Went in on Saturday afternoon. The girl at the register barely even acknowledged me. I asked what kind of soup they had. All she did was point to the menu behind her. As their soups are not clearly marked I was confused and didn't see them. I asked again where the soups where. My friend had to point them out to me. The girl just stood there staring into oblivion. 2016 Yelp 100 Challenge Review #91 I stopped by recently to pick up a Caprese specialty sandwich to go. Service was friendly. It took a sec to get my sandwich but I don't mind. I know they made it to order and it was delicious veggies in a ciabatta bun. I like that they have a rewards system though its via an app. 7 visits gets you a $7 reward. Schlotzsky's Deli/ Cinnabon - Rockwall, TX is crazy good. I've been eating subway and Quiznos long time but after eating sandwiche here both of those places are trash! You can tell the quality of the meat is way better than subway or quiznos. Last night I tried Pizza and they are very good as well especially for the price. The new Theme in the store is very modern. They bring the food to your table, no more waiting fighting at the window. Service and staff also good and friendly. read more

This place is always such a hit or miss for me. Depending on how late you go will depend on how nice the customer service is. I like their food a lot but there have been occasions where they arrived cold. However, let's get to the nitty gritty here. This isn't some five star restaurant (obviously) but the food is tasty, the prices are reasonable, and I have yet to get food poisoning from them. BONUS! An above average location of what I would consider to be a quality sandwich/pizza chain. The food at this location is always served promptly and fresh, and will make edits to the sandwiches as desired by the customer. The restaurant space is adequate, although the large windows surrounding the restaurant mean that at times the sunlight can be blinding from certain angles. As far as the menu goes, there are a few vegetarian options, but selection is limited. The Schlotzsky's Chips are generally quality, and I would recommend them as a size if you're feeling a bit hungry. The drink sizes are very large in general so you may want to consider smaller sizes if you plan on ordering a drink. read more

But my sandwich had only 2 thin slices of salami on it (probably not even a half ounce), no other meat, no olives. So I ordered a turkey original and there's no sign in drive thru or in the store to say what's on the sandwich. I told the drive thur person that I did not want the original because of the pork. It's not that I have high expectations for fast food chains but this location is extremely sad. It was extremely dirty and the food was not made as ordered. No onions isn't exactly a complicated order. Kids Mac came out cold. Hard dry noodles and cold. I asked if they kept their Mac cold and reheated as ordered or if it sat in a pan. They couldn't answer me. Only that supposedly Schlotzsky's has a policy about sending out cool food for kids so that it doesn't burn their mouths? I would rather it be temperature safe. The restaurant manager came to work early to bake Cinnabons for our 50 employees, and had them ready at 8:00am! Cold sandwich that was slightly soggy on parts and may have been toasted hours ago...not sure. I didn't even complain but the 2 people at the drive through were rude. They treated me like an idiot because I couldn't hear them on the speaker. When I got up to the window they just took my card, closed the window then stood there with their back to the window, leaning on it. When he came back he said "here" and handed me the bag and closed the window then resumed leaning on it. I've been to some great schlotzky's with well made food and service but I will never return to this location. It's the attitude that kills me. The people who are wanting $15/hr but get all upset and treat you poorly because you asked for an extra napkin or ketchup packet. I have to assume the store in Rockwall Texas is a franchise correct? I've eaten there 4 times since Aug 2012. Each time something is a bit wrong. Today I purchased 2 Med Originals, though they got the specifics correct, the amount of olives they put on both sandwiches was just sad. I realize that if the store is a franchise, it can cut cost if needed where they choose, but I would hope that corporate HQ would want this store to make "Schlotzsky's" look good, yet every time I go to this specific store it makes me less likely to go to other Schlotzsky's sites in other cities. read more

I often go to Schlotzsky's in Irving near my work for lunch and I love it. I have tried the one in Rockwall, near my home, a few times and the food has been horrible each time. The turkey sandwich may have had two slices of turkey on it and the bread was hard. Last week I thought maybe it was just the sandwich, so I ordered a veggie pizza. Very disappointed. The veggies were only in the center of the pizza and there was so much pesto on it, I couldn't even eat it. I won't be going back to this location. read more

Went at 8:30 tonight. The two girls at the counter were really not very interested in me. They eventually asked me if I was ready to order (after I had been standing there for a few minutes). Ordered my sandwich, paid, grabbed my table sign and order number and sat down to watch TV. There were two other customers in the store and maybe one car in the drive-thru. I watched TV for 15 minutes, got up and left. I sat in my car for another 10 minutes watching through the window. Someone finally came and took the table sign away. Meanwhile, two people who came in after I did got their food. My take - Customers are tolerated here, not valued. Service??? The service at this location is the absolute worst that I have ever had in my life. If I could give zero stars I would. We waited in the drive-through for 30 minutes. When we asked to speak to a manager at the drive-through kiosk, we were told we would have to wait until we went around to the window. 45 minutes later we got our kids meal and when we explained to the manager that we were long time customers, her response was, "we have a lot of regular customers. Losing one isn't going to hurt us." They change the prices almost every time that we go in. They charge $.90 to upgrade to a bag of chips on the kids meal that costs less than five dollars. Sometimes they charge $.60, sometimes they don't charge an upgrade at all. The management and staff at this location is inconsistent, slow at service, and extremely rude. Our family has decided to drive to the Forney location that is 20 minutes away, instead of driving to five minutes to the Rockwall location based purely on the lack of service that we receive at the Rockwall location. read more

He is difficult to understand and blamed us for a mix up with ordering rather than taking care of the customer and continued to be rude. Very disappointing. I have been to this Schlotzskys location before and after work. There always seems to be a problem. When I go through the drive thru, i can hear the owners arguing and yelling at each other that the employee and i can't communicate. There is no garbage can when you enter or leave the drive thru, There is constantly dirt and mud underneath the drive thru window. The soups that I order tastes watered down. When I order a salad, I am only given ONE side of dressing. That just isn't enough for a full sized salad. When you order a "combo," you don't get any sort of discount at all except for the original or the smoked turkey. For every other combo, you are charged individually for every item. The Wi-fi inside is very very slow. I come here time and time again hoping my experience would get better but still no improvements. I will no longer be coming here to eat. read more
