I had my last dental exam when I was in middle school. Never saw a dentist after that until i was 22 (that's a long time). I was referred to 3020 dental by a friend and for the past 9 years I been coming regularly. Dr. Satish Reddy and his staff are always very welcoming. Easy to book appointments. When I came in I got my initial cleaning, x-rays and a deep cleaning. The cleaning wasn't painful and I was comfortable through the entire time. I'm happy to be referred here and after almost a decade of coming here I wouldn't go anywhere else. I'm currently commuting almost an hour and it's worth it. read more

Worst experience ever! My daughter needed 2 teeth extracted and dentist Reddy decided to take one out without anesthesia! My daughter was crying and he said "I got one tear out an eye" and laughed. When I asked why she was not numbed he got offended and started raising his voice at me for calling him out on his wrongdoing. I said to him "you could of asked if she was going to get anesthesia" he got offended and started raising his voice. When I asked him to lower his tone he walked away and said "I can't help you". I brought my 3.5 year old twins here for their third ever dental appointment. I made the appointment because 3020 is close to our house, a provider on our dental plan, and their webpage said they have a pediatric dentist. I don't remember now if I forgot to ask for the pediatric dentist when I made the appointment, if she was not available and so I just made an appointment anyway, or if they told me it would be with her and then it wasn't. My memory stinks, so probably the first of those. But I digress. Here's what I thought: Office/staff - The office was clean, if sparse. No toys or whatnot in the waiting room, which gave me a little bit of pause at first because I previously had a major bias in favor of dentists who see a lot of kids. But the receptionist and dental assistant won me over. They were helpful and polite to me, and they engaged the kids over the counter. Dental assistant - I wish I had written down her name, maybe it was Jasmina. She was Eastern European, but I can't remember from where. And I learned a very important lesson from her: it doesn't matter if the dentist is a pediatric dentist because s/he only sees the kid for a minute. What matters is the dental assistant's competence with kids, and this chica knocked it out of the park. She talked directly to the kids. She showed them each tool and let them hold it before she used it. She teased them. She had a stock of cartoon-themed bib-thingies. She was so awesome and a stark contrast to a dental assistant we had at a previous place who spent half the appointment telling me how she blames parents when two year olds act badly in the chair. Dr. Reddy - Well, like I said, he's not a pediatric dentist. But he's solid, and he was great with the kids too. Also, he probably gets credit for hiring the aforedescribed dental assistant. Xrays - I take issue with dental practices that want to xray kids with few or new teeth. I don't want all that (admittedly low but still) radiation on my kids' faces every six months, and I know some dental practices are very happy to do it as a matter of course and charge one's insurance. Not this place. It didn't even have to be a conversation. They just don't suggest it for kids under a certain age. In sum, we had a super positive experience here, notwithstanding that I am a demanding customer. Godwilling this place will continue its contract with BCBS, so that we can keep coming here. read more

Me and my family have been going here for years. The staff is very kind and professional and they always with the right attitude . I highly recommend Dr. Reddy, he is always taking care of my teeth pain free. Even if we moved away from the neighborhood we're still taking the drive to come to this place. read more

I went there needing a check up, cleaning, and a referral to a periodontist for my bone loss and root reabsorption that has been documented by two other dentists. She started off by telling me she didn't see the reapsorption and I just had a little bone loss. Dr. Sumita took the dental pick and began digging and scraping like she was on an archeological dig. I let her know it hurt, and she said "if it didn't she wouldn't be doing her job." ??? I am no wimp, and I have had deep cleanings before, but I was crying in the chair. My lower teeth STILL HURT. It's Friday. I already had anxiety around dentists, this did not help. Usually, when a patient is crying, it is time to stop and reasess. Also, she kept asking if I needed antibiotics for my bleeding disorder. Uh, no...that won't help my clotting. Which is another reason not to TORTURE ME LIKE YOU ARE MENGELE. This is just my experience, take from it what you will. ps. she also told me she "didn't know any periodontists." yeah. Nope. Never again. read more

I called to make an appt on 7/11/18. I was told by the scheduler they had an available appt for the next day 7/12/18 at 11 am, so I agreed to come at that time. The next day I arrived 15 mins early at 10:45 am because I expected to fill out paper work. After completing my paperwork in 5 mins. I waited patiently until 11:20 after seeing several other patients come in and go directly to their appt. When I inquired about what was taking so long the receptionist stated that my appt was at 11:30 am and would need to wait an additional 10 mins. I explained that the appt time given to me was 11 am and she insisted that I wasn't told that because it was listed for 11:30. I felt insulted by her remarks but chose to hold my comments until after my appt so I wouldn't have to worry about addressing it at that time, effecting my care or treatment. After being seen by the dental assistant and Dr. Reddy who both gave excellent quality of care I spoke again with the receptionist requesting to speak with a manager to address my complaints. She stated that there is no manager but she could help me. So I explained my frustration with being misinformed about my appt time and being insulted when addressing it. She stated that it doesn't usually happen and that it wouldn't happen again. She also said that typically they ask patients to come 30 mins early for there first appt. I asked why wasn't it done this time and she just apologized. She stated that if there was anything she could do to make it up let her know. I asked what could she do to make it up and she stated it was already in the past so there's nothing she could do. After her response I left. Clearly she needs to work on her social skills and hopefully she gets better with communication if she plans to continue work in any field involving person-person interaction. read more

I usually don't use yelp, but I felt as I needed to voice my opinion about this place. I was looking for a dental office and I happen to live around the neighborhood, I was walking by stopped in and the receptionist was very pleasant and polite. She made my appointment and gave me my forms to fill out at home to save some time on the day of my visit. They have a really good system in reminding you about your appointment. The dentist I saw was Dr. Reddy, which he was nice and honest, I thought he would be like other dentist and always find a million things wrong with my mouth but I'm happy to say I don't have to see a dentist until my next regular check up. The reason why I'm giving this place a poor rating is for the following, everyone on there has a great personality BUT I did not appreciate or felt comfortable because the assistants and front desk were speaking in their language right in front of me and others. Now . . . . in a global society, it's becoming more common to find yourself in an environment with people who speak languages other than your own. Etiquette on speaking other languages in front of other people really depends on whether you are speaking the other language to include people in the conversation or exclude them. For example, if you're working in a group of people who speak different languages, it would be best to speak in the language most understood by everyone. However, if a non-native speaker is having difficulty understanding the conversation, another person might offer to translate for that person without offending the others in the group. Additionally, two people should feel comfortable speaking their native language together in a group space, such as at a party or in the office, if the two people are separate from the group. It's impolite, though, to speak another language in front of someone specifically because you don't want the person to understand what you're saying. This is a Dental office where they should be professional and not make patients feel this way, it is rude and it could make anyone uncomfortable. As the assistant was walking me out she was completely just speaking her language. . They laughed and at the end she said in English "everything is good she can come back in 6 months". So what I don't understand is where in their right mind is that ok? Maybe this might not be a big deal for some of you but to me it is. I have zero tolerance for rude people and i will not be returning to this office. I felt the need to create a yelp and express my thoughts and feelings about this place. My dad recently switched dentist over at 3020 Dental Associates, I would rate this place a 4 if it weren't for the assistants there. The place is super clean, modern and very accomidating with patients. BUT I felt very uncomfortable as my dad was being walked out after his procedure. The best way to describe it is "I felt as if I were at the nail salon with my wife" . . . The assistants and front desk are rude and knowing we speak both Spanish and english they decide to speak in their language right in front of us. Not only is that rude but I wonder what could they possibly be saying about me? Or my dad? The whole entire time there these ladies are speaking their language. They made my dad and myself feel uncomfortable and we will not be returning. If this is something that wouldn't bother you, this is the place to be. For this I rate this a place a cold 1. read more

Dr. Reddy has been my dentist for over 10 years. He is absolutely amazing! I have had extractions, fillings, crowns and root canals performed, my visits have always been pleasant and believe it or not painless. He has a friendly wonderful team who always makes you feel welcome. I highly recommend him to everyone i know. read more

I recently changed dentists because my previous one wasn't fulfilling my needs as a patient. I can honestly say my visits here have been great. Teeth ccleaning was super fast and all electrical so no hurting of the gums was done. I also has a fill-in and my tooth looks like new.
