What a joke of a place! I just learned that you can sell lightly used clothes. I had a bunch of stuff that my ex bought me, that I no longer fit since I lost weight. It ended up bein 21 items. 15 of them at least had tags still on them, never worn. Mostly, button down shirts, some joggers, sweater, etc. I walked in, the store itself looks pretty cool. The staff were an eclectic mix of personalities, they seemed like real cool people. I came back to get my "quote', and it was $0.40 ! The breakdown was 19 items at $0.02 and 2 at $0.01 ! Ha ! The guy who was helping me was super kind, I didnt get his name but even he was in shock! He was saying the owners really cut back on paying for clothes and said I should leave a review. You know a company is bad when the employees throw the owners under the bus. This is the kind of business that I would not want to support in anyway. I would have preferred if they said "We cant take any of these clothes, they arent our style, we cant resell them," etc. Than putting a penny as the price. That is just insulting and rude. I was browsing the aisles while my daughter shopped but there is no way I would pay these prices. I was looking at the t-shirts and they had an Anti Social Social Club shirt for $99. It's a black t-shirt with white lettering that's all and not the best material either. You can keep your designer stuff and I keep my pocket full of money. read more

I found this second hand store on Instagram and noticed that they buy and sell name brand items. I brought 5 pair of high end shoes to sell - in their original box, some boxes even had dust bags and original receipt of payment. I was offered nothing, stating that everything needed to be authenticated. I felt as thought I was racially profiled at this location. After telling me everything needed to be authenticated a rep included that I should try somewhere like wasteland. I won't step into a 2nd street ever again. read more

Did not know this store existed. Found it while I was waking back to my car. They babe some really cool vintage items in here. I bought an off brand purse for $9.00 that was super cute. Don't even bother trying to sell anything here. When I first asked about selling items a couple weeks back the worker told me that they would hold the item for at least an hour or so to research to give you a proper estimate and they'll text u when their done. I went in today to sell my Nike Air Force 1 all start swoosh pack, I've worn them maybe 5 times and he just looked at me , opened and closed a door and told me 40 bucks. I went to sell my designer goods to 2nd Street. They made me certain fairly low offers on my stuff. I conceded and agreed to the deal. They said to come back the next day for the money and gave me a receipt with a written payout amount on it. I come back the next day only to be told "Our manager wants to renegotiate, we can't pay that much." I took my stuff back and left. read more

I went today and it was such a bad experience and a huge waste of time. It smelled really bad in there all of the clothes they're selling are expensive and a rip off, some are even fake. I was also trying to tell my clothes which was all good brands and new with tags, waited 40mins and he took less than 2mins to take a look and said no right away, but he took 40mins to look at a white lady stuff in front of me. Definitely would not recommend this place. And I would trust a lot of the bad reviews of this place and on google reviews because it is all true. read more

My husband and I purchased here on Sunday afternoon. Unlike most of the negative reviews that were based on their customer service, we received the polar opposite. The encounter we had at the register with Sofia, Dakota and Gem, was a pleasant one! All three were very sweet. We spent a few extra minutes there engaging in conversation with them. I do however, feel that a lot their items are a bit over priced and you kind of have to get lucky (which I was) to find that special item(s) that are worth their price tag. I also agree that it is very warm in there and that the a/c needs to be cranked up a notch. All being said, I still plan to continue shopping here as long as I receive the same pleasant customer service that I did yesterday. read more

I sold here and the buyer was very friendly and the process was quick. They gave me a good amount for a vintage designer purse which I was happy with. However , they wanted to pay me 10 cents for other designer items that were purchased for over $100 each. I wasn't expecting to get $50 but $10 would be nice since they will sell it for $25. I was told that they will be "donating" all those items which I do not believe for a second. So I took it all back and will sell on Poshmark. Anyhow, I will only be selling bags here from now on. Bad selling experience! Came in with a HUGE bag of designer stuff (8 pairs of FRAME denim jeans and a bunch more expensive items). they offered me only $27 for everything. ABSOLUTE JOKE. I don't normally write reviews, but I had a terrible experience as a seller last week. Dropped off 3 BINS worth of clothes and bags. I had good brands in there (Nike, Gymshark, Fila, Nine West, Savage X Fenty, Wild Fable) that were all in "barely used" to "new" condition. All of it just totaled up to $34 cash???But they sell clothes for at least $5 (even with stains on it), so it really does not add up that I only received $34 for 3 bins worth of goods. Honestly such a rip off when the cashier told me my total, but I did not want to have to repack my stuff into my bags after they've already put it in 3 separate bins, and then make separate trips to bring them all into my car... so I hesitantly just took the $34. I usually sell at Crossroads and they would take like 3 or 4 pieces and it would equal to the same amount that 2nd Street gave me for, again, 3 BINS worth of good brands. I wanted to give this place a chance to sell, but NOT WORTH IT AT ALL. Either they were too lazy to go through what I had dropped off or they are just simply ripping me off. read more

Had a very good experience selling here. Their attitude towards the seller is respectful and curtious. Although, their price point is not high for buying back all you clothes and only giving you dollars on ones they can sell. I will bring my items here, because of the way they treated me. The other stores treat me like a dirty homeless person that just rolled up on them (i.e. Crossroads, etc.) Plus, 2nd Street keeps their store very clean and well organized. Good job. read more

My daughter and I had a blast shopping here and trying on the clothes. I agree with the smell from other yelper's reviews. The price ranges varies for $5 to whatever price (designer stuff). For $5, the quality is much nicer than forever 21/H&M. It is a quick and fun place to grab items you may only wear a few times. The condition of the items we bought were all good. read more

I've had good experiences buying (non-designer) clothing at an affordable price. Thought I'd give their buying a try. So so so much worse than Crossroads. They offered all my clothing at 0.10 or 0.20 each, despite having a number of mid range designer clothing. The excuse around the condition does not justify 0.10. I would literally rather donate them to goodwill and have it go to a good cause than to sell clothing for 0.10 knowing they will then sell it for $10-20. I will continue to buy from there. But do not waste your time selling. read more

If you are looking for a subpar selection of clothing and knock off designer bags - while being racially profiled then this is the store for you. Within our first moments of entry we received ZERO customer service - yet the security guard had no issue making me feel unbearably uncomfortable by cornering me in their extremely tight shopping isles. Not to mention I did not see a single preventative measure taken to ensure customer safety in regards to Covid. Incredibly disappointing. read more

I came to pick up a check for previously sold items and wanted to sell one more but I felt so uncomfortable I just left.
