Great service and staff. We came about 8am on Saturday which was perfect. Busy but not busy you know. The blt was great. I got the hard egg and it was perfect. It's huge and highly recommend. Had a great experience here! The place has a great vibe with great customer service. I was looking around at everyone's food and by the looks of it, you can't go wrong with anything. This was supposed to be a cinnamon roll french toast (literally tasted like regular french toast, no cinnamon and weak sugar powder) i also asked the waitress if it was going to come out THICK CUT and this was thinner than the french toast i make at home. I was excited to see this restaurant open, as I love a great brunch. We went in the first month it opened. I was confused to see a cocktail menu and bar at a breakfast place. But, I guess to each his own. Looking at the menu, it was dominated by ultra sweet options with a few savory - the things you'd expect. We ordered egg-based typical breakfasts, which were basic and on par with Denny's, but cost 50% more. On a positive note, the staff was extra nice, helpful and knowledgeable. The ambiance of the restaurant itself wasn't for me. There's a selfie-area, which is a real eye-roll for me. Why are we encouraging narcissists??? The vast majority of the tables are small with few, if any, booths and there are too many tables crammed too close together. I felt like people walking around were scraping our table as they walked by. It wasn't comfortable. I won't go back. However, I know several people who really like Brunch House. The food was very good, but I feel compelled to write a review because of the treatment our friends received while waiting for our table today. They arrived, with their two children, and were told that it would be a 35-minute wait. They went to the bar to get a mimosa and a beer and were met with a disgusted look and remark by the bartender who asked them why they brought their kids over to the bar. First of all, this is a brunch restaurant and not a smoke-filled dive bar. Second of all, that "greeting" was met with shock by my friends and those sitting around them since nobody could believe that this bartender passed judgment on them like that AND that she voiced her distaste for kids being at the bar while they waited for their drinks. Mind you, there are only 2 chairs in the "waiting area" of the restaurant, and it was cold and windy outside, so there was nowhere comfortable to wait other than the bar. The bartender should have to take a sensitivity course on how to interact with people and families before being allowed another shift, and she should look for another job in the service industry if she has such a problem with parents who would like to have a drink while waiting (what turned out to be) almost an hour for a table. Save your judgment and snarky commentary for your personal life because it has zero place in your place of work. That all said, we had a great waitress, and we loved the food, but we will likely try the other location next time to avoid that bartender who clearly doesn't understand that she works in a family-friendly environment. read more

They take your name & number and call you once your table is ready. When we got inside we realized how crammed it is inside there. We were seated at the table right by the door so we experienced a lot of traffic in every direction. The restaurant itself was cute & casual, but definitely not worth the hype. Our food came out fairly quickly, however it was very bland and greasy. You could definitely get something of similar quality at your local Denny's. I ordered the 2 x 2 x 2 with french toast, bacon, and eggs. It made my stomach hurt & left me feeling sick for a few hours. From the reviews this seemed like a great place, and walking inside, it certainly looked impressive. There is an elegant vibe blended with casual warmth. Sadly, the food was disappointing. The Eggs Benedict Florentine was greasy, and topped with a margarine concoction that was definitely not Hollandaise sauce. The eggs were fine after scraping off the margarine topping and removing the soggy muffin, The pancake order looked nice, but tasted like it came from a mix. The "maple" syrup wasn't really maple syrup, but some kind of corn syrup blend. On the plus side, the orange juice did taste like fresh squeezed.
