As someone who doesn't eat burgers often this is now my go to spot. I have not had a burger like this. The bread they use is unreal, it totally makes the burger. It's like a pan de agua if I could compare it to anything. The staff is friendly and you can even order on the self order kiosk they have if you truly don't want to interact with anyone. I was pleasantly surprised getting food here. I did order from Uber eats instead of going to the location. There was an option to say how I want my burger cooked. I said I wanted it medium rare, expecting the restaurant to just ignore what the app told them but they actually gave me a medium rare burger! The burger was messy looking but in my mind, that's part of the charm of a real burger joint. With every bite, I enjoyed it very much. The hot dog is clearly trash. Sweet potato fries were good though. Chicken tenders taste and appear to be the same quality as your local chicken shack. I ordered a medium rare burger in hopes I would see some pink. It's very dry and the cheese is Kraft quality. I'm not impressed by fresh bread or garnishments if the actual burger meat isn't good. Tried this place via uber eats then came in and got takeout to give a fair shot. Both times I didn't enjoy it. The first time I tried a veggie patty which was super messy and fell apart immediately. You literally choose the type of burger you want; then place checks next to the extras. FYI: you will be charged for those extras. You may get one cheese and a few complimentary condiments for no charge; but everything else they charge you being mindful, it can add up. My daughter ate her burger right away and enjoyed every mouthful. Disclaimer: I cannot be held responsible for my review on the taste of this meal. I was hungry...correction: maybe slightly hangry therefore it's a well-known fact, tastebuds can be somewhat altered in that state. The food was delicious, the location is supreme. Okay what!! The banana smoothie was LIT - I would go back just to order another one or perhaps try a different flavor. If you go, you have to get a smoothie. I got the BBQ burger and it was pretty good as well, the fries were delicious too. All of their food was hot and fresh but did not take forever to make (I did go there before their "opening" and it wasn't busy, so keep that in mind). This is a perfectly fine option for when you want a burger that still has that "local" flavor, yet still deal with a chain restaurant so you know what you're getting. Today I was SUPPOSED to try a new burger, but instead I had the 'Trenton Burger,' which I've had many times before. I also had their truffle fries for the first time. They were pretty good. I came here for the soft opening with my brother and I was expecting just burgers. I was so amazed at the selection of food here! There were so many options! I had a paneer Kati roll (mint and cilantro were some of the ingredients in it!) They also had gyro and chicken tikka Kati rolls that I'm sure are amazzzing. The bread was a heaven sent paratha. EXPERIENCE: I stopped by 30 Burgers during their soft opening and decided to order the Kararey Aloo Kati Roll (Crispy spiced Indian potato croquettes, cilantro-mint spread, cucumber, lettuce, red onions & peppers wrapped in Kawan Paratha) with a side of Regular Fries. The staff member who took down my order was kind, but it was a bit hard for us to hear one another through our masks and with the music that was playing. Nevertheless, I was advised 10-15 minutes for my order- but unfortunately waited well over an hour for my food. I understand that it was a soft opening, but the staff did seemed frazzled and understaffed. As someone who has worked customer service, I completely empathize with the staff, but it was frustrating to see people who got there after me get their meals much quicker. I asked one of the staff members, who seemed like a manager, for an ETA and she advised that my order would be ready soon. A few minutes later, that same manager began to inform me that they did not have the ingredients to make the Kati Roll that I ordered. I was extremely confused because she did not finish explaining or provide a solution, so I stood by the register until she came back. She then informed me that my food would be ready shortly. That did put a bad taste in my mouth because I would have changed my order without an issue if I knew the menu option I originally chose was not available. I waited about 10 more minutes until my food came out and could overhear the manager inform another staff member to apologize to me about the wait. I do regret not saying anything about my poor experience right then and there, but I was so hungry that I just wanted to leave and eat my food. FOOD: Unfortunately, the food I ordered was not worth the wait and I was extremely underwhelmed with my experience overall. Most of the flavor from the Kati Roll came from the fresh veggies, but the potato croquettes were unfortunately pretty bland. The fries were also standard but I did like the sauce that it came with. If you do decide to visit, I would say order another menu option. AMBIENCE: The restaurant had cool posters on the walls and good music playing. It looks like a 80's burger joint that would be cool to hang out with friends- pre pandemic. Due to restrictions, they did have the tables marked off onto the sides but customers were allowed to sit and wait. The area that I was in had crumbs all over the seat so I wiped it off so I could sit down for the remainder of my time waiting for my food. This one, on Rte. 22, is new. It's pretty low rent, with none of the charm of the original. The menu sounds appealing, and has been expanded to at least 34 signature burgers, including some veggie options, hot dogs, sides, and Indian paratha wraps. The couple of guys banging out the food in the back, and the one young lady taking all the orders, ringing the register, bagging the food, and also making milk shakes, were certainly working hard. Understaffing seems to be a trend these days. I had a Santa Fe burger, and got a classic cheeseburger for my wife. The meat was OK and the toppings numerous and generous, but as another reviewer alluded to, the lettuce is shredded so finely, that it liquifies against the hot burger, and whole thing with the sauce and the bun becomes a slippery mess.
