If you are thinking about getting a golf club, no matter if it's a $20 putter for your kid or a $500 driver to up your game, this is the place to get it. Staff has unbelievable knowledge, and exceptionally rare customer service in today's market. Unfortunately a couple months after buying a driver from them, the shaft snapped right in half while I was at the driving range (oops!), but they couldn't care less. As soon as I walked in they helped me find The same shaft I was using and even replace it for free. Never buying a club anywhere else! I am so infuriated with 2nd Swing Golf Minnetonka. I took my golf clubs in on Sunday to have them cut down and regripped. We were told all they needed was 24 hours. They didn't take our name or phone number, just the bag of clubs. My husband goes in on Wednesday to pick them up and they can't find them! He sees the bag and points it out. Nothing had been done to them. He leaves his name a number and says we need to pick up the next day (Thursday) as we are going up north to golf. Thursday late afternoon we still had not received a call so I went to the store. AGAIN, they cannot find my clubs! I see them and point them out. They said they had been cut, but no grips had been put on. They can't find the grips we had purchased and asked if we had paid for any of the stuff! I call my husband to text me a copy of the receipt because the purchase was not part of our account in their system! They put grips on and I leave. When I get home my husband is looking at the clubs and I notice one is missing, my 5 iron! I leave a VM and send an Email. NO RESPONSE!!! We get up north to golf and I find my golf shoes are missing from my bag! I called the store and talked to the Manager, Brian. First of all, he DOES NOT APOLOGIZE! He takes the info and sats he will call back. Then I get a call from the kid who took our initial order, NOT with any info on where my items are or any RESOLUTION! He offered an Apology after I said that it really irritated me that the Manager didn't offer one. So I get a call back from the initial sales person and when I ask to speak to Russ who he kept referring to I am told he isn't available and then am accused of mis-placing the club and the shoes! That is the resolution offered. If my 5-iron AND my shoes were in the bag when it was turned over to YOUR store and they are MISSING when my bag is returned to me....HOW IS THIS MY FAULT? read more

Went in to the location to get two clubs fixed that were coming unglued. Stood in line at the counter for 20 mins and was not helped, even though multiple associates walked by. Watched whoever was helping the ones in front of me walk right by me to just stand and talk to someone. By using their website, I ordered their used Adams Speedline Draw Fairway 7 Wood/hybrid golf club. That is what they advertised, had pictured, and rated as an 80. I ordered the club Thursday morning - 12/1/16. That night I saw I received an email saying things are being processed. It arrived 12/7/16 by FedX. The service was excellent and the trade ins were much better than the competitors in town. Matt did a great fitting as part of my club purchase. Alex gave me a good deal on my trade ins. I had a fantastic experience at 2nd Swing!!! Roshan Ranasinghe was absolutely wonderful!!! He was very knowledgeable and also helpful with my club selection as well as club fitting. Also, he kept price in mind for me and always gave me different options in different price ranges so I always felt comfortable with my purchase. While we were trying out different clubs in the computer simulator he also gave me tips to help my swing and even helped straighten out my slice that I've been struggling with, basically a free golf lesson!!! My good experiences with 2nd Swing began with aputter fitting. Aaron was great. He took his time and had me try many new and used putters both before and after taking measurements and analyzing my putting setup and dynamics. I left with a custom fit, face-balanced putter that fit my eye and putting style. I keep careful track of my stats, and I've definitely improved in putts per round, 3-putt avoidance, and up-and-down percentages. I feel much more confident with this putter. I didn't have to change my stroke at all, but rather just get professionally fitted for the right putter . I'm very satisfied with the experience. A few months later I figured I'd try the same thing with a driver, in spite of the fact that I was driving the ball great and really happy with that part of my game. Still, you never know that there's not another 10 yards out there with a different stick, right? I took my R7 Limited in and had the guys look at my drive specs and then try to find a driver that worked better. I was ready to buy, but what they found was that I hit my current driver a little better than anything else. They sent me home without a sale, but nevertheless a very satisfied customer who knew he was dealing with some honest guys who didn't try to steer me away from a club that's working. I did later buy my first hybrid and a new fairway wood from this shop, and have been very happy with their patient fitting procedures and recommendations. When I'm ready for a new set of irons, I will be going back to the Minnetonka store for sure. I ended up talking to 6 different employees on my 2 visits to the Mtka 2nd swing and every single one was friendly and attentive. If they didn't know something, they were straight forward and let me know and then connected me to someone else. I was in on a Saturday both times which I'm sure are their busier times and I never felt disregarded. I did purchase a new set of irons and am quite happy with them. I didn't get to see how my numbers compared between the two sets of clubs I was testing while I was there and they ended up being pretty much dead even to each other from what I can see and they sold me on the more expensive set. I am happy with them, but it would have been nice to know that information as we went along. read more

DO NOT deal with these people... you'll regret it. I've been waiting 5 weeks for the return of a shaft that was paid for. It began with the purchase of a driver. I paid for a '9', but received a '7'. THAT in itself should have told me something. Countless phone calls have gone unanswered. Apparently, I'm getting the shaft instead receiving a shaft. As I feel I'll never get my property, my best recourse is to take to social media and warn others of this untrustworthy business Hopefully, people will heed my warning. Awesome experience! I came in with many different things I wanted to be changed in my set: putter, iron setting fitting, and driver. Travis was very patient and understanding with where my game is at as an amateur and fit my irons and putter to be what I was looking for and to also improve my game. Then I worked with Aaron for my driver who just with a few tips was able to add 30mph to my ball speed and on average up to 50 yard farther drives with the driver and adjustments he made. No joke. I was very happy with my experience and I can't recommend them enough. read more

I made an appointment with Brian Hills for a putter fitting after work and Brian spent much more than the estimated hour to find, and fit, the perfect putter for me. The Bettinardi putter I selected is a work of art and I have never played better. The rest of the staff was equally attentive and I left there reminded of the value of service. I used to stop by frequently, or at least as frequent as I could given I discovered the store not long ago. It's a great place if you ignore some shady practices. The one that got me was this; I have been shopping around for a 'new' iron set. I finally picked out a pretty decent set of Cobras, but for reasons, I end up putting them on hold. As I am standing at checkout, he runs through some rules to holds, such as you only get 24 hours and if they are purchased online, you're pretty S.O.L. Not great news, but I was off the next day and didn't mind the next day deal. I come in the next day, swing some wedges I need to pick up to get a complete set, and walk up to the counter. I give the guy at the counter my name to grab the clubs and he turns back to tell me they have been sold. Apparently, someone put someone else's name on the hold and they picked them up. No association. No warning that this might happen. Nothing. The guy behind the counter basically shrugged it off that someone did this. My guess is that it's standard practice for them. The only thing stopping me from getting verbally upset with him and demanding a manager is knowing that they probably don't make the rules. I never thought I would have to define what putting something on hold was to someone either, but I figured if you haven't gotten the concept by now, you probably won't get it. read more

This summer I was in the market for a new 3-wood. I wasn't really sure what I wanted, but knew what performance I was looking for. Simon at the Minnetonka store was a tremendous help, choosing 3 different fairway woods for me to try in the launch monitor. WOW! What great technology to help make the purchasing decision easier. The proof was in the data. I was able to compare launch angle, distance and direction of all the woods, including my own. I went with a Ping i15 and I couldn't be happier. I purchased an Adams Staff Golf Bag from 2ndswing last fall. When I purchased it I was NOT aware OR NOTIFIED that the bag would NOT have a Belly Panel.When I tried notifying 2nd Swing they told me to contact Adams Golf ,which I did and they told me to contact the seller. It was then that I tried EBay to see if I could find one. When I pulled the same gold bag up it showed another of the SAME STYLE BAG....USED /Returned because it didnt have a belly panel. So it looks like someone else was DUPED also. BUT this bag was for sale at $4.95, I paid $80.00 I was happy with the quality of the bag so the money was NOT the issue. I would NOT have purchased the bag if it was STATED NO BELLY PANEL. It did not. On Feb 13 I contacted 2nd Swing again and a customer service rep told me they had received some in and would look into them and notify me, 11 days later Im still waiting for a call...email,... US Postal mail, NOTHING. I fell the customer service rep ,Yessed me to get rid of me. I will not buy anything from 2nd Swing again. read more

Ordered July 3. Called July 7th to see why it hadn't been shipped. July 9th received a call saying they couldn't find what i ordered. Was going to offer different club. Returned the call July 10. Told them I don't care what they send... just hurry up and send one! Said actually maybe they did find the original club. I said again, don't care which one you send, just send one! Close of business July 10 still haven't received a shipping confirmation saying my order has been shipped. So much for their so called 48 hour processing time! Only ordered one club because I am a new customer and was trying to see if they are a reputable business to be a frequent customer of. Needless to say I won't be returning my business... and that's sad for them being as our entire family plays golf and I am our family's online order taker! read more
