Stumbled into this restaurant for lunch today and surprised I haven't been sooner as I find my way over here a lot. 3 Amigos is casual dine in and to go Mexican food. I would give this spot a solid 3.5 stars as it's middle of the road Mexican food. However with yelp, I'll always round up since we don't have 1/2 stars. Best thing about this spot is the service. Definitely 5 stars in terms of friendliness, promptness, and attitude. Everyone that worked here was super nice and I appreciated that our order came out very quick which makes this a great spot when you are in a rush. The gals working here today were very nice and welcoming. Good vibes. The menu was also impressively large. Loved that they had a good variety of burritos, tacos, and other sides or snacks. The restaurant was clean with plenty of indoor seating and a good few tables outside in the shade. The restaurant was organized meaning easy to find the drinks and silverware. Causal decor, nothing fancy but this is a on the go type of a place as you order at the counter and pickup your food when your numbers called. Those are probably the biggest positives about this place from my review. Nice people and a good atmosphere/clean restaurant. I have to agree with other reviews that I found this spot to be a little pricy. Not terrible but for the quality of the food it seemed a little high. 2 bottled sodas (no refill), 2 tacos, one quesadilla, and one side of rice/beans was almost $40 ($37 I think to be exact). Seemed a little steep as only one meal was a combo. Also the food was average so it didn't warrant the higher price point in my opinion. As for the food, some hits and misses. I ordered the carnitas tacos and I thought they were good. Not the best but I was definitely satisfied with them. Carnitas were a nice portion and good fatty/juicy. You can see from my pictures though the onion ratio they put on my tacos was way overboard. Luckily it was easy for me to scoop some off but as an onion lover it was even too much for me. The rice and beans were average, nothing to write home about. The quesadilla wasn't very good according to my friend. She barely ate it and I agreed the asada in the quesadilla looked a bit bland and was small cut up square pieces. She barely touched it so that was a bummer. I think with this place explore the menu and find what sounds appealing to you. I did like the carnitas tacos for the most part but wouldn't be high on my list to come back. This area is lacking restaurant options so despite giving them a 3.5 it's good to have a spot like this in the area. Friendly and nice people work here so I'll definitely keep this place in mind and try something new next time as they are deserving of your business. read more

We ordered the supreme burrito with steak, one grilled fish soft taco, one carnitas soft taco, and one horchata. The horchata was a little sweet for me, but everything else was delicious. I can confidentially say that this was the best burrito of my life, which I'm a little embarrassed to admit, probably has to do with the creamy chipotle sauce. Honestly this place is very mediocre & I don't understand the 5 star reviews. Maybe we are spoiled from legit Mexican food in LA because I honestly think that anyone who loves this place has never had delicious, good quality, authentic Mexican food. Bummed that this is the closest Mexican spot and won't be going back. My husband is part Mexican and he was really annoyed that they don't have refried beans, don't include guacamole with the taquitos & they don't have butter for the tortillas. Pro Tips from someone coming here for years: Getting any burrito Enchilada Style is the best $2.29 you could spend anywhere. Amazing enchilada sauce with perfect cheesy chips. Get "mixed beans" and combine the pinto and black beans - best of both worlds and perfect for the indecisive. Salsa Bar is A+ and the Tomatillo Salsa is one of the best parts of 3 Amigos. It's not hot. Also, the Tostada is a massive salad with Guac and sour cream often provides leftovers. read more

Really good!! I had the 3 Hard Shell Taco Plate which comes with rice and beans. It's a lot of food, and it goes for only $8.95. I think these were some of the best tacos I've every had. I chose beef, and they were loaded with large pieces of beef, not the mushy stuff or ground beef you'll see at other places. You also get a choice of whole pinto beans or black beans. Finally, there is a nice salsa bar, with several varieties of salsa, as well as lemon and lime wedges, from which you can take as much as you want. Love this place. It's our go to when we need some good Mexican food. My boy devours the chicken tostada. My daughter loves the steak burrito. And you have choices with rice and peppers or cheese and guacamole. My wife enjoys the burritos as well. And I like the shredded beef tacos which are a great deal. Two of these is a meal. And for the cooler nights they have a pretty good chicken tortilla soup. And the salsa bar has a pretty good selection and is always stocked and clean.
