The service sucked. Brought out our food and there was a hair in the food, I told the server about it and she just took the plate without saying anything. Came in for an actual brunch with the wife while my truck was being worked on. We were seated quickly and the waitress took our drink orders. She was warm and attentive. Cappuccino for me and a mocha for her (drank them with pinkys raised, of course), both were just Ok. I ordered the smoked lox beney and she the denver omelet. The so-called English muffin was hard and stale...I could hardly cut through them, but the salmon and eggs were good. The potatoes are from a bag and deep fried...not too bad (and at least they were seasoned well). The food is pretty basic for a brunch place, a step up from ihop down the road, but everything tasted good. My two complaints are that they only have whole milk for your coffee (no non dairy options. We chose this place mainly for the mimosa flight and we were not disappointed! They have many juice flavors to choose from and you get to choose 4. We chose grapefruit, pomegranate, mango, and orange. Mango was my favorite and grapefruit was hers. We paired our mimosas with the 2x2x2 entrée, which was the perfect amount of food. Basic breakfast of pancakes, eggs, and bacon. Overall, we will definitely be coming back and hope to try out the skillets! I do recommend sitting outside if the weather is nice, since the inside can get very crowded. My bestie and I opted to sit outside so we wouldn't have to wait for a table inside. Not only did 30 Brunch House in Rockwall fit the bill, but our server Tina was absolutely wonderful and I'm looking forward to coming back again soon! Met my wife here for my Birthday. Upon entering the entire eatery smelled like it was mopped with a sour mop. All in all, the establishment is a quiet calm setting in the middle of the worse traffic in the metroplex. We decided to give it a try anyway so we ordered and after a rather lengthy wait for the small amount of customers we finally received our meals as ordered. The food was ok but nothing to rave about. We ordered chicken fried chicken and German crepes. The chicken is flavored well. The gravy is good. Comes with potatoes and eggs and choice of bread so we went with an English muffin. Didn't care for the muffin as it was textured like a sponge. We were charged an extra 3.00 for the muffin. Won't do that again. The crepes were good and light but did need more of whatever sauce they put on it. And okay could use more powdered sugar too. Would come back but not making a special trip to come in. We were here for the first time today, after church, with friends. Wow -- all six of us agreed that everything we ordered was REALLY, really good! A couple of us ordered Cowboy burgers; they had a great presentation, with two long strips of bacon sticking out both sides and onion rings on top of the meat -- which was cooked just as requested. Very tasty!! My husband's grilled chicken salad was huge and was also excellent. Others ordered some kind of breakfast skillet dishes with various meats, potatoes, peppers and two eggs on top. When we asked about our wait time, we got vague answers, and it seemed they only offered us outdoor seating because we were about to leave. The entire experience left a bad impression, especially when we had to explain to our kids why we were being overlooked. Sadly, it felt like the hostess was being selective with whom she seated, which added to the frustration. It was fine except when we asked for fruit for his waffle, we were charged $4. Not a big deal, but obviously we'd prefer the berry waffle in the first place. We'll definitely be back. The entire restaurant was full and overall it was a good experience. The hostess said "we don't really do call ahead. It's more like whoever is here first" but when we were putting our name down at the restaurant a hostess did take a call ahead. So I guess it doesn't hurt to ask. Came here for brunch before we drove back home to Austin! This place was PACKED! However they were able to accommodate 12 of us plus 2 babies! It was a tight squeeze but we made it work. The kids loved the pancake plates, my husband said the omelette was great, and the healthy morning meals have plenty of food and are well cooked (if you have ever cooked egg whites you know these can get runny but they perfected these!)
