I had heard amazing things about this place so I met a friend there for brunch. The wait wasn't as long as expected so I was excited. Waitress was nice and did a good job. But, the food was not as good as it had been hyped up to be. The brunch potatoes were basically cubed potatoes with no seasoning, the bacon was salty and my pancakes were tough. After we finished eating we were asked several times if we were ready for our check. We paid and after sitting there for less than 10 minutes we were asked to leave and make room for the wait list. I understand being busy but that's part of running a restaurant and they had at least 3 empty tables that hadn't been seated. When you choose profits over people I'm out. I could understand if we'd been there for hours, but we hadn't even been there an hour, including our time eating. I definitely will not be back. read more

Nice venue and the service was fine. Everyone was very polite and friendly. We were not overly impressed with the food, however. My meal was lukewarm at best (and that is not a plus for over easy eggs). Toast was oddly stale and cold. Forgot my potatoes. The sausage was just ok; nothing special and a bit greasy. The mini pancakes were just average. The bacon was good. One other thing I rarely pay attention to, but that really stood out to me, is how cheap the silverware is. It's weirdly thin with sharp edges. I've purchased better at the Dollar Tree. We will likely give this spot another try to sample some different items and see if things get better. read more

The food was really good! Nothing really to complain about there. The service on the other hand was very weird. I'm not sure if our server was having a hard day, but she was very short with us and made us feel very rushed. We didn't even have time to ask for some water before she would leave. She saw us once to take our order and once again to take our payment. She sat the receipt on our table and walked away, and when she came back she grabbed our card while walking away, we had to stop her to ask for to go boxes. We understand that they were busy and she needed to be fast, but at least Ask us how the food was like you did your other tables and give us a smile. While the food was good, we probably won't be back. This place was poppin when we arrived last Saturday around noon. There was a 25 minute wait for 2, but my fiancé and I just sat at the bar, which ended up being great. The hostess with the messy curly updo at the front door today was easily the rudest person I've EVER met in my entire life. She refused to put our party down on the just because we had 8. No big deal, this restaurant is not setup to handle big parties so i nicely asked to have 2 separate parties of 4 put on the list instead. She was beyond rude and argumentative and refused to put us on the list l and kept saying the wait would be the same so she wasn't going to be able to put us down. I kept trying to explain that we aren't trying to be seat together and trying to split up our parties to make the wait less and easier on them. Clearly didn't understand the difference in 2 separate parties and 1 large party and she began screaming at me until we left. Then as I'm there another young brunette waitress yelled across the entire restaurant "how disrespectful" ..... all because i was trying to split up our parties. This is a new and DISGUSTING establishment. Now all the negative reviews online on yelp and Rockwallian make sense. This was our first and last time coming here. The owner should be embarrassed that his employees behave this way. I will say kudos to the young man (maybe a waiter) that was attempting to calm the hostess down. It's ok in a pinch, but Eggsquite cafe is so much better. In my omelet they used Kraft singles for the cheese cause it had that texture and stuck to my teeth lol. The service was mid, barely any people here and it took them way too long to service us. The ambiance is also ok, there's a strange smell when you first walk in but overall not terrible. read more

Hostess is a complete idiot. Experienced TERRIBLE service with a DoorDash pick up order. Watched the customers food sit at the hostess stand for 20 minutes while she said it wasn't the order i was there to pickup. She lied multiple times about the back just finishing up bagging it and then also about them just needing to finish a couple things. Food ended up being delivered cold to the customer. Total waste of everyone's time and money. Would highly avoid giving this restaurant your money. read more

The food and presentation is excellent. We have been there several times. However, the coffee is awful--weak and watery and tastes of grounds. It's certainly not up to the standards of the rest of the menu. I only drink decaf but was unable to get a decaf latte, which I would have preferred. read more

Sausage patties were also pre-made. Reminded me of what you would get at a fast food restaurant (starts w/ a M). Gravy was very runny, lack flavor, and at $4 a cup - not worth the price. Always try to call to get in and no one ever answers the phone. If I come in person to get on the list staff is rude! We have been here twice and service just gets worse. We had the Eggs Benedict. The hollindaise was runny with little to no flavor. The ham was chewy with gristle. The server and the entire staff made it very clear that they were closing as soon as they could get us to leave. They started stacking chairs, sweeping, and cleaning while we were still trying to eat. The smell of the cleaning fluid was so strong that I couldn't bring myself to finish my food or coffee. Having been in restaurant management myself I hope the owners figure out that if you want to shut down 30 minutes before you advertise your closing time to be maybe change your closing time to earlier. We arrived and were seated to fairly empty room. Hostess took our drink order & delivered them quickly. We sat and watched as other tables were serviced and even watched as other patrons arrived and were serviced. Staff walked by our table but never acknowledged us. Couldn't be due to staff shortage because others were being served. When I went to the bar to pay for my ice tea, the staff wanted to correct the situation but we had an appointment and could not wait any longer. By the time we decided to leave after over an hour of not being seated on our "45 minute" wait time, every other restaraunt had no reservations available for 90 mins+. I have been twice and the food is absolutely amazing! Fantastic selection of breakfast items to choose from, full bar. My only issue is when trying to order from the kids menu as a adult, they are very rude about and and say they don't allow it (until you pull your Dr cancer patient card out) then they reluntantly roll their eyes and take your order, which after adding a side item totaled to the same money spent as ordering an adult menu item) restaurants are part of tbe hospitality industry and should act accordingly. read more

First off...oh my - SO delicious!! We did experience a fair bit of wait but the beauty of it was that we were not required to stay on site. I ran a quick errand and came back. Within a few minutes of being back we received our text that our table was ready and were seated promptly. Their Irish coffee was tasty and reasonably potent. Food was good - nice selection of dishes offered. The interior was clean and well decorated. The only thing I would note is that it gets very cold in there when it is cold outside because of all of the traffic at the door. Best to bring a sweater if it's chilly outside. read more
