Gary came to my house and evaluated my broken blinds. He thought it could be repaired, even when the Prev service person said it couldn't be. Gary could have so easily sold me new blinds, but he did what was best for ME! He set up the repair while he was here. HE WAS RIGHT! My blind WAS able to Be repaired! Gary was very honest and demonstrated that he had my best intentions in mind. I will definitely call him again when I need new blinds or service. read more

Three Day Blinds used to be top dog in this field. I have been waiting for nearly 4 months for six thousand dollars of Plantation Shutters. I would recommend using local vendors. I have used them when you could go to their shops and get measured and installed promptly, not now. They send measurements to China!!!!!!! read more

The powered roller shades I ordered were nice if only someone could actually come out and finish the installation. When I contacted Tammy M. about why I was promised 3 day for install from my order date and now I'm on my 3rd week, she texted back stating there's nothing she can do. She had no problem taking the order and making the commission but when it has anything to do with customer service, there's nothing she can do? When they finally came out to install, they couldn't finish the job stating they didn't have enough brackets and would come back on the next Monday to finish. I waited all evening on Monday without a SINGLE phone call that no one will be showing up. I contacted my representative the next day to ask her why no one even had the courtesy to call and just did a no show making the customer wait all evening. Again, she said there's nothing she could do other than contact customer service. I asked for a refund if they could not get the job completed at the end of the week and AGAIN she said there's nothing she can do. I will be disputing my credit card charge. I need more blinds but will be using someone else and I recommend the same to everyone. My neighbors wanted to order and came and ask me of my opinion regarding customer service and product. I have since received a credit on my account for the at home service charge and a corporate representative was able to move up my delivery by 1 full week! I am so grateful of these efforts and this outcome. It shouldn't have to come to this. Advice to others: if you have a repair then ask the representative to call the service center and see if they have your parts in stock (that will cut off at least 5 business days off your wait). Also, ask the representative to also schedule a tentative delivery of your repaired product so you don't have to sit around waiting for the schedule once the repair is made (cut off another 5 business days). read more

Totally inept company. 1. sales person who recommended Hunter Douglas motorized blind and KNEW I wanted to automate it thru my iPhone had NO idea it required a hub, costing extra 2. One blind was mis-measured by an extra 2 " and had to be re-made. It was installed TODAY and the motor quit after FIRST use 3. Installer installed 2 power supplies for HD blind DESPITE the fact that the instructions said to use a "Y" connector 4. They "repaired" a Somfy blind with a new motor at almost $300 that quit immediately. We have wasted time and money and STILL 2 blinds are stuck in the "up"position and we have NO window coverings. They have been here multiple times and no resolution. VERY unhappy with this company and would NOT recommend them to an one. read more

The salesperson (Kimmy B.) is pleasant and knowledgeable enough (although she talked very very LOUD -- which made it unpleasant after a while !!!). The hard sale close is a turn off because apparently she gets bonuses for the same day close during the estimate appt. She told me that I can put down 50% to get the $300 cash discount on a $4k order, and if I get back with her by 5pm the next day if I changed my mind then she will refund the deposit. I got back with her before the 5pm cut off but yet the following day the original deposit still got posted to my VISA even after I cancelled the order -- this tells me that my cancellation on the order was ignored!!!! I let her know about my being baffled by what happened -- she told me the refund was processed on the next day when she got my email, ...right?! These blind/shade companies all sell similar products for the competitive prices. The only difference is the integrity and follow through of the salesperson -- which is a bit short for me with this lady because she stopped communicating with me after she knows she lost the sale!!! I will not be doing business with this company -- they plugged their own products and pass through many extra charges, including an override on the installation fees that are subbed out. Working with 3 Day Blinds was very refreshing. From the point of contact with the call center to our installation appointment the communication was flawless. I only wished I had know about them sooner when we purchased blinds in our new build. However, ordering our indoor patio shade through them was a wonderful experience and extremely affordable. Ordered blinds from them and paid extra to have them come in three days. It's been five days and the number to call is not available over the weekend. The salesman gave me a number to call but it's not available on the weekend. He is at a funeral so I completely understand him being unavailable. However I don't understand him saying his manager does not talk to customers. We ordered from them to get a black out shade right away so my one year old can nap during the day. However the lack of caring and customer service tells me the highly overpriced amount I paid was for a salesman commission. Blinds look great! But the customer service is terrible. We had our blinds installed today. Well over a month from when we ordered. Once they were installed, one of the blinds in the bedroom was already broken. Was old it would take another month to get a new one. After the installer left, we could not get the remote to work on 2 other blinds. Turns out that the installer said that the battery was dying in the remote (not sure how as it was brand new), and he could not "program" it, due to this. So in a short time we will not be able to use the blinds at all. Keep in mind that this is my master bedroom. We moved into a house that had a bedroom with a big (and I mean big) window without drapes or blinds. Because of the size of the window, I was having a hard time finding drapes and with this serving as the soon to be Baby D's nursery, we needed blinds and we needed them soon! Enter 3 Day Blinds. Thanks to my Yelp search, I saw that 3 Day Blinds seemed to be a good option and so I looked them up online. They offer free in-home consultations and so I scheduled on online right then and there. Within an hour, I was contacted by Barbara to confirm my appointment. Barbara showed up promptly and was incredibly friendly to work with. She got straight to the point and measured the window and then went over options with me. For the size of the window and the quality of the blinds you're getting, the pricing was pretty reasonable and knowing that this is a long term necessity, we decided to order them. They were installed withing days of Barbara coming out to give the quote and they look great! I highly recommend 3 Day Blinds if you need new blinds for your house. I also highly recommend checking the house you purchase to make sure each window has blinds so you can save yourself some money too! read more

The installers are outsourced, my installers that came out had an experienced guy and a new guy. new guy scratched walls, installed wrong. 4. My consultant, Rene Summers, contacted me Saturday night to confirm our appointment for Sunday at 12:00pm. On Sunday late morning, Rene texted me to say she was running late and would be there around 12:30pm. My husband, my 78 year old mother, and I went to our new house (still under construction) at 12:30pm and waited in the heat for Rene. A little after 12:30pm, Rene texted again and said she was 15 minutes out. Finally, around 1:05pm, we couldn't wait in the heat any longer, so I called Rene. She did not answer, so I left her a message stating we were leaving, but the door was open so she could go measure. We left, but drove past the house about 30 minutes later and she was still not there. I never received a call, text, email, let alone a quote from her. This is completely unprofessional and rude to leave us in the heat, waiting for our appointment, and just not show up. We will not be using 3 Day Blinds because of our poor experience and will most definitely not recommend 3 Day Blinds to any of our friends and family. read more

3 Day Blinds? Try 3 Month Blinds. This was one of the worst installation and customer service experiences we have had during the renovation of our new home. We decided to have professionals come in and measure for blinds to ensure they fit properly, and were properly installed. Well, if that's you're expectation, don't use this company. First they tell me that a portion of the order can't come in three days, it will be several weeks. When they tried to install the first half of the order the main blind in the bedroom was mis-measured or mis-cut. Either way, it had to be remade. I then tried to cancel the rest of the order, and they gave me the run-around so long that it was too late to cancel. I will never use this company again, and I strongly recommend you avoid them as well. read more

When we bought our house, the existing blinds were horrible and falling apart. I knew I wanted shutters and Gary Gilbert happily showed us all our options. Which are a ton. We had different moldings around half of the windows and he came up with a great solution for each. I love them! They help keep the house cool when closed and look beautiful when opened. We are very pleased with the look and style. He also helped us pick out shades for smaller windows as well. With the help of Akilah Thomas (3 Day Blinds Quality Assurance) the Roman shades we first ordered on April 2 were reordered and installed on October 25. The shades are well-made, the fabric is good quality, and they look quite nice on our three long dining room windows. Thanks to Jack of Rayline Installers in Mesa the measurements were finally correct and his installation was excellent. If our salesperson and the first two customer service reps had assisted us with correcting the mistakes early on I would give 3 Day five stars. After five months of aggravation, however, the bottom line is that only Akilah and Jack deserve a five-star rating. read more

3 Day blinds: Designer lady comes to house and measures and we pick our shades. Day 9, 2nd person comes in to measure. Day 19, installer comes - blinds don't fit. We had to interrupt our installer's phone call (over 10 minutes long) to ask about the incorrect fit. He measures again and says they will have to cut them and we will "probably get them next week". After my post on Yelp I received a call from 3 Day Blinds. They were apologetic about the lack of communication that took place and wanted to update me on the status of my order. The last item was received by the installer and all Blinds are to be installed on 9/19. I had a frank discussion about my feelings about the company. I spend an additional $400+ to select a product that was in stock. I asked if the company could possibly split that additional cost with me. I am to get an update about my request by close of business tomorrow. It was nice to hear from them but it was sad after talking to two staff members a month ago that I had to use Yelp. I was asked to make another post as a sign of good faith. I read the message from 3 Day Blinds to my post. I find it interesting they state the fabric went out is stock shortly after my order was placed. I placed the original order on August 6th. It was around August 24th I was advised of the outage. I placed my new order on August 29th. That may be "shortly" to them but to me almost three weeks isn't "shortly." read more

Real quick, ordered (3 day lol) blinds the vertices were delivered, head rail severly bent, Installer apologized said he never saw that before, they reordered, SECOND attempt for installation, head rail was once again, damaged. We canceled the order asked for a refund and he said we would be getting a return call, 2 weeks later no call. Called and they refused to give us a refund and said they can only reorder. There is NO CUSTOMER SERVICE. We are going further with this gross negligence. It is unbelievable that we have to fight for a refund based on their error. Measure and order taking was proficient. However despite calling themselves 3 day blinds , they still attempted to charge me $318 extra dollars to have the blinds expedited. I refused this charge and the blinds were ready a few days later anyway. Very dubious. The installation was horrific. The installer was surly. Had attitude about moving his vehicle parked blocking a neighbors garage. Had to be instructed about blinds and then proceeded to install one blind on the wrong window. After a conversation where he accused me of instructing him to do this (ludicrous), he put it on correct window. Now holes in new drywall. Then he installed three blackout blinds in the master bedroom back to front with the blackout facing into the bedroom and the company label facing in Again he blamed both me and the company saying the blinds were wrong and needed to be reordered. The installation company which appeared to be third party responded by saying the installer was very competent. Just don't use this company. They are a joke. Also very much more expensive than the competition which I have used and the wall mounting brackets are very cheap. read more

DO NOT buy from this company. Purchased $4k+ of Roman Shades for dining room and within a week one of the shades clutch and shaft broke and two others are faltering when lifting or lowering. I called for service and there was no follow through. I followed up with my Consultant and again called the call center who resubmitted the service repair call. Two weeks later a tech arrives, discovers the broken clutch and shaft and calls for parts order. Now another 5-7 days for parts to be received locally and then only will the tech be scheduled to come back out - probably another two week wait like the last time. I've had the shades 8 weeks and one of them has been out of action for 7 weeks. I wrote several emails, left voice mails and spoke to customers and still no credit. Once they had my payment they were MIA. I was heartbroken because I really didn't like one of the blinds - nothing wrong with it, just didn't like my design choice. I called to ask if there is anything we can do, or did I just make a very expensive mistake? My sales rep gave me the 800 number, and they offered to open up a case. This is my first review I have written on yelp. So here is my story. I met with my design consultant and everything was going swimmingly. I choose to do Shutters on the downstairs. The installer came out to my home, made the measurements, and after about 8-10 weeks my shutters were complete. The installer came out to complete the shutters while I was at work. Once I got home I noticed the frames on all 10 windows had scratches on them. I made contact with 3 Day Blinds and after emailing and calling them multiple times they finally got back to me and sent the installer back out to inspect the frames. The installer took pictures of the scratches and said 3 day blinds would be calling me to resolve the issue. Now the email and calling game was back on. My case Manager Anthony Esposito has been horrendous. He is neither timely in his responses or efficient in his resolution of the issue. He finally called me after Multiple attempts of me trying to get ahold of him. He informed me he was going to order new frames. He then told me he would give me a follow up call with an ETA for the frames. Its now been two weeks and I have not heard anything from him. I keep trying to get ahold of him but he has just decided to ignore me. Customer service is a crucial part of any business and it seems once 3 day blinds gets their money all other considerations go out the window. read more

I don't know where to start with my horrible experience with this company... I purchased shutters 5 months back. We were told the shutters would take around a month to be installed. When the shutters arrived 3 of the 5 didn't even fit, instead of manufacturing a new shutters, they shave the wood down to fit into the window opening exposing unpainted wood, the hinges weren't all matching aged bronze, I could honestly go on and on. We were told everything was being taken care of, and here we are now 5 months later and the customer care rep for 3DB is saying that they can do nothing more to help. Nothing was fixed, replaced, or made right. $3,000 spent on shutters that look horrible. The salesman was absolutely great! Unfortunately he doesn't have a good company to back him. 3 Day Blinds is the worst company I've ever done business with. I strongly suggest using a different company for any of you're window covering needs. read more

Buyer beware! This company is nothing but a fraud ! I started my project in early March. I spent over 10k with them and look it's late June and they just finished finished. But yet they call themselves "3 day blinds" . They came out originally to install late March. There were 4-5 items that were broken or ordered wrong . Figured no problem this will get fixed let's give them a little slack and be patient . They have came out a total of 8 different times. First time after install they came out the driver forgot the blind he was suppose to put up had to drive back and get it . He went and got it turned out to be the wrong one and had to reorder again . Second time they came out same situation the blind Had to be taken back and reordered again . This happened 7 times in a row. Every time they've come out something is either too big, too small or ordered wrong. My case manager Nelson during this time period wasn't answering any phone calls and was no where to be found . Finally after a week and a half of calling and leaving voicemails he got back to me via email not even a phone call! Very apologetic and offered a measly discount. Figured ok let's just be a little more patient even though it's been over 2 months at this point. After this conversation they showed up a few weeks later only again for something to be wrong . Contacted Nelson to express my anger and frustration to which he didn't really seem to care . He expressed that since they gave me a "great deal" that he doesn't believe they should need to do anything else for me and that i pretty much had to deal with it. I've been in the customer service/ retail business for 15 years and never in my life have i seen anything like this. Point of the story is it took 3 and half months in order for them to complete my project. Blinds are nice and what i wanted but the customer service is just unacceptable and horrific. They are very unprofessional and have no idea what they are doing. There are plenty of companies out there with the same exact blinds! Do not waste your money here !
