    Pad see ew
    Catherine P.

We were ono for some Thai food and thankfully, Thai street food was close by and open. We ordered a bunch of plates to share family style. Pad see ew, pad Thai, red curry, green curry, chicken skewers, and spring rolls. My favorite was the red curry with pad see ew. The red curry was nice and spicy with lots of flavor. I just wish the portion of the curry was bigger. The pad see ew also was surprising and had tons of flavor. The pad Thai was a bit sweet and more wet than I am used to. The papaya salad we ordered with the curry plate was interesting. Not as papaya tasting or tangy as I would have hoped. There wasn't a strong fishy taste to it which is good if you aren't into that. The BBQ chicken skewers had a lot of sauce on them. Like another review mentioned it was cooked and then sauced. All the flavor on top but not much in the chicken. I would go bad for the pad see ew and would have just a portion of red curry without rice. There are seats out front but we took it back to the hotel because the view of the cliffs and ocean is a lot better.

Spring rolls stuffed with fresh healthy veggies! Drinkable sauce is fantastic!

Deliciously massive portions of heartwarming healthy and fresh authentic Thai food. Awesomely friendly speedy service! They treat me like family because I eat at all their locations bringing my baby granddaughter who absolutely loves their fresh delicious healthy SPRING ROLLS! Beautifully serene atmosphere with gorgeous garden surroundings, it's a miracle how Anatta's transformed this parking lot into an eating oasis! My favorite is Combo Pad Thai tofu with papaya salad because it's mouthwatering flavors and vegetarian healthiness hits all the high notes!

I was starving after arriving on Kauai, passed by this food truck on my way back to the airport to pick up my friend and decided to do this instead of fast food. Located in a parking lot, they seem to have a rather permanent presence with the inclusion of a tent offering shade for about three tables. Be prepared to share the space with Kauai's ubiquitous mascot (see photo of chicken on table ... not the bbq skewers, but our new feathered friend). My friend and I split a shrimp pad thai and two bbq skewers ... that and a couple of Doet Cokes totaled about $31, about what you'd spend in Honolulu. We were starving so it was pretty good. The pad thai was on the sweet side and the shrimp were plump and juicy - wish there was more of it, but I get that everything's pricey these days. BBQ chicken didn't seem marinated but was sauced on the grill or immediately afterward. It was a well balanced sauce.

We came here on a weekday and the wait was very reasonable, around 10-15 minutes. We ordered the pad Thai, egg rolls, and a bbq chicken skewer. The pad Thai with tofu was standard, though I think the pad Thai could have used a little more of the sour kick that I'm used to. I was kind of disappointed with the egg rolls, which didn't have the standard southeast Asian flavors and was more like a bland egg roll you can find in a Chinese restaurant. My partner really enjoyed the bbq chicken stick, which was fresh and had good flavors. There's a grill outside of their food truck that I could tell they were using to cook things made to order.

The food truck is located in the Ace hardware parking lot. They have really nice tables setup with plants around the truck/tables. They have most of your traditional thai items on the menu (pad thai, red/green/yellow curry, papaya salad, spring/summer rolls, combo plates). Soda, water or coconut water for drinks. We tried the red, green curry and a combo plate. We got a headsup that the food will take 15mins. They were made per order and came pipping hot. The food was decent (do not expect coming here to find the best thai food). Pretty good for what you can find on the island. Friendly service and they do accept cards.

Great thai food location! Large portions, quick & friendly service. Option to order online as well, food truck has outdoor seating with cover. Ordered the springs rolls with shrimp! So fresh & enjoyed the peanut chilis sauce that comes with. Also ordered fried rice & yellow chicken curry. Fried rice was great and yellow curry was okay, not a whole lot of chicken. Paid around $60 for everything, could have split one item & an appetizer. Would definitely recommend for lunch or dinner. They are closed from 3:00-3:30pm everyday for lunch break.

My friend and I stopped by the food truck for a quick meal on our way to the airport. This was the perfect place for a pre-airport meal because the portions were huge. I ordered the Pad Thai (Chicken), which was flavorful and very filling. My friend got the Red Curry Combo (Chicken), which came with papaya salad and rice. The curry had the perfect consistency and included plenty of protein. When we stopped by here, it was pouring like crazy. The employee working on the truck was very sweet and gave us extra napkins to wipe down the bench we were sitting on. Since it's a food truck, your best bet is to take the food to go or sit at one of the picnic tables in the lot. Overall, if you're looking for a casual spot to grab some Thai food, this is your spot!

    Pad see-ew. So goooood!!!

We stopped by this food truck after we landed from the mainland and on our way to our hotel. We were going to go to Da Crack next door but it was busy so we walked over here. We ordered the veggie fried rice, pad see-ew and the yellow curry. We absolutely love Thai food and we were wondering how good this would be. All of us commented on how this is the best Thai food we've ever had. Each dish had amazing flavor, was cooked perfectly and we loved everything. We even commented on how we will be coming back for more. The workers were super sweet too. Overall a winner!!

Family fun and probably family run. This place gets a special 5star review because they deserve a bump for just being consistent and reliable. There are several Anatta's Thai food trucks on the island. One in Kapaa and Poipu. There #1 recommendation is there BBQ Chicken Stick. Order that with everything else on the menu. It will raise your experience to another level. I always order Veggie Fried Rice and the Summer Rolls, 4.5stars. Go with Yellow Curry at 4stars and keep going from there! Try it all and bring the family. Call your order in for the easiest experience, but they are such nice people you'll appreciate the 5star friendly window service. I cannot say enough for this food trailer parked in the corner of the lot. You cannot miss it, and you should definitely stop. Look for the red truck. That's me

Talk about the Aloha Spirit!…read more I'm only in town for the day until our ship leaves this afternoon. Walking through the town of Lihue I found this store and wouldn't you know it! They have exactly what I was hoping to find somewhere, Disc Golf equipment! Then I find that the store is closed today! This is a shared operation with a Barbecue business and the other half being Disc Golf. Well, it turns out that staffing issues had occurred and the only one staff member there was running the barbecue. Bummer. The Mrs ended up knocking on the closed doors and the proprietor came to see what she wanted. She explained I was hoping for some discs for my son who is an avid player, and as luck would have it, he stopped cooking long enough to help me purchase a couple of discs! Oh man that was so cool, plus he knew his stuff and helped me pick out two top quality discs. I got two drivers. One initial driver and a custom design fairway driver that they designed! At 171 for their custom disc, and 167 gr. for the other, these two will be seeing some use when we hit the mainland. While we're doing this, ah, the smell of the food started wafting over, but he was not nearly ready yet to start serving. I appreciate so much how this gentleman went out of his way to help a tourist pick out some gifts, when clearly he needed to be in the other side of the business managing his barbecue. My wife and I were staying very close by, so we made it a point to visit it during our week long stay in Kauai. The concept and beer selection was great, but the food tasted no different from what one would get from a cafeteria. It's important to check their hours when their food is offered, since it differs from their open hours. Currently food hours are 10:30 - 14:30, W-Sa (opening one hour earlier on Saturday). We came on Friday, and walked around the mall until their kitchen opened. It wasn't too busy yet, so was able to order and pay. While waiting, added two cans of alcohol, at which time the food was ready. Brought everything out to the common outdoor tables that can be used for dining. There is a large choice of local beers in cans, and we chose two: Lanikai Brewing Company's Pualani Sour Ale ($6) and Paradise Ciders (Honolulu HI)'s Lei'd Back Lilikoi ($3.50). Both were good, and would absolutely use this store to buy local beers to take back home in the future. Both of us love brisket, so got the brisket sandwich a la carte for $18.99, and added a side of cole slaw ($3) and Mac Salad ($3). It was a medium sandwich to begin with (used a hoagie type soft bun), but with so much bbq sauce mixed with the chopped brisket, it became more of a bbq sauce sandwich. The sauce itself was good, and the chopped brisked seemed OK, but the ratio was way off. The sides were OK with small portions. For $24.99, should have gotten better...even in a tourist area of Hawaii.
