We love Patron. This is my family's go to Mexican spot, in all honesty it's our go to if we eat out because it's the one place, we can always agree on. The food is yummy, they have both a med/hot salsa and a mild for the kids or this that don't like too much spice, it's great for the kids. The drinks are strong and delicious. Everyone there I so nice, welcoming, friendly, and hardworking. The drinks are great and the margaritas are strong and delicious! The restaurant is clean and seating is comfortable. Patron is a special little place here in NP!

I was here on a Thursday evening around 6 pm. Was seated immediately. Watching other diners come in I got the sense that many were regulars, the way the staff and them greeted each other warmly. The Jalapeño Margarita was well made with some crushed and added, and a few pieces added on top, raw. Chips and Salsa came quickly. The server was kind enough to suggest a dark, musky Habanero sauce that tasted like a cross between Salsa and Chinese Hoisin sauce. Very tasty! My Bean and Cheese burrito was good with just black beans in and out. Good portion without being too large. Enjoyed dinner a lot! Good food, great service. Will be back again!

The food was just ok. But found a hair. The staff is incredible especially Brenda and Gino that made it right we are locals and always visit here I just don't what happened

Friendly staff Quick service GREAT Salsa - I recommend they give (2) small sides of salsa because most people drench their food in it. Over-priced for what you get. Small portions (depending on what you get) Their Breakfast burrito with eggs, cheese, potato, and beans is DELICIOUS.

So amazing.. the food and drinks are always awesome. Service is awesome, ask for Kimberly. I love the hard shell tacos, chili Colorado and the margaritas.

I like this restaurant. You walk on and are greeted right away. We sat at the bar and were greeted by the bartender who did an excellent job. The bar was nice as was the rest of the place. Nice art on the walls and a TV above the bar. The food was also pretty good. I had the Chile Verde plate, a generous portion, and very tasty. Also, the chorizo dip was very good. Our server was very attentive and full of great suggestions. We all will be visiting here again

The side salad, with one bite taken, that they wanted to charge us.

I took my parents there for dinner because I love their tacos. My Mom and I ordered the Two Taco Combination plates with side salads and my Dad the Avocado Salad. Three side salads were delivered. We tried to tell the Spanish speaking server that we only had two side salads. My Dad even said to him that he ordered the Avocado Salad for his entree. He still put all three side salads down on the table and left. After our first bites, Not 60 seconds later, the server, Kimberly, came out to our table and said she would have to take the third side salad back or charge us. I said, "Your helper left all three after we tried to tell him we only had two!" She, again, said it didn't matter she would have to charge us or take it. I said, "It's just 3 bites of lettuce, and my Dad has already eaten from it!" She again firmly said she takes it or we pay for it. I said, "So you are going to throw this measly little salad out just to make a point?" She just stared at us. Then my dad said, "Just take it!" Wow! What horrible business practice! Not only that, I was REALLY embarrassed that my parents witnessed that! I will never eat there again!

The vibe is industrial and low-lit, like the kind of bar where the walls have stories but won't snitch. Small space, metal-and-concrete aesthetic, but somehow still warm and cozy. Perfect for a date night or a "let me mentally unpack my life over cocktails" hang with my best friend. What keeps me coming back? The bartenders actually listen. I can walk up and give the vaguest description -- "classic but not sweet, strong but not too whiskey-forward, smooth but still gives main character energy" -- and they'll just... create it. They've made me drinks that aren't even on the menu -- Army Navy, Aviation, etc. -- and every single one was spot on. They always manage to find the right drink for me, which is honestly a skill more people should have. The servers are genuinely nice, the liquor selection is solid, and the energy is chill without being pretentious. I've also heard there's a speakeasy hidden in here somewhere, and trust me, one day I'll find it like I'm unlocking a side quest. Definitely one of my favorite bars in Thousand Oaks -- industrial vibes, great people, and bartenders who match drinks to my personality better than most men can.

Let's start with their FRITTO MISTO, a mouthwatering combination of fried calamari and shrimp. The addictive sauce that accompanies it is a must-order, and we often find ourselves ordering extra! For a hearty side, try their grandmother Nonna's meatballs, POLPETTE DELLA NONNA. They're incredibly tasty and a great way to start your meal. If you're a fan of zucchini blossoms, you'll absolutely love their FIORI DI ZUCCA RIPIENI. It's a delightful dish that's sure to impress. One of my favorite salads is their INSALATA DELLA CASA, which is a refreshing and healthy option. Adding grilled shrimp takes it to the next level. Now, let's talk about their main courses. Their seafood and pasta dishes are all mouthwatering, but here are our favorites: 1) CACIO E PEPE: This dish is incredibly delicious and goes to another level when you add their grilled shrimp and truffle. 2) BRANZINO: Their seafood is cooked perfectly every time, and they often have HALIBUT as a special dish, which we love as a great alternative. 3) BOLOGNESE: Our son absolutely devours this dish, and it's a great option for kids. 4) STROZZAPRETI: This pasta dish is another great choice, filled with a lot of flavor. 5) LASAGNA: It used to be our number one dish until we started exploring their menu. 6) BRASATO DI MANZI: This is an ultra-delicious bone-in slow-braised beef short rib dish that's out of this world! And finally, let's talk about dessert. Their NONNA'S CAKE is the best butter cake ever! It's their grandmother's own recipe, and it's a must-try. The menu is on a small iPad so you can click on a picture a see what the menu item looks like. I liked this feature so I knew exactly what I was ordering. We really enjoyed the short rib with the hummus and pita too. The meat was tender and the combination of the flavors was excellent. Baba's chicken was amazing. It was better than I expected. As pescatarians, we found the menu somewhat limited. While the food was competently prepared and attractively presented, it did not justify the final bill of $213.77. The meal began with a complimentary amuse-bouche of burrata cream on watermelon tasting which was elegant and flavorful, but small. For starters, we ordered the Hamachi, Salmon Tartare Tacos, and Smoked Trout Toast. Each dish had an interesting concept, but none stood out. The salmon and tartare were ground so finely that they lacked the texture and freshness we expected. For our entrées, we had the Tomato & Burrata and the Sea Bream. The sauce accompanying the burrata was excellent and was the highlight of the meal. Unfortunately, the sea bream itself was slightly overcooked. We also tried two non-alcoholic drinks: a hibiscus mocktail and a lychee lemonade. Both were pleasant but unremarkable. For dessert, we ordered the peach galette and the chocolate dessert. They were nicely presented but tasted average. The chocolatine contained croissant bits. Given the restaurant's prices, we expected desserts to be better curated and with memorable flavors. Instead, they reminded us of supermarket-quality desserts. Overall, this is a beautiful restaurant with excellent service, but the food did not live up to either the presentation or the price. We'd consider returning for the atmosphere, but not for the value.
