My first time here and I'm glad I came. It was lunch on a Sunday so it wasn't busy when we arrived but it was definitely busy by the time we were done. Plenty of seating and the bigger tables for larger groups are in the back. There's a nice bar as well. Authentic Chinese dishes as well as dim sum. All the dishes were delicious that we tried. They also had an option of choosing your own protein or veggies and your choice of sauces as well. That worked out well for the younger one with us. I'll definitely be back to try other dishes.

Tri Dim Shanghai on the UES was fantastic--authentic, flavorful food, attentive service, a full bar, and spotless from start to finish. Friendly atmosphere and overall just the whole package. Definitely a spot we'll return to.

Tridim West is known for its traditional Chinese Cuisine and mouthwatering dim sum. We tried the crab pork soup dumplings , crispy shrimp balls--they all packed with flavor and oh-so-delicious! The decor is modern and nice. Whether you're a dim sum fan or exploring the Upper West Side, this spot is a must-try! We have been coming to this restaurant for several years now and unfortunately it has changed a lot and not for better . Food is still good but service is very rude and less than acceptable. On several occasions in the last few months we had a really bad experience with service. Rude waiters , not willing to accommodate your standard requests ( like bringing appetizers all together for each guest. We were party of 3 and other 2 people had to wait 15 min or so to get their appetizers so one person for being polite and waiting for other people food to show up ended up eating cold food) few items on the wine menu was not available and waiter pushed other higher priced items . No one poured our wine , we had to do it ourselves, also water glasses not being refilled . When check came and we did not wanted to leave gratuity for the lack of decent service, our water demented a tip and was really forceful and very rude about it ) it's a shame ! It was a really good restaurant and I am not sure what happened to it . Food however is still good and if it was served on time not cold , that would have been even better. Lovely ambiance. After dining here several times we won't be coming back .

Their lunch special is spectacular for 1295 or 1395. You can get a spring roll or soup and an entrée with rice. I honestly had to bring home half of my entrée back because I couldn't finish it!

I came here for lunch special. The food was very good. Price is reasonable. They also have a lunch special menu. The places are well-designed and clean. The service was very attended.

The wonton soup, pork, and noodles all left me very disappointed. The sesame peanut noodles had very poor sauce coverage, and even with thorough mixing, most of my entree was not remotely covered with peanut sauce. The pork had very chewy with every piece having a sort of ligamentous center. It was overall less pleasant than other barbecue porks i have had. The wontons immediately began to fall apart when i began serving myself and lacked flavor overall.

They deliver on their own so there aren't any updates on the app as to whether your food is on the way, but the estimate is provided by the store. When i reached the latest arrival estimate, I called the store and they said they had no idea if the order was ready, being made, or even started yet. What??? The person who picked up the phone only seemed to know that she sent the order in to the kitchen but she had no idea on anything else - despite me placing the order over an hour ago at this point. We shouldn't have the same level of knowledge when you're physically at the store and work there. Once the food came.. it tasted as bad as the pics attached look. The wontons were just boiled and tasteless. Broth tasted just like straight water with a pinch of salt. The noodles just had maybe a tablespoon of sauce and just looks like it spent time in the sink drain. Unimpressed and not coming back

We went a second time because our first experience was so good that we wanted to try their other dishes, and now after the second time, we can't wait to return for a third. We definitely need to return with a bigger group the next time we go so that we can try more of their dishes! Our second time there, we had the "Night Market Chow Fun" and the "Chongqing Braised Beef." Both were excellent! Probably my favorite Chow fun now and the Chongqing braised beef was so tender and had all the szechuan tingly spices that open up your taste buds and sensories. We LOVED both dishes. It had the 3 chili pepper sign and the server warned us that it was very spicy, and IT WAS -- in all the good ways. May not be for the faint, though, so be careful. Not sure if they can adjust the spiciness. We enjoy their "film set" ambiance, giving it a cooler dining experience than your normal authentic casual space -- adds some flare for a date night or for friends. MUST RETURN FOR MORE!

The ambiance and decor are beautiful, definitely a great date-night spot or somewhere to go with friends. They were understaffed when we visited so service was a little slow. We ordered the century egg claypot (6/10), lucky coin tofu (9/10) and brown rice (which you have to order separately, a little annoying). The claypot was unique but not super flavorful, although my hubs loved the texture of the egg. The portion was HUGE so we'll have leftovers for days! The lucky coin tofu was the standout. It was tangy, spicy and packed with flavor. I'm glad we tried Red Sorghum but I'm not sure it'll become a regular spot for me.

Service is super efficient, to order food you use a tablet at the table and order drinks from the servers. The dining room is beautiful and kind of peaceful. I saw quite a few large parties so this spot seems good for groups. We started with the truffle pork soup dumplings which might be the best I've ever had. The soup was the perfect temperature and so so flavorful. I would come back just for the dumplings. The mapo tofu and sauteed green beans came next, and we ordered two sides of plain white rice which came in a generously sized bowl. Portion sizes are large here, we had plenty of leftovers. We went for more familiar dishes, which were so well done, but all the different dishes flying through the dining room looked incredible. Will definitely be coming back to explore the rest of the menu.

I can see this being a fave if you like sweeter savory dishes - Grilled Beef Rib and Peppers, (4/5): the meat is soooo tender, and falls off the bone. It's very black pepper forward, and you can tell the entire dish is coated with cornstarch given the thick sauce. it was again, a bit on the sweeter side for me, but other than that it can be enjoyed by those who don't do well with spice - Ginger & Chili Frog, (4.5/5): lots of pieces of frog, and it wasn't spicy at first but it builds. You can really see and taste the ginger chunks- it is definitely very ginger forward with several different pao cai chillies (very sour, pungent, and spicy!) - Che Li's Pork Belly, (3/5): I'm personally not a big fan of pork belly, but my friend loves this! I see a lot of people order this, so don't take my word for it, try it yourself! - Sautéed Water Spinach, (3/5): pretty standard, tasted fresh, not much seasoning - Spicy Hunan Beef, (4/5): a very hot dry spice that goes well with rice. The beef texture was inconsistent, which knocked down some points Overall, I enjoyed my experience here and I would come again.
