We had such a great time here! The patio area is spacious and perfect for enjoying food outdoors, and the atmosphere with the live rock music made it even better. The parking lot entrance was a little confusing, but they have their own lot which made it convenient. I was skeptical of coming here, but I was pleasantly surprised. The atmosphere was perfect. HUGE bar, not enough tables tho. It was quite crowded. They also had a live band I dont remember their name bur they were a great cover band. Bartenders were difficult in beginning to get ahold of bc crowded. We ordered a ton of food. The shining star were those firecracker shrimp. I ordered them and the chicken avocado club which was really moist n juicy with tots. Friend ordered grilled chicken Ceasars and mozzarella sticks which were good. Other friends ordered fried mushrooms and fried pickles which were sooooo delish. Definitely worth a check in again. I was expecting greasy food but that was not the case. Nothing was greasy. There are a few more things I would love to try. Everything was spot on. They do have an outdoor patio which is huge. MAINBROOK TAVERN is located in the heart of Englishtown right next to the flea market. It seems to me that is in the middle of nowhere in Manalapan Township. It feels like you're in another state when you arrive at the tavern. My first impression was that it is a dive bar and later during the evening my opinion changed somewhat. The main bar area seems to be new, recently built having observed the structure closely. I didn't ask the staff when this was rebuilt. There is a huge outdoor patio area which can accommodate over 50 people in these pandemic times. The menu is very basic and is definitely snack type fare. Prices are definitely cheaper than what I'm used to, but commensurate with the area. One really feels out of state here. We came here mainly knowing the entertainment. Parking is sparse here. We didn't feel uncomfortable and enjoyed ourselves. read more

We have lived in Manalapan for three years and finally visited Mainbrook. I will say I was happily surprised how good the food and service was. My son and I sat at the bar. The service was excellent and the food very good. The Texas Pepper Wings had a very nice taste and the Melt and Cheese Steaks were excellent. She is welcoming, friendly, and makes a great cocktail. 2. The wings "charred" are delicious! Legit charred on the grill fresh. 3. Overall nice informal atmosphere/vibe. 4. Good prices Cons: 1. Restroom shared with flea market shoppers. So at peak flea market hours it can be a bit crowded and the more traffic the more mess if you get my drift 2. Sadly they close early on Sundays. 3. General bartender comment - not all bartenders are as diligent as Melissa. I personally find they are not as attentive and service isn't as good...just my opinion. If you are in the area and looking for a quick simple bite to eat (nothing fancy) and a cocktail give this place a try and let Melissa take care of you. Loved the community feel of the place. The inside bar is huge with lots of room to socialize. At each end of the bar are massive screens for watching sports. The food is great and reasonably priced.
