3 Men Movers came highly recommended. I had to get them to wrap the antique furniture before they put it on the dolly, which they started doing thereafter. And I haven't found anything that was broken. However, I was not so impressed with their efficiency. One of the guys was really hustling, but the other two movers were only making about one trip in 3 compared the guy who was really getting things done. I think the move should have taken about 3 to 4 hours, but it took exactly 6 hours to finish. Additionally, one of the people I work with used them, probably had about the same amount of things to move, and the travel distance was much greater than mine, but it only took them 3 hours. I used 3 Men Movers last weekend for a move that included a stop at a storage facility. They did a great job. They worked non-stop and efficiently for almost 6 hours without taking so much as a break. They were careful with all the furniture, and all of it arrived in great condition. They even rearranged the storage facility in a more efficient way. I had heard good things about 3 Men, and I agree completely. A first-rate job. I WILL use them again. read more

We moved to our new place in the middle of August during our lovely 103 degree heatwave. When I first inquired about Three Men Movers I spoke with Analisa sp?) who was very knowledgable and friendly. She was patient over the phone and informed me of their policies. I thought it was too good to be true lol. After much thought and even thinking about it overnight we decided to use them. Fernando (the crew mgr called me the night before our move to make sure everything he had on his sheet was correct, etc.) I appreciated that because we were the first scheduled move and didn't want any miscommunication on the day of the move. Fernando, Jonathan, and Chris showed up the next morning. They were extremely professional, friendly, and honest. Even moving the furniture into the bedrooms they took thought in setting it up and not just putting it somewhere. This team/company was by far the best we have we used. Fernando did inform me that him and his crew would soon be moving to TMM Austin location. If I could I would give this team 10 stars that's how wonderful they were. The best moving experience that I have ever had! Tito Reyes and his crew are hands down the best movers. They arrived exactly on time and were incredibly efficient. They were also extremely professional. Not only did they get the job done, but they went above and beyond to make sure that I was a happy customer. I wish I could give them a 0 but 1 is the lowest I can go. I really should have written this a long time ago but I wanted to make sure there was no emotion attached to the experience I had. I hired them for moving and packing services. Packing was ok except when the ladies broke a red nail polish. They never told me and tried to sneak to clean it up, yet the smell told me what happened. They also ripped a 3M wall sticky which caused a tear on the wall. Yet, it doesn't stop there. They charge by the hour and I learned after they left that my neighbors saw the men hanging out inside the truck when I had to leave to check on my new place, yet they were billing me. The worse is that after I unpacked my things 3 days later, I found that one of the men urinated in my cooler. I was shocked because I allowed them to use my restroom during the move. When I called to speak to customer service, there response was this was the best crew ever and the most they could do was replace the value of my cooler. I felt completely violated and highly recommend you find another company. In the end, they charged me almost $1000 to move across the street. I also confirmed my appointment and the day of, they did not recall that I had a move and found a crew at the last minute that started at 11AM. I doubt the best crew available was able to be thrown together at the last minute (due to their disorganization of booking times). The only positive thing I can say is the initial manager that took my call was very apologetic and said he had never heard of someone urinating on their things. I am 100% sure it was urine because it was yellow and I checked the cooler days before because I was giving it away to someone. When I went to clean it 3 days later, I was confused to find smaller coolers (soft) wet and a residual of the yellow liquid at the drain of the cooler. They are the worse, especially for not believing me. They clearly do not screen their crews for mental issues. read more

ok, I move a lot so I can honestly say I have used them 3 times already. The first 2 trips were fast and easy. But on the last trip they stole a few items from my apartment including a hand gun I forgot to remove from under my mattress before they came. Needless to say I was VERY upset and I am certain they took it because the guy that handed me the paperwork to sign during my previous move asked me if I knew anyone selling fire arms after he noticed my pistol in another package. I'm a single female with no kids...still I know it careless for me to forget the gun under the mattress but that does not give them the right to take it!!! ugh...I had to file a police report and everything. read more

The only positive thing I have to say about 3 Men Movers is that (so far) I haven't found anything that was broken during the move. First, expect your actual charge to be about double what your original quote is. If you're looking for professionalism, this is not the moving company for you. The "crew" argued the whole time. "Ken", the ring leader, was more concerned about getting a good review than he was how "his crew" was doing loading the truck. He was quick to throw the other 2 under the bus, and made sure we knew these were not his normal guys. Very reassuring. Hugo, the "driver", should have his license taken away. I paid for 30 minutes of him trying to figure out how to back his truck into my long winding driveway, almost taking out my tree, while 3 of us yelled at him to turn the truck around and pull in forward. Evidently he couldn't figure out which way to turn the wheel. Ken's response was "that's why I don't deal with them". Nice. Finally, after my fiance yelled at him to pull out of the driveway & turn around, he did. It took them 4.75 hours to do a job they said they could "easily" do in 2. They stacked on top of boxes CLEARLY marked "FRAGILE" & about 1/3 of them were crushed under the weight. Thankfully we moved into our forever home & I'll never have to use them again. They made it very obvious you don't always get what you pay for. Highly disappointed. We were extremely pleased with the service from 3 Men Movers! We called them around 9:30 AM when our appointment with a different moving company we were planning to use fell through. Luckily, they had a crew available for same-day service and Carla told us to expect a call between 12-1 PM letting us know what time they would be able to come. We got a call before 1 PM from the crew and they were already outside our apartment! They were extremely careful with moving all our furniture, wrapping them in blankets and stretch wrap. They efficiently moved everything out of our old apartment and to our new apartment on the 2nd floor in just over 2 hours. The crew was also really nice and patient while we asked them to move some of the furniture around in the new apartment because we couldn't decide where to put them. HIGHLY recommend this company - although the price is a little steeper than others, it is worth every penny and you can rest assured that your furniture will be transported safe and sound! read more

This company is horrible! I just purchased my First home and I hire movers, 3 Men Movers to be exact. They were recommended by friends and family as an excellent moving company. On time, great service and really treat your belongings with care. Well 3 Men Movers sucked! Big time! Had to cancel the move on Friday when I took a whole day off to move because no one called to tell me they were running late and/or that they wouldn't be able to move me until 7:30/8:00 pm. I had to call them! They then couldn't reschedule me until Sunday at 7 am! I agree, wake up early and guess what. . . . They never showed or called! It took 3 hours for management to get back to me. When they finally called me back, they decided to remove my traveling fee but will get us moved today in the afternoon sometime when they finish the other job they're on. So, I was very skeptical about using another moving company since my last experience over 4 years ago was similar to a nightmare. I did research on at least 4-5 moving companies and landed 3 men movers due to the astronomical positive feedback from what appeared to be real custumers. The good things I can agree to was that that were prompt on time for a busy Monday morning. The move started out fine the first hour as they worked quickly getting all I had prepared for them out of my 2 bedroom apartment. Then they got to the master bedroom and saw the clothes filled walk-in closet. They immediately informed me they would not be able to move any of my clothes because I was suppose to request wardrobe boxes. Then I was told my 75 gallon aquarium was not included in the standard move even though it breaks down into 3 pieces to move easily. After going back and forth about this Kevin agreed to move the tank but put out a disclosure that they were not liable for damages. To top it off they get to my daughters wooden computer desk and it took all 3 of them to simultaneously try to figure our how to dismantle it for about 30 minutes (why). Kevin told me that most customers have this type of furniture already broken down for them to move....what?!? None of this was disclosed to me when I called to get the quote. Even though I felt they were a little overpriced, I couldn't help but remember the reviews and how comfortable I initially felt when I called at least 3-4 times asking more questions. At some point I got frustrated because of all of the above. I initially got Ramon on the phone who was very helpful and empathetic. Then Norma (customer service manager) called back to hear my concerns. Her responses were basically that I bought a cheap computer desk after Kevin sent her a picture of it and that it should never be moved or dismantled once it's set up the initial time (hence why it looked like the three if them were trying to figure out a trigonometry problem) and seemed to be insulting me, that I should have requested the wardrobe boxes as I was being probed by her sales representative and that I should have told them about the aquarium and I would have been informed of the norms. What I will say is that Kevin and his crew did a great job overall but I was highly disappointed about Norma's response to my concerns. I told her there should be a better line of questioning when dealing with inexperienced consumers. I thought I covered the norm questions and the only thing I was informed was that they won't move anything over 300pounds. Therefore, I didn't think I needed to go into gory details about the contents of my home as they should have been asking me these things after I told them I've only had one BAD experience. In addition, like I told Norna, every person who hires movers has clothes so wardrobe boxes should be provided considering their costs. The sales associate should ask every customer if this is something they need to avoid confusion. I literally had to get a friend and pay her husband to deliver my clothes to the next apartment in his truck. Another fee incurred after kicking out $700 bucks to transfer from the 3rd floor to the 2nd floor in the same complex and no compensation for some of their incompetences. Overall Kevin and his crew tried to move as quickly as possible and it took 5 hours total. I was very displeased with Norma's comments and the fact that she agreed with me on all but the desk yet still failed to offer any type of restitution aside from telling me what I should have mentioned. The line of questioning is too vague for most and they don't seem to consider that many people like myself don't know what information to volunteer unless prompted. Horrible got 2 crews of 3 and 2 large trucks paid 2k and they dented a brand new fridge threw boxes around carried in loose pillows in one at a time. Several of our items are broken including media room chair legs. They left for 45 minutes in the middle of the move saying taking a break with our items in their truck! They threw around a lab top and iPad that was on a chair not packed. Use another company!!!! read more

Besides the fact that they were inexpensive, the professionalism was incredible. I felt like I was part of their family and that they were taking care of one of their own. Not only were they quick, they were very meticulous and made sure all of my belongings were well taken care of. Once they would load a valuable into the truck, the would run back into the house to get the next item.....I felt that this was very respectful of my time and money. Used 3 men movers for the first time. ... was referred. The crew was on time and had good energy. Had to run an errand and before I left told the lead the refrigerator would not make it through the front door with the doors on. .... drove back up to find them forcing my 3K frig thru the front door without the removing the doors!! ..... scratched the handle. .. had to yell to get them to stop!.. ...I had to request they wrap some obvious items in plastic. .... several times I had to step in and help with items when they were using 2 guys to move something that they needed 3 for. Numerous disclosures that the sales person did not mention and I was caught off with. ... specifically that they are not responsible for any damage to any TVs that they move. ..... irregardless. They all spoke Spanish unless they were speaking to me. ....I thought that was disrespectful. ... do I really have to request that a crew speak English! This company is acceptable if you speak Spanish and watch them like a hawk. I would use someone else next time. .. read more

3 Men movers DO NOT USE. I called and got a quote for a very small 2 bedroom with only a very few item in my apartment. When truck pulled up to the apartment guys sat in truck for 25 minutes. After getting out of his truck the guy said when I pull up that's when the billing will start. The guy was lazy all he wanted to do was talk and stall for time. He called me the night before to confirm; I was scheduled for a 7.00 a.m. move, they were at the door before 7.00. I hired packers that were fast, 3 ladies but I missing a jawbone speaker worth 300 bucks. The 3 men who moved me were professional and careful but very slow to move me and I never saw them working efficiently as a team, but I could not baby sit as I was unpacking as they continued to move my items. Well, I was very skeptical initially because of prior moves with "other" companies. This was the first time I've use 3 Men Movers--NO LIE..they did exactly that...I too was blown away by their service (ERNESTO SALAZAR,MARIO SALAZAR, JOSE GUARDIOLA)...THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU..It took them 4 hours but not one second was wasted and trust me I was watching lol. I was suppose to be their second move of the day. After waiting the entire afternoon they finally show up at 5:30pm . These guys get paid by the hour and every time I looked in the back of their van one of them would be talking on his cell phone instead of moving my furniture. The truck was loaded around 9:30pm and we were ready for the trip to my new house which was about 50 miles away when the driver told me he needed to follow me to the house. He also said his truck had a regulator on it and he could only go 50mph on the freeway. Well as it turned out he only wanted to go 45 because he got so far behind me when I did 50 I had to slow down so he could catch up. I finally got my things unloaded and the movers left my house at 1:30am. This is the third house I have moved into. In comparison between my first and second move, the first was 80 miles, the movers showed up on time and it took those 3 guys 3 hours to do my entire move. Did I get gouged........3 hours first time, 8 hours the second time. What do you think. read more

Today my move was at 10 am, I was really disappointed by the move I received today. I had a clear plastic tub medium size with a lid that locks in place with all my personal items including my tooth brush; I packed these myself there was a separate box with my food from the refrigerator well somehow the stuff that I packed in the tub that came from the bathroom was taken out and mixed in with the food. I have no idea why they went in the tub there was no reason to open the lid. when I asked the guys they told me they didn't know that was how it was which was not true. because they had taped the food box in front of me and took it out but when it was taken off the truck it was taped up but twice as big with stuff from the clear plastic tub. I had tipped the guys each $25. But since they played stupid when it was obvious something happened, I called 3 men movers complained to the supervisor and ask them to return their tip back to my card a total of $75. I do not tip people who is shady. I really though 3 men movers was the best; but after this I will never used them again. This was my first time, they had good reviews so I went with them but they are not what you think they are. I looked in lots of boxes and still cannot find my toothbrush I put in the tub this morning and my shower curtain pins. Something happened on the truck. All they had to do was be honest. If the stuff had fallen just say so but they decided to play stupid. So People don't go by their reviews like I did there is a few rotten movers on their team. That is not a good team that came to me. one of them did something. My dog food that was tightly closed in a container was spilled in bags that it should not have been in. It was in a box but when they got to my home one of the guys walked in with it in his hand outside of the box where I had put it and asked me where do you want me to put it. These were by far the worst movers I ever encountered at $150 per hour. They were no good and what they did was despicable. Don't Trust their movers Tape up all your boxes real good because they steal. I looked at my food and to my surprise I just purchased some grapes and fresh cranberries yesterday a 2 packs for $5 I could not believe they had poked a hole in the cranberry bag and ate some what a dirty people. Also my shower curtains clips were fancy they took 8 from the 12 left me 4; and they even helped themselves to my grapes still in the Kroger shopping bags I never opened. These guy gave 3 men movers a bad name the company need to let them go. I will never use them again. these guys they sent to me are the Worst. It was a Nightmare. Please do not believe their reviews because you will find out the hard way. Its not the tooth brush that they threw away or the shower curtain clips that they took its the fact that I trusted them and they were totally bad people They were in my person stuff in a tub that has a lid and would not open unless someone unlock it. I called 3MM on the Monday and a friendly associate made a booking for 14h00 on the Wednesday to pack all my furniture into the container. On the Tuesday, I received a text from Milo stating that he and his team will take care of everything on the Wednesday. They arrived on time and started to load all the boxes. Some of the furniture were dismantled and required additional wrapping for my move to Florida. Everything fitted so nicely that there were room to spare as I had only 12' available. This is my first review after using 3 Men Movers 3 times. I will say up until my latest experience, I had been pleased with no complaints prior to. A little pricey I guess, but honestly, I don't mind paying it as I hate moving. They have always come when they said they would, no hidden fees, the men work quickly and efficiently, wrap items to prevent scratching, etc. I have worked with Alex and his crew on 2 of the 3 moves and they are always kind and professional. The reason I am giving 3 Men Movers 2 stars is due to my latest move, not so much due to the movers themselves but the claims process and insulting offer. One of the men had dropped an antique lamp/display piece. It is a tortoise shell with a light behind it. The shell was dropped, cracked, and a significantly large piece (approximately a foot long) of it is broken off. Alex immediately brought it to my attention and apologized. As unfortunate as it was, I understand accidents happen, and I figured I'd just follow up with their claims. Waste of time... I submitted my claim with several pictures clearly showing the damage. They offered me $20 for a piece I spent $500 for. The item is near impossible to find anywhere (I've looked). The ones I HAVE found were just traces of ones recently sold for $650 and $800. In their response to the claim the description said the item was, "Chipped." I feel they downplayed the damage to this item when it's obviously completely broken off and cracked in several places. They based the compensation off of the weight of the item. Who does that? Since when does the weight of an item determine it's worth? For items over 600 pounds they charge an additional $40 moving fee and $100 per flight of stairs. So if you have two flights of stairs that's an additional $240 they charge for one item. They expect you to dish out a significant amount of money to move a heavy item, however when they a break a valuable item that's 30lbs, don't expect compensation. Quick to take your money, hesitant to reimburse. I bet if I had broken one of their dolleys, I'd be paying at least $150, full price. All said and done, I'm insulted and offended by their response. Had I known my move 5 miles down the road would have cost me $500 PLUS this antique, I would have moved myself. Just know what you're getting yourself into. I wouldn't say don't use them, just don't allow them to move anything of value or something that would be seriously difficult to replace. Although Alex and his crew are good workers and get the job done, my beef is with the company. I will not be using them again. Best of luck with your move! ***Update*** In Nov 2016 I received a couple of calls expressing their apology and that they would make it right. I was asked what I thought would make it right. Other than replacing it or a cash offer of the amount I spent on the item, I didn't know what to say. It's now been 2 months and haven't heard anything from them, plus for some reason my review was removed. So here's a re-post and an update to it. I will follow-up if anything changes. These guys were amazing. I mean, they moved me super fast -- I have a LOT of stuff including over 100 very heavy boxes of books and they moved me in just 5 hours. I couldn't believe it. They started working the second they got there and did not play around at all or do anything to pad the time. They were all very polite, professional and respectful too. Everardo was the move leader and he really knew what he was doing and they all went above and beyond to make me happy. The whole move was $700 and let me tell you, it was worth every penny. Last time we moved my husband and I did it ourselves and by the time we rented a truck, took time off work, and broke and damaged stuff, we spent a lot more than that. Not only are they stronger and more experienced at moving, they have all the equipment, dollies blankets carts etc to make it go smoothly. None of my stuff was damaged either. He and his crew, Enrique, Tony, and Uriel moved our 5500 sq. ft. home in the most professional way possible and maintained amazing attitudes, even after a 12 hour day! Christian and Marlin arrived the first day to help pack--everything came out beautifully. Nothing broken.We have moved a lot but this was by far the best move we have ever experienced. About a month ago, I called around to "shop" for a moving company. After pricing out many moving companies, I choose to go with All My Sons Moving Company who I left a deposit with. One week before the move, 3 Men Movers calls me back, and catches me off guard. They started talking about my upcoming move as if they were the one's I chosen (and I don't believe that they actually said who they were, I assumed that they were the one's I hired) Anyway, They send me and itemized list of cost...I then knew that they were not the ones. When I went to inquire suddenly no one could understand me. This is a very expensive and shady company. I do not recommend to even ask them for a quote. read more

They were not professional and didn't seem to understand or want to understand that some things would not be packed. They left a number of boxes unsealed? And, there were a number of things they just chose not to pack of their own volition?? Ie items on the side of the bed, bath rugs, kitchen items. Yet, they packed pet food? (which we will have to buy again until we move and they were aware that out move date was not until five days or so).
