as this team went to work. It was a quiet calm and focused energy. They also didn't mind me being in the kitchen watching and tasting and asking a million questions. I can not recommend enough Jason's Kitchen for your next event. Exceptional!
