I was looking forward to this food truck and read overall good reviews. To be honest, I found it to be lacking in overall flavor. Menu is truly a mix of Korean, Mexican and Indian in that they are made into burritos, tacos or bowls. They had vegetarian options as well. And they had sides like naan, (korean style) potstickers and tater tots. What i had: spicy pork burrito. Damage: $9.50. The meat itself, spicy pork, had a ton of flavor, but everything else didn't. Rice, kimchi and plain cucumber were rolled with it. The cucumber was not seasoned or pickled, rice didn't taste like much and the kimchi was barely noticeable. It was a dry burrito. I felt it could use Korean banchan side dishes like be an sprouts with sesame oil to give texture and flavor. And even a drizzle of the sweet spicy sauce used on sizzling stone pot bibimbap would be nice.. I tried a bite of my husband's carne asada which tasted really strong spices almost tex Mex like which I'm not a fan of. The meat was a little drier as well. And I just don't care for black beans.. my heart is set on pinto aka the refried beans. I get it's fusion but they don't offer sauces besides the hot sauce on their counter. I first saw this truck on Yelp and then I saw that there was a groupon deal for it so there was my chance to try it out while being cheap, f*ck yeah! I had the Korean short rib burrito and I really enjoyed it. The short rib was cut into tiny like pieces but it was kind of nice because it helped balance my meat:other stuff ratio. I definitely enjoyed it more than Mogo's because the last two time I had their short rib burrito, I was eating nothing but huge chunks of fat and that made me gag so bad I almost threw up. Anyways, back to Small Time Cooks. The kimchi rice was good but could've used a little more kimchi flavor to it. The rice was probably a little bland because the kimchi itself wasn't very flavorful. At least it was nice and crispy. The veggies in the burrito were very fresh and crunchy. Overall, solid burrito and if you needed a little bit more flavor to make up for the kimchi, just throw a little bit of the sauce they provide and you'll forget that the kimchi was very kimchi-ish. The first time I went to 3-3-3, I discovered a truck with delicious potential, but I was let down by a couple factors. Eric, 3-3-3's owner, reached out to me and encouraged me to come back to the same location and give it another shot, so I saw this as a great chance for a second chance. I ordered tacos with chili verde, spare rib, and chicken tikka masala. The chili verde was amazing; the pork was very tender and the taco was overall very well composed. The chicken tikka masala also impressed me with its unique combination of spices (for a taco, that is) and spot-on consistency. Although I'm not crazy about it, I also enjoyed my spare rib taco this time around. Eric also gave me a homemade virgin mojito on the house, which was a very kind gesture. It was incredibly fresh and balanced with sweetness and minty-ness. I totally recommend it. 3-3-3 has definitely lived up to the potential I saw upon first go. Sigh..... I expected more from this truck. I am sad to report that it was "A-OK." I'm sorry, but it was too.................fusion, for my taste. I guess it's also unfair because I am comparing my Korean BBQ Rib burrito ($8 tax included) to the one I get from MoGo. The burrito was good in portion, 8inch burrito... the long and skinny type rather than the shorter and chunky type. I finished about half of it, before I started feeling stuff. The beef part was pretty tasty, but I think the combination in the burrrito didn't work for me. The rice was mushy, and black beans, sour cream, cucumber and lettuce with Korean BBQ Rib...... mmmm not a perfect combo. I guess I expected more "Korean-ness" to it with lettuce, kimchi etc. I can't imagine a curry lamb (something else they offered that I thought about trying) burrito with the same fillings. Bonnie and staff from 3-3-3 Truck were awesome today while serving at company luncheon. Employees were loving the rice bowls and tacos with the variety of the options on the menu. The short ribs, spicy chicken and the curry lamb were mentioned as favorites among the choices. Definitely Freedom Financial will keep contact information for future luncheons since the response of the turnaround time for orders and quality of the food were raved be several employees. Communication was possible either by email or phone prior to the event so both parties were aware of any unexpected issues or certain needs. It actually had bits and pieces of strawberry in it. Korean spicy rice bowl was good and Chipotle chicken burrito was just okay. Chicken was dry and Tortilla had some bitterness in it. If I could give less than 1 star, I would. This truck was hired for our corporate event. The male who was taking orders had THE WORST attitude, completely unprovoked. He was frowning as he talked down at me (basically lecturing me in a very rude way), saying they were only offering the two dishes listed on the laminated menu to the side of the order window. He proceeded to say how, yes, our company may have hired them for this event, but they have to answer to someone else who told them they are only to serve the two Indian dishes. I was taken aback. This was his response and initial interaction with me when I approached the window to order, after I had asked for a dish I saw on their Yelp menu. I don't know if he was tired, or hungry, or both, or if he was tired of people asking for other dishes all day. Whatever the case may be, he had no idea who he was talking to that way, and for all he knew he could have been talking to the CEO. Not a good way to represent the company he is working for. The dish I ordered had good flavor, but had numerous clumps of hard, dry, sharp chunks of rice (like the kind of rice that sticks to the bottom of a pan, that you scrape off). Too bad, because I'm a foodie at heart, and unfortunately I am scratching this truck off of my list. P.S. Wow, what a cool new food truck!!! The truck graphics are way cool and the people are super friendly! Although I'll admit a slight disappointment when you first look at this trucks online menu. You get very excited seeing their amazing menu, featuring Mexican, Korean, and Indian type cuisine, please read further... They pick one every week and serve that, well at least for the lunch stops, so make sure you know which week it is before showing up! 3-3-3 has frequented my work often, so I've had the pleasure of experiencing all three cuisines. I have to say I rate them in this order: Mexican, Indian, and Korean. The Mexican cuisine was very good, you get to choose from Carne Asada, Chipotle Chicken, or Chili Verde. I decided to get a Carne Asada Burrito and a Chipolte Chicken Taco so I could taste it. For the burrito, the meat was perfectly cooked, super tasty, good seasoning, and they have this avocado/cilantro sauce that I could have just drank by itself. The chipolte chicken taco was yummy as well and the chicken was moist not dry, which is refreshing. The Indian cuisine was by far amazing! The only reason I'm not rating this on the top is because I couldn't eat all of their options because some of their main dish is mostly dairy. I had their Lamb Curry Taco and the Chicken Tikka Taco along with a side of their Garlic Naan. Wow, I'm normally not a big fan of Indian food, but the seasoning on the Lamb Curry was to die for and the Chicken Tikka was perfection. The Garlic Naan I could have eaten all day long especially with that Lamb Curry! These guys definitely know how to cook Indian that's for sure! Now, the Korean, I'm not sure if there are just too many Korean food truck options out there, but unfortunately I just wasn't impressed. The seasoning just wasn't there, it was kind of bland, really. I go to McCarthy ranch religiously for Fantasia but today I've found another reason to come here. Although this food truck is not exactly inside McCarthy ranch but rather next to it, in the parking lot that used to be a car dealership. Like Kimchi rice for the Korean burritos and etc. I thought the whole idea of incorporating diff meat into the tacos/ burritos was pretty neat too. Anyways, I wanted to sample of everything so decided to order a few tacos to just same it out. I ended up ordering 2 BBQ chicken, mushroom n tofu, and the lamb curry. We wanted to order 2 BBQ short ribs but they were out... They said it was the most popular and we did come pretty late. Our order was done within minutes and to my surprise they gave us a BBQ short ribs taco on the house. What nice gesture to make me a fan of theirs.. Maybe thats why I am giving them a 5stars.. The only hiccup was they lost my order for some reason and I had to go check on it after I noticed five other people getting their food before me. Our healthcare company hired these guys to come out to provide food for the staff for the appreciation day. Well all was decent until I bit down on a rock in my bowl which there was no apology no offer of replacing my food which I wouldn't have taken. Another employee found a hair in her bowl. These guys didn't use gloves or hair nets. I will never again eat from this truck. If you want to order a carne asada bowl on the rocks this is your truck. Updated 9/15/19: Response to Eric Small pebble I would definitely disagree with as you wouldn't like nor would your truck have liked if I would have broken or chipped my teeth due to the fact your truck served a bowl with this inside. Sorry didn't storm off as I am not a 2 year old. Sure you wouldn't have been pissed off if your company throws an appreciation lunch and the food truck you are eating from you bite down on a rock or small pebble as you have referenced. Your employees that were preparing the food did not wear hair nets and I have no reason to lie about what was stated to me by another Healthcare employee..since you want to be so defensive about the review I left regarding my experience with your food and the truck. 3-3-3 is a deceiving name for this truck! The idea is that they serve 3 different cuisines (Mexican, Korean, Indian), and have 3 different food options for each. But I don't really know how they split it, because I definitely didn't feel like there was much variety. When I came to the truck, they had a few signs showing their menu. They basically have Indian and Korean burritos and tacos, plus a special which was an Indian rice plate. I was pretty set on getting a Korean spicy BBQ chicken burrito, but sadly, they ran out of Korean rice, which I think is ridiculous since I only came out 30 min after they got here. Seriously?? Plus the menus are literally separate pieces of paper, so why not just take down the one that says Korean burritos? Anyways... **Korean spicy BBQ chicken tacos: I might be biased, because I am not a huge fan of tacos. But I felt like these were super super super tiny! They sell 3 for $9 or 4 for $10, so I definitely think it's worth it to get 4 just to stretch your money a little further. They also give you a free taco if you like them on fb and show them on your phone. The tacos were okay, definitely a little more spicy than I like and the taste lingers in your mouth. However, since they aren't super special, I feel like they're not worth $3/taco. Other then the tacos being room temp, which I totally understand, since it went eaten at the truck. I'm glad I had another chance to try, as I thought maybe I didn't see what others experienced at that time. But since then, some yelpers have concured with my review findings. The tacos are (still) mini size, like appetizer size. Definetely not the double corn tortilla found at a gazillion taco trucks. The meat quantity was minimal, at best. I would suggest decreasing the cost or bump up the meat quantity. It also seemed TOOOOO saucy meaning to much liquid VS meat quantity. It's like stew on a mini-mini corn tortilla. Although the meat bits was not too bad. Maybe the Ritz Carlton "chef" can develop an improved recipe, better timing on food delivery (ie burritos first, tacos second) and maybe throw in complimentary truck made tortilla chips (for the Mexican dishes) batura/papadum/roti/naan, etc (for Indian dishes) and banchan of the day (for Korean dishes). Basically something additional so we as the customers feel we are full in eyes, tummy and value. It is a good way of standing out, in the world of food trucks. This place was the best. Delicious food with friendly staff who are passionate about food and people! The tacos are delicious, and so unlike anything I've ever eaten before. Such a twist of flavors! This is coming from a not so adventurous eater of food. I thought it might be too spicy for me, but nay, this was not the case. I really wanted to like this truck. They had a great concept. 3 different types of cuisine in taco and burrito form. My friend and I tried lamb curry, korean beef, chili verde, and chipotle chicken tacos and sadly...didn't wow us. Lamb curry wasn't very flavorful in curry there was just a hint of it. I expected more for being an "Indian fusion" dish. Korean beef lacked in spiciness that you would find in bbqs. It also was on the sweet side which wasn't too appealing to us. The Honest Truth: Quality and diversity! I've had their food at 3 different places and I've loved each time! Try the taco sampler to get a good taste of everything they have to offer. The Details: I've encountered this truck on 3 separate occasions and each time they surprised me with different types of cuisines. 1) Prelude NorCal Hip Hop Dance Competition 2012 The first time I had their food was at a dance competition that my team hosted. They served a korean-style short rib and tater tots dish which consisted of tater tots, korean-style meat, chopped vegetables and a couple sauces. If you're into really flavorful foods like I am, you would love this, and it had great textures with the crunchy outside/soft inside tater tots, tender meat, and refreshing vegetables. It was an awesome snack that hit the spot after a day of running around organizing the dance competition. They also had boba green milk tea which which tasted great! It had a good tea flavor and the milk didn't taste too creamy, or powdery as some other boba places do. 2) Off the Grid Hayward I decided to visit the truck in its natural habitat at an off the grid in hayward to try their normal menu. I was surprised that the guy working the truck actually took time to explain all of their different options to me (despite the accumulating line) and so I decided to try all of the tacos. Although a little pricey, I figured that I should give all the tacos a try after they had explained everything to me. At first I had doubts about them having such a diverse menu and thought that everything might end up tasting the same, but I was wrong! I could tell that each dish had been intentionally made so that the 3 styles would be accessible to my taste buds. My favorite was the chile verde taco although the chicken tikka taco was very good as well. All the tacos are well balanced from the flavor of the meat and quality of their sauces to the perfectly cuboidal shape of the vegetables. I also tried their naan which was a really nice compliment to their meat. It has a slight, but not overpowering garlic flavor and has a good crispy texture on the outside. 3) Dance Group Banquet The dance group that I'm a part of was lucky enough to have 3-3-3 cater our event! I was curious as to how their fine-dining food was taste in comparison to their typical truck food. I was once again surprised at how it turned out! We had a southwest chicken salad and cocktail shrimp for the appetizers, cheese corn and asparagus medley, vegetable lasagna, fettucine alfredo, and chicken parmesan. I really appreciated the southwest chicken salad, which wasn't overdressed and had a nice fusion-y flavor to it. The cheese corn and asparagus medley was also very good. It had a nice spicy kick to it and was a unique combination of flavors. I also really liked how the vegetable lasagna actually had fully sliced vegetables in it. I could actually taste and squash and it didn't get lost in a sea of abundant tomato sauce. Overall, I've learned not to be surprised by these guys. No matter what type of food or what style, they do it well. They are also wiling to work with you for whatever event you ask them to cater or whatever type of menu you envision. They might be a new truck, but give them a chance and you won't be disappointed! read more

Asked 3-3-3 to come on campus for a big celebration, and they said yes! They showed up on time and catered to hundreds of people. I pre-ordered meals for our volunteers, including 1 dairy-free meal and that was done well and timely. I wasn't able to try the food but our band members said it was really good and recommended it. LOVE the concept. Three different styles (Korean, Indian, Mexican), three options for each. But every time I go there, they are only offering TWO of their possible nine options. I asked the guy if they ever offer the full menu. He said no, they rotate. #FAIL!!! Their tacos are overpriced and tiny. I would probably pay $20 for 9 tacos if they offered all 9 just so I can say I tried them all. But they won't do that. I can get much better Indian, Mexican and Korean food at other trucks. The business model definitely appeals to people like me who like to sample a little bit of everything, but they are blowing it with the execution. read more

Gave this place a try on Wedesday for the Food truck mafia in Milpitas. It seems like they are not able to handle the multitude of orders and they were in a bit over their heads. 20ish mins for 4 tacos and a burrito is a bit long. My tacos were done long before the burrito, which meant that the tacos were cold by the time I got it. Also people who ordered after me were getting their food first. That is a bit unproductive if you ask me. You should finish one order first before you start on another. Or at least do the burrito first since it takes longer to make. Also, you should serve the foods once it is done instead of letting it sit there getting cold, while you just keep taking people's orders. The tacos were watery and had hardly any meat in them. If it was still hot I'm sure it would have been good. For $1.50 - $2.00 I would expect more meat. The burrito was okay. Again, more meat please. The rice was good. This place has the potential to be good if they can be more productive and change their portions. Will update in a couple of weeks. Hopefully it will be better. read more

This food truck has been on my radar for a while now. Finally, my friends and I went to an event (garden at the flea) and they were there! They're an Asian fusion food truck offer 3 different type of cuisines Indian, Mexican, and Korean. We ordered the spicy pork rice bowl, chicken tikki masala bowl, steak and tots, and spicy pork and tots. The portions were huge (shareable)! What i liked the most was how flavorful the food were, especially the spicy pork and Kim chi. The tikki masala was flavorful but I wish it was a spicy! Overall the food is great. We asked Eric and the 333 truck to come up to cater our dance competition (Prelude Norcal) and it was nothing less than awesome. Eric was gracious enough to not only drive up to Hayward from San Jose to support our event, but also created a few special menu items just for us: Jasmine pearl milk tea (because its a universal truth that dancers love boba), Korean short rib tater tots (!), and Carne asada fries. The tea tasted really fresh. Definitely made from real tea leaves and not cheap powder you can pick up at any store. In fact, all of their menu items are made from scratch! The short rib was juicy, and the carne asada fries were drizzed in delectable green sauce. There's an unmistakable craftsmanship in the food--all of the meats and sauces were paired perfectly for each other and the flavor is straight up addictive (but not in that fast food way where it just tastes good for a little bit then you feel empty inside). I can tell that these guys really take a lot of pride in the stuff they produce. Would recommend to anybody! read more

I used my Groupon deal which allowed me to get 2 burritos and 2 tacos with a dollar left over. The tacos are really tiny, but they are pretty tasty. I could probably eat 10 of them lol. I had the Chicken Tikka Masala and Lamb burritos which came with a sweet green sauce. Everything was good, but I kind of wished my burritos had more curry sauce. The green sauce was too sweet for my taste, but if they had a bit more curry sauce in the burrito in the first place, I don't think I would have had to use it. They have outdoor seating with a tarp overhead covering and a parking lot all to themselves. They are in the parking lot between the giant Asian plaza with Ranch 99 in it and the other Asian plaza that has ABC Seafood in it. read more
