Chicken Wontons in Chili Oil so good!

Service was fast and food was great! The place was clean too. Great spot near Union Square.

This review is on take out only. I'm always skeptical about dumplings. But I Love their dumplings. Flavorful and they don't skimp. Will definitely continue to come back. The shrimp and pork shumai are my favorite. Price was decent in my opinion and their soup dumplings were delicious.

This is a very casual, easy place to grab a meal. The food is extremely okay. I personally would not come back because there are plenty of places in the city that have similar food at affordable prices, but for a quick fix, I get it. Service was okay, the person refilling my water kept touching the spot I was drinking from.

came on a Saturday for a very late lunch to catch up with a friend and it did not disappoint!! restaurant was pretty empty when i walked in and therefore was seated and assisted immediately. my friend arrived shortly after so we got started quickly we ordered a few things to share family style and it came out fast. this place does dim sum solid but its nothing special except the scallion pancakes w beef were super unique and fun, tasted like a beef spring roll. the beef noodle soup is to die for if you like spicy. the broth is super savory with a hint of Szechuan pepper to add to being an elite flavor. def would recommend.

The food was great. I loved everything. The service was great and the gentlemen were inviting. The space was clean and quiet. I will definitely come back.

Service was quick. I felt shuffled in and out, and it wasn't very busy. I ordered pork soup dumplings and they were great, 10/10! But they didn't have soup spoons, so my soup kept spilling onto my plate. It was messier than expected and not as satisfying because it felt more like a puzzle of trying to get the soup in my mouth. If you're desperate for soup dumplings, then go here and grt your fix. But if you can wait to go to chinatown, or a place with soup spoons, just go there.

The place is very calming. You step in and greeted with a great playlist and nice host. We were sat fairly quickly and was able to place our order right away. We ordered steam pork soup dumplings, pan fried pork dumplings and shrimp dish. When they first came they accidentally got us two orders of soup dumplings instead of pan fried dumplings and they felt so bad the messed up they gave it to our table and went quickly to the kitchen to ordered it. Within in minutes a fresh order came out. They were so kind to be so quick about it. Over all the food tasted incredible and atmosphere was great on a rainy day.

Ordered the Sesame Chicken through delivery. Props need to be given where props are due. The chicken was fresh, flavorful & well cooked. The broccoli was crisp and fresh. Portions are generous. This needs to be said - they are doing it right!

I dunno about cuffing season, I only know noodle soup season... (granted, I love a good noodle soup 365 days of the year, but it hits the spot 10x more in the chillier seasons...) My husband and I were in the area- chilly evening, stuffy noses... we wanted noodles! Found 3 Times in the area- early dinner time, so the restaurant wasn't crowded so we were seated immediately. We ordered the crunchy noodles with pork, spicy beef noodle soup and pork soup dumplings. The crunchy noodles came out first- deep fried noodles topped with a thick gravy of pork, veggies and mushroom! The savory gravy had a tang to it, and made me think of hot and sour soup- it was good, but wish it came with more noodles. The spicy beef noodle soup came next- this was my favorite! Noodles had a good bounce (wish they were a tiny bit chewier) but the soup- this was what made it awesome. While spicy, it wasn't overpowering and was so aromatic and flavorful. We wolfed down to the last drop. The pork soup dumplings were the last to arrive to the table (steaming takes some time!) These were just okay- the soup was a bit too thin imho, and there was too much dough, so the meat to dough ratio was a bit off. Service was good, I think it's key to come in when they're not too busy.

Order to go for my lunch. Soup dumplings are very good. Juicy and flavorful. Shrimp Shu Mai and sticky rice Shu Mai are good. Definitely love the red bean puff as dessert. Lots tables inside. Very clean. Friendly staff. I'll come back to try other items!

Noodles w. scallion oil and vegetable spring rolls

I was craving some good scallion oil noodles, so I popped in here for a quick lunch after my dentist appointment, and it did not disappoint! I was seated right away and taken care of right away, which was nice. The scallion oil noodles weren't on the menu, but upon asking the waiter, he said he could make them. The waitstaff was very attentive and quick with their service. It came out fast and was the perfect temperature. I also got the vegetable spring rolls, which is always a classic. The restaurant is clean and has a nice amount of space in between each table, so it doesn't feel too crowded. The price was also not too bad for the two things (a little over $15 for both, including tip). If you're in the area, I'd definitely recommend!

Really yummy dim sum!! We came for dinner and had no wait, and the staff was so friendly. Our food came out fairly quickly and everything was so delicious. Rankings from most to least favorite (however everything was good and I would order all of it again) -Pan fried pork buns: these were nice and crispy on the bottom with a soft bite into the dough on top. Filled with a flavorful meaty broth and there was a decent portion of meat inside -Shrimp wontons in chili oil: another delicious dish, the shrimp was flavorful and the skin was cooked perfectly -Pork soup dumplings: these were good, but they weren't the best soup dumplings I've had in the city (however I've tried a lot!). The skin could've been a little thinner and some of them ripped when we picked them up, but the flavor was all there -Pork rice dumpling: this is the same as sticky rice wrapped in lotus leaves. Again, the flavor was there so it was yummy but I would've liked more meat inside. Overall, I had a great experience here!

    Amy C.

Was in the mood for a hot bowl of noodle soup and 3 Times looked like the best place to go to in the NOHO area. House Special Spicy Braised Beef Noodle soup - hit the spot. The Sichuan peppercorn flavor was a bit too overpowering that I wasn't able to fully enjoy the soup flavors, but the braised beef was so tender and perfectly cooked and the noodles had such a good bounce to them that it allowed me to fully enjoy my hot bowl of noodles. If you enjoy the numbing spice, I do recommend! (4.5/5) Sesame Chicken - you can taste how freshly made it was. Crunchy on the outside and the chicken was still juicy! (4.5/5) Pork Soup Dumplings - came out hot. Great skin to meat ratio. The soup flavors weren't as good as the ones I've had before but nonetheless still good. (3/5) Overall a great find and an affordable place to dine in compared to other places in the NOHO area.

What came out of a veggie spring roll -- hard foreign object!!!

When we…read morediscovered the Koreatown Nan Xiang was right around the corner from our hotel this visit, we made it a priority to visit, and we brought friends who were new to soup dumplings (XLB). There was a wait list to get seated when we arrived but the process was simple and moved quickly, and service was prompt and food came out quickly. We ordered both the standard pork XLB and my faves, the pork and crab ones, as well as pan fried pork dumplings which I was surprised to discover were also full of soup, chicken corn dumplings, and two noodle dishes: rice cake with pork & mustard greens, and pan fried noodles with beef. Servers were conscientious about allergies and very specific about letting us know which items were which, but other than that were largely appropriately hands off. They did ask us, mid-meal, if it would be ok if a service dog were at the next table to ours, which I thought was courteous. (The service dog was adorable and well behaved.) All the food was fab, which we expected. It's nice to come in a group and be able to order more items for a greater variety. The rookies executed well (and thanked us for the instructions on how to eat XLB to avoid getting soup everywhere) and were pleasantly surprised by my longtime favorite, the rice cake and mustard greens. I'll need to remember that the pan fried pork dumplings also have soup, because I really liked the texture of them. Such good food, and as always, better shared with friends.

I really liked the scallion pancake and eggplant. The pancake wasn't crispy/dry, but rather the exterior was crisp and the inside was still a little soft/fluffy. It's the first time I had a scallion pancake that wasn't just straight dough inside/outside, or so thin that it got crisped out. I really liked this texture profile though. The eggplant was 10/10; the eggplant was cooked well, so tender but not soggy. The sauce was really good too such that it was sufficient spice but not flaming. Would recommended. I enjoyed the cucumber salad and tofu as well, but have had better. Seasoning and prep were good though -- although the tofu was cooked so tender (or maybe was silken tofu to begin with) that the whole table was struggling with carrying it from plate to mouth -- heh. Food came out very quickly; staff were friendly, efficient, and helpful. Decent amount of seating with a cozy vibe. It was a good meal, not my favorite Szechuan spot, but definitely hit the spot.

I had the roll on its own, which made for a light meal, but it can also be enjoyed as a large snack. It was a little greasy, which can be expected, but not sure if I'd get it again. I did think it was innovative though. The most impressive thing about the restaurant was actually the space. I came to pick up my food and was surprised to see this beautiful place.
