They were very efficient - did the entire move in under two hours, including about 25 minutes of drive time. I don't want to say the whole company is bad but they should definitely watch who they hire. The crew that moved us in the beginning of October, thought it was cool to hold on to, two of my boxes, thinking they weren't going to get paid. Although they were paid, they still took off with my belongings and some how the boxes ended up with a whole different moving company and in someone else's household. Before I state how my things returned, let me first say that these people acted as if they had no clue what could have happened and after I explained to their customer service team that the crew leader was very demanding about the payment and I feel like my things were kept, the customer service representative started to talk about B.S. that had absolutely nothing to do with my concerns. One of the boxes that were kept had my daughters ashes in the box and I suffered mentally and emotionally behind my daughters remains. I'm highly pissed with this company for hiring such insensitive human beings and I thank the Good Samaritan who went out of her way to get my daughters remains back to me, a month in a half later. After a nice conversation with the lady, she stated that she used a company by the name of "1st choice storage" and my question is how the hell does that happen? Maybe because a crew member is working for both 3 men movers and the company listed above, at the same time!? I'm more than sure. I say all of this to say, if you choose to allow this company to move you, please be sure to watch them and make sure all of your things are out of the truck. I did receive BOTH boxes with NOTHING missing so I am thankful that nothing was taken. Although some things could have been replaced, my daughters remains could have not been replaced. read more

I was quoted $150/hr for a move on Mondays and Thursday with a minimum two hours PLUS an $81 trip charge. I'm literally moving blocks away. This company may be great but their rates are so far the most excessive. read more

I moved from Houston to Austin with 3 men movers & I cannot sing their praises enough. From the beginning, I was consistently impressed with each step of the process, even with the professional man who answered the phone and took me through the process. I loved that they emailed you the day before the move with a photo of your team leader (feels extra safe that way) and information regarding the move and contact info in case you have questions. Gonzalo was the team leader for my move, and they arrived early to my apartment complex. They used the stairs with all of my belongings (moved from 2nd floor) and they did not damage a single item!! They loaded the truck in less than 90 minutes, got to Austin maybe 15 minutes after I did, and unloaded in about an hour. I used this company for my mother's business move. The movers get 5 stars, their packing service gets ZERO stars. Packing ladies showed up and they were mostly standing around doing nominal works looking around and at each other's trying to log more hours. My mother is older, that's why I hired the packing service and you could put right tell them they didn't want to work and was dragging work to log in more hours. When questioned, the "leader" said they were trying not to damage the material. PLEASE . I ended up calling my family members to come out to help and ended up releasing the packers early. They called us 30 minutes before the appointment to let us know they were on the way and got started as soon as they arrived. We decided to use this company last weekend for our move from our Galleria 3 story apartment to our home in Spring Branch. Our movers were supposed to arrive at 8am to begin the day. We called them at 8:30 to see where they were and it seems that they had "mechanical issues with the truck". They finally arrived at 9:45 and said "it's ok because we don't charge you until we start working". I suppose my time and schedule are far less important than theirs. The lead worker was pleasant and seemed helpful but his two crew were very unprofessional the entire time. They were carrying on conversations with extremely vulgar language for the time that they were at the apartment. I guess they think they are the only ones that speak Spanish. We did have tons of loose items that they worked around and the 3 flights of stairs didn't help the situation but it was brutally slow. Thing is, there was more conversation taking place than actual moving items. Several items were left at the apartment because there wasn't room in the truck. I told them I'd meet them at the house to unload and they said that they were going to stop for a 20-30 minute lunch that I wasn't going to be charged for. Their lunch break took just over 2 hours, when I complained to them, I was told they had bad service at the restaurant. Whatever, they got everything moved in to the house and finished quickly. They didn't put the mirror back on my wife's makeup table and I have no idea where the hardware is. Guess I'll hunt it down, as my labor is a lot cheaper and invaluable than theirs. The total bill was $750, which I feel is way out of line. I won't be using them in the future. read more

My son sold his house and needed to move his belongings to Baytown. We had an appt with another moving company the Saturday before and not only were the two guys late but told us after looking at things to be moved that they could not get belongings in the 10 x 10 rented storage. I asked my FB friends if anyone knew a GOOD moving company and one recommended "3 men" moving company. They showed up promptly and looked over the things that needed moved and Ricky said he could get the things in the allowed space. These guys are the BEST! I don't think I suffered any damage to furniture or houses during the moves out and in. The moved everything quickly. HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE Quality of service was frightening. They showed up with out proper tools. They were on the phone alot making personal calls. They took a break every 30 mins. They stole my fine china out of my china cabinets. Priceless wedding crystals, stemware, and china memories all washed down the drain. They also took the longest route and got loss riding the clock. We spent $950 to move a 4 bed room house( the cost of a professional moving company). They delivered at new address and left items disorganized and still shrink wrapped with their blankets. I had Team Ashley helping me pack yesterday. Lupe and Claudia were on Ashley's team; and I could not have asked for a better team of women to come in and help me pack. They were friendly, efficient, and kind. I worked along side them, but believe me, these three women know what they are doing and were much better at packing that I am! They kept track of the materials they used, as I had some of my own. The price at the end was very fair. We worked well together and got the job done. I feel like I had my friends in to help! These guys were very professional, packed the truck right, not one scratch.. they were helpful, polite and worked hard. I have moved 7 times in the last 8 years. I've always used the cheapest mover because all the moves were local and I thought probably all moving companies were the same. My last move in April of 2016 was a disaster. Broken furniture, missing boxes, etc. Not a bargain. So this time when I needed a mover, I chose 3 Men Movers based on reputation, reviews and experience here in Houston. What a difference! My crew showed up at 7:30 am and got started within minutes of arrival. They were polite, careful, organized, efficient and super fast. Everything arrived at the new place in good condition. They showed up at 7:45 am 15 minutes earlier than what I was first quoted so I had a lot of lady minute things I thought I had time to load in my car and pack up. I was very excited about scheduling my move with them because of their awesome reviews. However my experience today was horrible and sent me into a panic. After being told I was the 2nd move of the day from my "mover concierge," I asked would their be an estimated time frame... she said no, but I did not have a problem with that seeing how I took off from work. Long story short I was told by one of the movers that they would not be able to make it to me in time because their first move was larger than expected. This info was given to me after they called me two or three times to give me updates on what was going on (that is why I gave them 2 stars ). The final straw was when the mover called me and told me to call the office and ask to speak to Laura... who by the way was OFF for the day. ANYWHO ANYHOW... I ended up finding someone who could move me at the LAST MINUTE for much cheaper. I paid about 70% less than what I would have paid with 3 Men Movers and I still got 3 men and exceptional service. The guy that was in charge of the other 2 was polite and professional. The other 2 young men were not. They banged up my furniture, boxes got crushed that stated "glass" and they seemed to be moving slower than I have ever seen a mover work. I usually use 2 men and a truck for my moved but went with 3 men movers thinking with 3 people it would go faster. That was not the case at all. 2 men and a truck moved twice as much content from my house (on the NW side of Houston) made a stop at my storage unit and then to my apartment (Montrose) and got it all done in 3.5 hours. This team moved my belongings from a one bedroom apartment into another apartment that was across the street and it took them 4.5 hours. The movers didn't speak English very well so when I was trying to tell them to be careful or hurry up they didn't understand anything. (One of them even used my bathroom to release a bowl movement) A few times I went outside to see what was going on because I had not seen them in a while and I saw the 2 younger men playing with the dollies and running and laughing like children. Overall I feel like I overpaid for less work and I am not Happy with 3 men movers. I will not be recommending them to anyone and will encourage people if they want a fast, efficient, and stress free move to look elsewhere. read more

My husband and I recently moved from a 3-bedroom 3-story townhouse into a 1-bedroom apartment temporarily, so most of our stuff has to be stored in a storage unit. Since I am almost 8-month pregnant, we decided to hire packing service and moving service provided by 3 Men Movers. Rosse and her crew did a great job on the packing. The next day, Timo and his crew performed the moving service and they did a fantastic job with the move. They wrapped big furnitures and securely moved them ensuring they safely get to the destination, whether it's the storage unit or the apartment. They worked very efficiently and carefully. We used a different moving company last time (a few years ago) thinking we would save money a bit, but all they did was get-in-and-get-out type deal in which they didn't really care much about our stuff; we later found some damages (to the furnitures and to the house) caused by the other movers. Although 3 Men Movers may have a higher rate compared to some other moving companies, but I would say it's worth it. The next time we move, we will definitely call them again, and if I can, I would ask for Timo and his crew. read more

I made the reservation a month in advance and was given a good quote with a 2 hour minimum. The move was conmpleted in 1.5 hours, including loading & unloading, travel time, setting up bed and helping to get into my accidentally locked car. These guys were awesome. I called them after firing a different moving company and they accommodated me that same day. They way exceeded my expectations. I learned that moving companies are like rental car companies - you get what you pay for in a very tangible way. While 3 Men Movers is relatively expensive, it's 100% worth it. Not only were the movers professional, knowledgeable and fast, but their back office called me mid-move to make sure everything was going well. I used 3 men movers to move my one bedroom apartment from Houston to Dallas. They charged only a one time travel fee plus an hourly rate. I had done my research. Their prices were very reasonable. The truck showed up about 10 minutes early to my 7 am appointment. They loaded up my one bedroom apartment in about an hour. It took a little longer to unload since my new apartment is far from where they could park, but I never felt like they are taking extra time since they are on an hourly rate. Overall everyone was really nice, and I could not have asked for a better moving experience. read more

Then they drove the furniture to the Apartment, unloaded quickly and efficiently. When finished unpacking, they put together our bed and completed the job. UPDATE: 3 Men Movers and I have come to a settlement that is no different that they do for others. It is $.60 per pound of damaged product and they have also sent someone to fix my desk. We will see how it turns out. I cannot however in good faith raise my rating or change my feelings. The bottom line is, and please take note, that the whole "BONDED AND INSURED" advertisement is a joke. They clearly lead you to believe your products are fully protected. Nothing else is mentioned until the day the movers show up. Then the movers say a few disclaimers at warp speed and have you sign. If you do not sign and agree to their terms then they will not move your furniture. Now maybe some people are flexible enough to decline the move after learning their true insurance policy, but I'd venture to say that most are pretty much lock into that move date..thus being bent over a barrel with little alternative. It is worth nothing that a friend of our family was preparing to use 3 Men to move his 6 bedroom, 11,000sq foot home but after hearing of our story he has decided to use another company. I'm not saying that 3 Men is a terrible company, or the worst, in any way. I'm only warning people to know what to expect if bad things happen to your possessions. If you use 3 Men Please Take the Following Precautions: 1. Request an all English speaking crew 2. Ensure no contract drivers or owner operators are sent. Only their regular crew 3. Get private insurance on your belongings Original review below. My bad review is based on DAMAGED FURNITURE and slow response time when time sensitive repairs are needed. It's also worth noting that the lady who answers their phone is extremely difficult to understand, I do not think English is her first language. From my experience customer service should always be the best speakers you can find. I used 3 Men because I had heard they were great. I'll keep it short and sweet. I went through my house with a fine tooth comb to search for damaged furniture before their arrival. It's also understood that their movers point out noticeable damage as they find it. A lot of my furniture had minor scratches and dents. The morning of the move we get a call that the moving truck broke down. 3 Men sent another truck which I later found out was an owner operator truck and not part of their regular crew. The head mover was very nice and professional. Overall he did appear to take good care of my furniture. His assistants did not speak a word of English. They moved everything out of my old house and into my new house. As they brought my $8k office desk in I noticed a GIANT gash across the desk surface that sure as hell was not there before. It was so bad there is no way they would not have pointed it out, as the mover had been showing us damage throughout the day before moving items. He called his assistant in and they spoke in Spanish, some of which I understood. The assistant who moved it flat out denied it, which means he called me a liar. I was just sitting at that desk the morning of the move so I am 100% positive they cause it. This really angered me. The head mover said that he had a guy who could fix it and to call him. Well a week later my wife calls him and his phone has been "disconnected". WTF Then as the move continues you can see they are getting frustrated as they had been working for over 10 hours in the July heat. I start going through the house and also noticed they dented my $5k Stainless Steel Refrigerator. I already had a small dent on the side which I know was not them, but they dent in the front was 100% cause by them. When I pointed it out the head mover gets defensive again and says there's no way it could be them but that he wanted to know what would make it right. Lastly, and here is the big one, after the move our washing machine ($1100) started making very loud noises during the spin cycle. I check to make sure the machine is level and it continues to shake violently every time it runs. I look down and notice a huge dent in the front, so bad that it's starting to rub on the rotating drum. I file the claims with 3 men. I also explained that the washing machine is something we use every single day, and if it's not fixed immediately it will completely fail soon. It's been a week and still no response on the claim. I am extremely upset about this. Lastly, when my wife spoke to 3 Men after I filed the claim their representative made a point to say that any claims would be taken out of the mover's pay check. She tried to make us feel terrible about it. The bottom line is we used a professional moving service for accountability. They have insurance to cover this. Now they try to play into our emotions by unnecessarily pointing out that their underpaid movers will have their pay docked. This is extremely unprofessional. I WANT MY STUFF FIXED OR REPLACED. For the record, I tipped the movers $100 even after knowing about some of the damage. read more

3 Men Movers recently completed an efficient and quick move for me on a Sunday. They were on time, quick, and careful with my valuables. They even were able to move a 330 pound assembled vanity upstairs and into my bathroom without any issues and assembled my bed quickly. While they were slightly more expensive than other quotes I received, I wouldn't risk the quality and chance of breaking items like other friends have. read more

I came on Yelp prior and chose this company purely based off of reviews even though they were significantly priced higher. Let me tell you it was the BEST decision I made. You really get what you pay for with them. I had 4 guys moving us from a 2 bedroom apartment in midtown Houston to a 2 story house in The Woodlands. They loaded our (already packed up) stuff in 1 hour! They HUSTLED - all business - had a system - were completely respectful of our belongings and our walls and were done super quick. When we got to the house there was a HUGE storm which hindered them bringing stuff in! They did their best to cover our boxes with blankets or themselves - they were SOAKED!! I felt terrible. They really earned every second it took for me to write this, and gladly so. I packed myself (knowing from past experiences) and I was the first move of the day (I know that can change things). Its over pricy. I got a quote of $420 for 2 hours to move a one bed room apt stuff at a rate of $159per hr & additional trip charge of approx $100. Most of the time it will exceed 2hrs no matter how prepared you are. so it will be anything plus $450. have better options within this price range. read more
