I recently hired this moving company, and while there were a few positives, my overall experience was extremely frustrating. To start with the positives, the movers were personable, nothing was damaged, and the move was ultimately completed. However, I did not hire movers for their personality - I hired them for efficiency and speed, and that is where they fell short. This was BY FAR the slowest moving experience I have ever had. I had a fully packed one-bedroom apartment, yet the move took nearly seven hours. With four movers, I expected a much higher level of efficiency and significantly faster progress. I have hired movers and moved several times before - including moves with two movers and even full-service packing - and those experiences were significantly faster and more cost-effective than this one with four movers. Throughout the day, there were multiple instances where the movers appeared to be standing around or not actively working. At times, none of them were in the apartment. There was no sense of urgency or coordination, and it often felt as though the pace was intentionally slow to extend the time spent on the move, which was very frustrating and disappointing. While there were minor delays due to the elevator not being reserved, the building has three elevators and minimal traffic. A more efficient approach - such as staging items near the elevator and moving them in batches -could have saved a considerable amount of time. I was also very disappointed that my instructions were not followed regarding my plants. I specifically asked that they be moved last, yet I later found that they had already been loaded and had items placed on top of them. If I had not caught this, they could have been seriously damaged. Additionally, they were left sitting in the truck in the heat longer than they should have been, which could have caused further harm. Overall, this move took far longer than it should have and cost significantly more than expected. Based on this experience, I would NEVER hire this company again. They lacked efficiency, urgency, and attention to customer instructions. read more

Very satisfied with 3 men movers. The pricing is fair and you get 3 people to move, which ends up being much more efficient for the hourly rate they charge. Anthony Murillo and his team genuinely did an incredible job with my long distance move from Houston to Tyler (3.5 hr drive). They arrived on time (they asked to start at 6 am as opposed to the usual 7 am to avoid traffic + rain). They very quickly packed all of my furniture and loaded all my boxes. With the three of them they were able to load everything in just over an HOUR! They wrapped everything well and transported things carefully. There's only minor damage to one item that I've noticed so far but I'm fine with it. They drove the distance and arrived to the destination earlier than anticipated because we avoided rush hour traffic. They unloaded everything and reassembled as requested. What was originally estimated to be a 7 hour move (1.5 hr load, 4 hr drive, 1.5 hr unload) ended up being just over 5 hours due to their diligence. I ended up paying much less than anticipated for very high quality work because they worked so fast and efficiently. Highly recommend this crew and this company! read more

The movers did not properly wrap my tv's and they put them on the end of the truck.... So when they got to my new location both tv's fell off the truck. I was then told it may take up to 90 days to replace my tvs even though the drivers admitted it was their fault. I have both receipts for the tvs which were not even a year old and they don't want to pay full value for them. Everytime we call they blow us off and tell us it should be handled by the end of the week but still havent heard anything.... read more

Seriously the best moving company in town! We used them once about 10 years ago and recently used them this month when we downsized from our house to an apartment building. They were easy to reach and speak to online and via text message. Booking is easy and quick, they were able to accommodate us for a last minute move within a week of our closing date. We booked packers for the day before our move and Elva and her team were fantastic. They arrived on time and quickly moved throughout our house packaging all our belongings up and labeling each box efficiently. They were kind, well-organized, and fast. On moving day, our 3 movers arrived 15 minutes early to assess our belongings and walk thru the house before the move. Miguel and his team were amazing! They were friendly, extremely polite, and respectful. They took care to wrap our TV's carefully and also dismantle/put together our furniture for the move. We had to get a storage mid-move (as we had too much stuff) and they moved out the furniture accordingly without any hesitation. I hired Three Men Movers for packing services before an out-of-state move. While the packing crew was polite and efficient, several items were damaged during the process, including a large scratch my 65in television (which the team acknowledged at the time) and the poor packing job resulted in significant bed frame (not sure why you wouldn't wrap/cover a cream bed frame when being packed into a truck). What was most disappointing, however, was how the company handled the situation afterward. For over four months, I followed up repeatedly regarding their damage coverage, and was consistently told their standard course of compensation/processing with the TxDMV applied to my move. After weeks of providing documentation and waiting for updates, I was then informed I was indeed not covered for my move after all. Despite clear evidence of damage and admission from their crew, I was offered only $120 for both items, and told by Three Men Movers that my only recourse was to pursue legal action if I wanted more. I understand that accidents can happen during a move, but the lack of transparency, accountability, and follow-through in resolving this issue was extremely disappointing. I would not recommend this company to anyone expecting professionalism or integrity in how post-move issues are handled. read more

We used 3 Men Movers for two previous moves. Never an issue. This third time a nightmare. Truck wasn't big enough. My Michael Kors wallets tossed in a green trash bag with a dirty rug. My VS bras thrown on top of the bedroom lamps and packed. Once moved into the new home boxes were not place where they were marked. I had to bring them back out to fix the water hook up to the washing machine as the valve was broken by the first crew and my washer did not have enough water pressure to function. Also found out as I was unpacking my freezer bags had been used for some of my items. How special considering the cost of materials we were charged. Plus all the items from the attic were not put in the attic at the home. Even though we were promised another crew would come out. Nope I will be paying yet another person to do this as they have yet to assist. Find anyone else to do your move. I will never use again!! read more

3 Men Movers destroyed a brand new expensive mattress by storing it sideways and with heavy boxes on top in a storage unit (See photos). They also destroyed a family heirloom and multiple containers, and broke some glass. When I submitted a claim, they refused to cover any of these items costs (not $1 back) because the claim was past their 90 day window (even though everything was in storage so there was no way to know what they had done until I started to unload the unit). Extremely disappointing, and now I own an accordioned mattress that I cannot sleep on properly and cannot afford to replace. Zero stars if I could give them. Use someone else who is willing to take responsibility for their unprofessional work. read more

You need to hire movers that care about what they move. They put expensive leather and all wood furniture upside down on the floor of the pods doing hundreds of dollars of damage. Placed boxes marked fragile and "this side up" sideways, upside down and with heavy objects on top. Scraped many pieces of furniture that they did not care to wrap. We had an outside repair company give us a quote to fix what was damaged. But to make matters worse, they only paid a fraction of the damage. They said it was company policy. We still had to wait 3 months to get paid. Worst movers and customer service we ever used. Use someone else. read more

We hired 3 men movers for a job today. They arrived early which we appreciated and were professional throughout the entire process. We had paid for 2 trips and on the second trip I had given them specific instructions for the remainder of the items and they left behind mutliple pieces of furniture including a refrigerator, 8 large lamps, desk chairs, dollys, almost 20 boxes in total were left behind because they weren't "fully closed". We had even bought a bunch of those black bin totes from lowes and they took the lids but then left the totes at the house. Almost half if the boxes that were left behind actually were closed all the way as well. We are having to spend the rest of our day now taking multiple trips with the CRV to retrieve the remainder of our belongings. I tipped all the works $40 and told them what they had left and that they were completely capable of taking 75% or more of the remaining items to the new house and chose not to. My husband and I called to complain and we were told that if we wanted a 3rd trip that we would have to pay the full price minus the trip fee. Worst customer service I've experienced in a while. Update: i forgot to mention that we are taking pictures to put the house on the market on the 1st. This was an urgent job and they left us in rough waters without a paddle. Do yourself a favor -- hire ANYONE else. This move broke my heart. 3 Men Movers in Houston turned what should have been an exciting cross-country move into an absolute nightmare. They were unprepared, careless, and left us scrambling at the worst possible time. Here's what they did wrong -- right away: Damaged our walls and door frames with their dollies, bumping into everything. Packed so sloppily that we had to rent an extra storage pod AND hire another moving crew the very next day -- right before closing. The context: We had a tight timeline: Pod delivery: Wednesday Movers scheduled: 8 AM Thursday House closing: Friday When our moving pod arrived early on Wednesday, I felt a wave of relief -- we called immediately, hoping the movers could come sooner to give us more time. It took 1.5 hours for them to confirm -- and they sent what was clearly a last-minute, unprepared crew. One mover was over 70 years old and struggled badly with heavy items. I specifically asked that furniture be loaded first, because boxes were easy for my husband and I to handle later. I also gave clear instructions for fragile marble slabs: keep them upright, secure them properly, and protect them well. Instead, they: Showed up with ZERO moving blankets or ratchet straps -- not even to sell on-site (basic moving standard!). Loaded all the small boxes first, leaving the biggest furniture behind. Ignored my clear instructions about the marble until I basically begged -- then shoved it in last, unsecured. Used almost none of the moving blankets I'd bought myself from Amazon. Left most furniture completely unwrapped and exposed for a cross-country move. Because of them, I am sick with worry that my furniture and keepsakes will arrive scratched, broken, or ruined. Please, do not hire 3 Men Movers. They cost us extra money, wasted precious time, and turned a stressful move into something I wouldn't wish on anyone. read more

They did show up on time and started moving my things out of my house quickly at first. Then it seemed like they slowed progress down quite a bit. I had gotten the 48 ft. truck with four men. I not only had them but I had five family members at my house to help. My family not only helped but had their vehicles loaded with things. I had colored coded all my boxes and bags along with writing on them which room they belonged in. They did not follow it very well. I had some cold bags that had frozen foods in them which should have been placed in the kitchen but a week later, I still have not found them. Therefore when I do ever find them, I will have to throw the whole bag away. I have been unpacking in the kitchen and yesterday a box that was clearly marked stereo in big bold letters was at the bottom of the stack. The stereo definitely goes in the living room. I was taking a couple of bags out of my car and one of the guys said let me help you with that. I told him that these were the most important items. One was my medicines. I have to take a lot of medication because I am a transplant patient. It took me a while to find my medicine bag. The other one was my husband's ashes. He passed away this past November and I have not had time to bury them at the cemetery in Cleveland where I moved to. It took two days to find them. Simple instructions and the guy couldn't follow them. I have a Sleep Number Bed which was working fine when it was taken apart. Now it's not working y. It keeps saying that there is a connection problem. They are supposed to be able to take them down put them back together. I had to file a claim with them for it and was told that it could take up to 90 days to resolve it. The girl I spoke with in the claims department even told me that I should call Sleep Number and have them come out. So she wanted me to call, pay for a service call and pay to have it fixed. I told her that I paid a lot of money for this move and that it was their place to fix it. It took 11.75 hours for them to move it. I have moved before and used movers and it never ever took this long. Before the move, my sister's daughter in law and granddaughters moved three loads to my new house, one of my nieces and I moved the majority of my clothes. Her car was loaded and so was mine. The day of the move, we had five vehicles loaded down and my family loaded and unloaded their own vehicles. Overall it was not the best experience with Three Men Movers. If I have ever move again and which I hope not, I personally will go with another company. read more
