Kudos to Los Jarochos Grill food truck for spectacular food... and very friendly service! The food was very fresh and very hot... with everything cooked to perfection. We had their Torta with beef and shrimp... and a burrito bowl with grilled chicken... and they were both absolutely amazing! The Torta was huge and the burrito bowl was enough for two people. On top of everything else, their sauces are awesome... with the Spicy Guacamole and Hot Mango Habanero our favorites. (The Hot Mango Habanero sauce has quite a kick to it... so use it carefully.) ;-) Keep up the good work Los Jarochos! You guys are great! read more

Nice guys serving high quality, inexpensive food... The fish, tofu and pollo were good with surprisingly the tofu taco being my favorite. They also have Mexican coke, you should try it if you have not, it is very different form what you get in a store. They take their job seriously based on the presentation of the food and the attention to detail. Very clean and have hand sanitizer as well. read more

I drove a mile down (toward Milpitas) on Warren for Taqueria Extra truck. It's parked inside a gas station (Valero I think). Food is quite good and price decent. read more

My first time trying the street tacos at this particular food truck. I went with the taco special 4/$10. One of each, chicken, al pastor, carne asada and carnitas. By far, my favorites were the carnitas and the al pastor. The carnitas taco was best with the avocado salsa. read more

18th Birthday Party We hired their truck for our daughters 18th birthday. They showed up early and were ready to serve approximately 60 guests within an hour. The service and food were outstanding, far better than local Mexican restaurants in my area. All the guests raved about the food and service and it was fun to have your own taco truck at your house. In addition, the truck and presentation of the food was very professional and clean. We had such a great experience we are thinking about doing it for another party. The cost was also very reasonable at around $15 per person plus tip. They also provided soft drinks, all utensils etc. Cannot recommend Los Jarochos more highly. read more

My God. Los Jarochos. You are immaculate. I've frequented the Bay Area tech industry for a few years now and this food truck is BY FAR my absolute favorite. Extremely high quality, generous portions, remarkable flavor, friendly service, fair prices... from top to bottom, you cannot go wrong when you walk up to Jarochos for lunch. Tried this truck at work. They had four meat options: chicken, steak, spicy pork, and tofu. I ordered the burrito bowl with carne asada. In my bowl from left to right, it contained rice, meat topped with guacamole, shredded lettuce and tomato, and pinto beans topped with tortilla chips. I appreciated that the rice wasn't too dry or too soggy. The fillers like lettuce and beans topped with cheese were good but the didn't have as much flavor as the meat. The carne asada was great because it had nice chunks of beef and it had so much flavor. Normally I would complain about the fillers but when you add the sauces to them, they were great. The green sauce was good but I liked the creamy spicy orange sauce the best. Overall, it was a yummy burrito bowl. It was filling and the sauces made it even better. read more

9/28/15: This new truck came to our office complex today, and I'm glad that we have another quality truck as a choice for Mexican! The truck seems to have all the standard Mexican fast food like burritos, quesadillas, tortas, and even flautas. They even had a few specials today including a shrimp bowl, fish tacos, and a tacos combo. And yes, they have vegetarian too. I like to judge Mexican fast food by their carne asada though, which is often a clear discriminator, so today I got... 1. Carne Asada Burrito $9.00: This was one of the larger-sized burritos, meaning big enough to make me feel full being 200lbs myself. But fortunately it's not just a mass of food--it's damn good tasting too. So, the carne asada itself was nicely grilled, chopped up. Not the best out there, without great charcoal taste or any special flavor, but it was solid. Good. Also the burrito was plenty moist and tasty with plenty of sauce (house-made?) and good Mexican white cheese. Comes with some chips. Basic, but good beef burrito. 7/10. They also had 3 sauces to choose from: creamy orange which was like a mayo-based salsa, red which had a good amount of heat and an awesome smoky flavor!, and a green sauce which also was creamy. Anytime I see birria, I have to try it and wow their quesabirria is really good! A lot of the birria tacos I've had recently have been such a disappointment so I am so pleasantly surprised by Los Jarochos. The meat and consome were on point. Everything tasted fresh and flavorful. They give you a lot and don't charge nearly as much as other trucks or restaurants especially for the quality and large portions. I will definitely be following this truck. read more

I'm glad that Tacos Los Jarochos came by my work today and that the other truck that was scheduled flaked. Hadn't tried this truck before but since I knew I might do a review I opted for the taco plate since it'd let me try the most things (two meats, rice, beans, salsas) with the least money spent (not a bad deal at $8). The plate came with two tacos, I opted for one carne asada and one chicken. The tacos are served street-style, with onions and cilantro, with two limes and those little radish things that I never eat (but still appreciate). In both cases, the meat was great, not tough and not overly spiced. The carne asada was just a bit burnt, which is just how I like it from a Mexican place. I hope the truck comes back so I can try that carne asada in a burrito. As a rule of thumb, I find that rice tells you just about everything you need to know about a food establishment, especially Mexican food. The rice is solid here; not spectacular but very tasty. Another indicator is the beans, which I typically don't eat unless they're excellent, which these were. Some might like the beans a bit thicker but the taste was good and they were generous with the cheese. Also notable were the salsas, served from large squeezable condiment tubes and kept on ice. All three were awesome, which is a rare opinion from me. Here's my notes on those: Green salsa - tangy, avocado style (maybe tomatillo as well?), very good Red salsa - spicy, not sweet, good Orange salsa - tangy, some mayonnaise flavor, very good but not as good as La Vic Note that the food here is far superior to La Vic's, but only the orange sauce is not as good (which is necessary to make La Vic's food edible). It was difficult to figure out which salsa to use since they were all so strong. I tried mixing all three but more != better in this case. I also saw a burrito bowl on the menu, might be good for folks that are trying to eliminate tortillas for one reason or another. read more

Great Food, Great Prices, Awesome People. I called them for to work a can release at out brewery. They arrived on time and ready to go. All of their staff was very approachable and friendly. The truck was extremely clean and presentable. Then I got to taste the food. I had four different tacos, and they were all delicious. It's rare that trucks nail it on all of the taco concepts, but they knocked it out of the park. Everything was so fresh. I even went back for a burrito to take home later that night. It was almost 4 hours old when I ate it...still amazing. I highly recommend using this truck for any occasion. I really hope we can have them back at the brewery again soon. read more

Just got back from my kids walk-a-thon at Simonds Elementary. Decided to get the family some food and a taco truck looked great. I ordered some carne asada tacos, burrito with al pastor and a vegi burrito. The meat was amazing...great flavor and not dried out. The sauces were amazing. They had their version of the orange sauce which was pretty darn good. Their other sauce had great chile and tasted great. I would recommend this truck to many people. read more

I had carne asada tacos with pica de gallo. They were deliciously stuffed full of meat garnished with cilantro, lime wedges, radishes, and tortilla chips. (I requested the pica which they happily added.) Their fish tacos were generously packed with tilapia. I'm not a fan of tilapia but they looked good. Just tried this food truck at work, and must say the food is excellent! I had the carne asada burrito bowl. I love the way the food was (radishes, avocado, meat, rice, tomatoes, lettuce. etc) was all nicely laid out and presented in the container. Food is very tasty.
