I bought my CX-5 new here in 2016. Joel in the service department has always been so nice and helpful. I feel like they truly care about me and the car. My mazda has 160k miles on it now and still runs great, I've only ever had to do basic routine repairs and maintenance on it. I'm very happy with the car and the service I've received and would recommend this dealership to my friends and family!

    Mazda CX-5 Liftgate Switch

Another review of a college kid getting taken advantage of. My daughter who's a college student at CSU brought her CX-5 to 2Mazda for an inoperable lift gate. They quoted her $311.95 to clean the wiring harness connection and switch because of purported corrosion which she approved. When that didn't work the service advisor recommended a new rear liftgate wiring harness and switch and quoted a repair estimate of $688.86 which she declined. A month later after she drove home for the summer, I purchased a new switch from Mazda online for $34 and installed the switch, taking about an hour. The wiring harness looked brand new with no evidence of corrosion. When I called and talked to the service advisor for clarification, he was evasive and had no answer when I asked if the tech had simply checked the wiring harness and plastic connector with a multimeter. After an unsatisfactory explanation of what "reconditioning all terminations" meant, he ended the conversation by telling me his manager would call me the next day to discuss my concerns. That call never came. To summarize, the total bill would have come to $1,000 for what ended up being a $34 part and an hour of labor on my end and I'm no mechanic. This service department is unethical and not to be trusted.

I had just about given up on locating one that was not damaged. On Wednesday evening I stumbled across an online add from Crossroads Hyundai with the vehicle I was looking for with everything that I was wanting and at a fair price. On Thursday morning I made the trip from Denver to Loveland to see it in person. I was pleasantly surprised to find that there was no previous damage. My salesman ( Merick, ) was awesome. I was in the dealership a total of about 90 minutes. I drove my new car home at the end of the 90 minutes. I would recommend Crossroads Hyundai and Merich Parr as a salesman to anyone in the market for a new vehicle.

But as soon as we decided on the car, the typical car dealership nonsense started. Adding things to the cost, trying to get us to finance when I had cash ready to buy outright, etc. We were made to wait for over 3 hours to sign paperwork and when we finally got it all signed, I found they had lied and overcharged us for the fees. I asked for a refund of the fees and 8 weeks later, still haven't received a refund. I would AVOID this place. There are plenty of other options.

When we were $1k apart on…read morenegotiations the salesperson.. oh sorry I mean "Client Advisor" (haha) asked me if I was going to give up the deal over $X/month. And, when it was clear that I was... They started going through how the price they advertised on the internet was already such a huge loss for them (then why advertise to everyone a price like that?) and how this crazy price they had agreed to do was such a "shock" for another manager (maybe that one doesn't have internet access? Not sure). But, this "shocked" manager was willing to add $500 more off of the price to close it anyway. I mean if $X/month is no issue for me, why is it such an issue on their side? I guess I was hoping for a more refined experience being a BMW dealership but it was the same old playbook. Needless to say we never came to an agreement. But, the way the salesperson left it felt like they wanted to sever the business relationship and that's my biggest complaint. Like if you can't do the price say something professional, and keep the relationship open for future business. That's how you do business (or at least that's how I think a business should do things).

However my front end left side is coming off. Have spent months trying to get this resolved, Greg Johnson has not resolved this even after having Caliber Collision estimate repair(I was told to get estimate from reputable repair shop. I am being blown off, and now I find out Greg Jonson is out for 2 weeks and never notified me. Our repair through USAA and the Loveland statement about their self inflated "customer service" is fabricated. The worst customer service I have received, and I do not live in Loveland I am closer to Colorado Springs-but the repair done on the road-had to take to nearest dealership. Based on this experience I have to say they have failed epically and I question wether service tech just blew me off and has not sent Caliber Collision estimate to "upper Management as claimed" I'm sick of this frickin' hassle and epic customer service failure-and physical repair a failure. Can't endorse Loveland to fix your Subaru-despite their self important claims of customer service.

Later wife noticed odd smell but thought it was from other vehicles' exhaust. (I have had sinus cancer & have no sense of smell...and am the primary driver around town.) Went out of town today with wife who again noticed smell. Got home and looked under at he hood to find oil all over the engine because apparently the oil cap hadn't been secured when oil was changed. Down a quart low. Called Loveland Subaru Service to tell them what happened...no apologies, no offer to clean engine, no offer of refund for botched oil change... nothing. They also failed to update the service sticker but have our receipt. Slipshod service. Of course, we were getting ready to go on vacation. Disappointed customer.
