    Ahi Tuna Rice Bowl
    Vincent P.

I haven't had Koja Kitchen in a while, so when I saw that they had a Fremont location, I decided to give it a try again. I ordered the Ahi Tuna Poke Bowl and it was a solid bowl. The flavors were all tasty and the bowl was really filling. I usually like the build my own poke bowl, but this was a solid customized poke bowl. I am glad report that Koja Kitchen remains a solid Asian fusion casual food option for a quick and tasty meal!

went here and got the kamikaze fries, soy garlic wings and the chicken and rice bowl. It was SOOOOOOO good. It was fresh, crispy and very flavorful. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Not the most fancy ambience but food hits it out of the park[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]], and great portions for the price.

It's been a few years since my last visit to this location & the experience is just as good as I remembered. It's located across from Sleep Number and near the movie theater. I highly recommend this spot if you're looking for well marinated meat & fresh food. Think of it like Korean bbq + Japanese street food. I ordered the short rib bowl (no fries this time) But their fries are so good! So crispy & you can upgrade them to kamikaze or umami fries. Aside from the bowl, I would like to highlight the spinach salad, and the kimchi definitely heightened the bowl and gave it such freshness along with the rice. I am here for a work trip so I showed my coworkers places around the area I used to eat and they loved this spot. They ordered the tacos and the bowls. They serve fresh lemonade which I ordered & everyone else got fountain drinks. Service was quick and they now have self order screens available. After ordering they give you a buzzer when food is ready. [[HIGHLIGHT]]They have tons of seating inside and outdoor seating as well.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

I have tried several locations and this was my first time trying this one. The original and the beef koja were made well. Rice patty had the right amount of crunch. Veggies were fresh and the portions of the meat were good too. I haven't tried any of the chickens ones but my go-to is the original koja.

    "The Original" KoJa

"Sweet Buns, Crispy Rice, and Solid Comfort Food at KoJa" Food (4.5 / 5): The Original KoJa is always a fan favorite, and it's easy to see why -- the crispy rice bun paired with flavorful meat is a classic. That said, it personally wasn't my top pick this time since I prefer softer rice. Next visit, I'll probably go with the bowl instead. What really surprised me was the Bulgogi Bun Burger. The bun tastes like a giant piece of Hawaiian bread with a subtle sweetness that works perfectly with the dish. The beef was tender, and the bulgogi marinade was extremely flavorful -- easily the standout item for me. The waffle fries deserve a shoutout too. Paired with their sauces, they're extremely good and go well with just about anything on the menu. And if you still have room, you can't go wrong with the Spam Musubi. It comes with plenty of toppings, letting you switch up the flavors and keep things interesting until the last bite. Service (4 / 5): Ordering is simple and efficient. You place your order at a kiosk, and about 10 minutes later you'll get a text letting you know your food is ready. Smooth, no-fuss process. Ambience / Décor: [[HIGHLIGHT]]The restaurant offers outdoor seating, making it pet friendly. The setup is casual and relaxed -- a great spot to grab a quick bite or hang out with friends.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Overall: KoJa delivers solid, flavorful food with a few standout items, especially the bulgogi bun burger. Easy ordering, outdoor seating, and good portions make this a spot worth revisiting.

Koja Kitchen has been around for a while and I'm surprised I only come here a few times. Each time has always been a good experience though! My bf and I wanted a quick bite to eat before the movies so we ended up here :) I got the beef bowl with an egg added and my bf got the chicken bowl with 2 eggs lol. Pretty delicious! I got so full. The beef was marinated well and tbh the crab salad is so good here. I think the portions are more than enough! Also if you don't like any spice, make sure to remove gochujang otherwise leave it if you enjoy that! Overall, this place can't disappoint esp. if you know what you're ordering! Service was cool, we did kinda come in 45 min before closing but it wasn't too busy! [[HIGHLIGHT]]Ambiance was alright as well, we sat outside though![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

I absolutely love this restaurant! They have the best fries I've ever had, and all of the dishes are packed with flavor. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The restaurant is spacious and clean[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]], and I really appreciate how friendly and attentive the staff are. I highly recommend trying the short rib bowl or either of their two types of fries. Definitely worth a try!

    Preet P.

We wanted to try something with different flavors, and Koja delivered! We ordered the chicken bowl, kamikaze fries, and one chicken taco, everything was delicious. The flavor, spice level, and portion sizes were all on point. One thing to note: there was no cashier or counter staff taking orders. You place your order at a kiosk/stand, get a receipt with your number, and wait for them to call it. Simple enough, just good to know ahead of time. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Restaurant itself is very quite big with multiple seating arrangements and very clean as well[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]. Will be back for sure!!

Came here to give this spot another shot and it still wasn't was good as the first time. The lettuce in the bowls was soggy and didn't seem fresh. The meat wasn't as lean either. There were several pieces with big chunks or fat and gristle. Disappointing because the actual meat pieces are really tasty. The fries were pretty good but get mushy very quick. I don't know if we'll be back. Don't think it's worth it for $40.

    Cindy H.

Yummmm! The fries here are so good! They are so flavorful and delicious- it's also super affordable as well. I had my order packed to go and it was fresh and crispy just how I like it!

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Pretty solid spot for casual lunch.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Nothing insane but everything is generally pretty good. I like to use the deals on Uber eats too belly down the price a lil bit tho. The braised pork is solid love the coconut miso finally. The bowls all have a carb veggie and protein so it's good for a healthy ish meal. Don't forget the kojas which are like crispy rice burgers/sandwiches

Clockwise: signature spam musubi, kamikaze fries, umami fries, ahi tuna bowl
    Johnny A.

Everytime I go to Koja Kitchen, it's bc I'm craving some Kamikaze fries, or the pictures of it pull me in. I decided to fulfill the craving and also try the umami fries, ahi tuna bowl, and signature spam musubi. Kamikaze fries: 5/5, will always recommend. Umami fries: 5/5, had pork instead of beef. Ahi tuna bowl: 4/5, sauce had a lil more wasabi taste than preferred. Signature spam musubi: 3/5. Basic, your usual musubi w extra tamago and avocado but lacking special/signature flavor. Also mine didn't have any bacon in it as described. Will always return for a waffle fry craving! The other items are okay. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Plenty of parking, walk in and order at the cashier, hold onto your vibrator number until it goes off, self serve, fast food.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I did try to squirt some sriracha into a small paper cup but then the whole lid blew off and it was just me and a cup's worth of Sriracha on the counter for me to clean up. Kitchen staff didn't understand what my issue was (language?); cashier went somewhere. Good thing I didn't hold the bottle directly over my food.

    Spam Musubi
    Koko M.

Tasty snacks - check! The flavors are popping. Serving sizes are exactly what we should be eating. And living the variety offered. Wasn't expecting quite as much as there was so it was hard to choose, but I went with some spam musubi, a braised, pork taco and a braised pork bowl. Light bite dinner and lunch tomorrow. Huge fan of the spam comes with making an avocado, which was a nice surprise. I didn't read the details of the menu so it felt extra fancy. Braised pork taco was a little oily and I wish there was just a smidge more spice to it had some bites with flavor and some kind of lacking and the pork bowl was a nice size and comes with wider brown rice and the kimchi mixture. I put a couple dabs of hot sauce on it and took a few bites and for me that made it. It was good by itself too. I just needed a kick of spice tonight. Definitely looking forward to checking them out again and exploring more of the menu options .

There is a LOT of seafood in this pancake and it's delicious with the sauce. Galbi (5/5) - pricey, but the dinner portion is a good size and sharable for 2. The meat is tender and tasty and cooked with the perfect char.  Bibimbap (4/5) - I do like this one, it comes with a lot of beef and veggies. I like getting mine with a side of seasame oil to enhance the flavors. It stays hot for awhile tho lol Dumpling tofu soup (4/5) - also one of my go-to orders. I get it mild, and always eat it at the end of my meal because it stays hotttt. The restaurant is not ayce which is actually what we were looking for. Sometimes you just want to order different stuff without subject yourself to overeating. The problem is the food is so so but for the price it's slightly less quality than you'd expect. We ordered both the combo 1 and a spicy squid dish. The combo 1 has a bbq galbi (LA galbi), a bbq dish (with chicken, pork and bulgogi), tofu soup and a cheesy corn dish. None of them are bad per se but the amount of food doesn't feel like a good enough deal for the price. The combo is a better deal than ordering the dish individually but the the amount of galbi is just too little. The same is true for the spicy squid dish, just too few pieces to justify the price. The tofu soup doesn't come with an egg. Banchan however has a good number of varieties. This is also the only Korean restaurant I know that charges $3 for a bowl of rice. The service is good and the place is larger than expected. There are bbq tables but I don't think those have been used for a while. The location is the tiny plaza where the main focus is the McDonald's. There is however a fairly popular coffee place next door.

I opted for their ham and cheese isaac toast and an egg salad sandwich. I appreciate the food being made fresh and the workers were efficient, but the isaac toast had one slice of ham and A LOT of cabbage, both fried in a puck and non-fried.
