My family and I had the best time here. We had a reservation for 15 and the table was ready when we were there. There were 2 servers for our table and they did a perfect job. The food was delicious! We got many things but my highlights were the Brussel sprouts and hack chicken salad. It's one of their most popular dishes and I can see why. The restaurant was easy to find and had a nice atmosphere inside. Parking is limited but wasn't hard at 7:30pm. Eddie, the owner, also came to our table and checked on us which was so sweet. Will definitely be coming back!!

I stopped by for lunch with a colleague who recommended this place and she was right. It doesn't look like much from the outside, but inside it's rather cozy and charming. I ordered the BLT paired with a glass of white wine. Service was great as the one of the staff members came by to check on us. Everything was delicious! I can see why this is a local favorite. Solid experience all around.

Service was great. Travis was great and very attentive! We tried a bunch of different items and they were all amazing. I am picky and got a plain burger with cheese and fries. The fries were cooked perfectly. Seasoned so well. Burger was great. Also pictured chocolate mousse dessert, lamb, mixed grill (kabobs and quail). Also had the crab cakes (not pictured) and they were great as well. (So I heard from the folks that ate them :))

A MUST!!! My good friend and I ate here on a Friday night and split the bread, brussels sprouts, fries, Caesar salad, shrimp scampi, and a bottle of amazing wine. The food was absolutely incredible, and the service was friendly and classic Austin. The ambience was inviting and relaxing, perfect to welcome the weekend. I will absolutely be coming back!!!

I hadn't been to this restaurant in many years and I'm glad they could take me and my son in last minute, before we went to see Les Mis at Bass Concert Hall for my birthday, because the restaurant we had planned to go to was closed this past Tuesday. We were seated quickly because we were eating early. We shared a salmon dish, the venison pizza, and some broccoli. I forgot to tell them to take off the bell peppers from the pizza as I thought they meant chili peppers. They offered to remake it but because we were crunched for time, I told our waitress it was fine and my son would eat most of it anyway. I enjoyed a nice glass of wine and when my son asked if they offered a birthday desert she brought out a coconut cake which was yummy! I'm glad we were able to eat there as part of a good birthday memory with my son.

We had reservations for Valentine's Day and really enjoyed ourselves at this jewel of a neighborhood bistro. It's cozy inside, with definite mood lighting, and unobtrusive speakers playing romantic music. The Bibb lettuce salad was intriguing with citrus fruit and a just-right tangy dressing. I found the piccata sauce delicious with the salmon, which was tender but firm. My partner had the prime rib, which he found too rare for his taste. But rather than embarrass him, the restaurant quickly grilled both sides and, voila, made him very happy. The other great find here was a gluten-free chocolate torte, a rare treat!

Nestled in central Austin is this hidden gem. If you don't know it's there, you can miss it. I was greeted quickly and warmly when I entered. I ordered the salmon dish with the fingerling potatoes and roasted broccoli. The salmon had a nice hint of lemon flavor to it. The potatoes were perfectly seasoned and the broccoli was roasted to perfection. My boyfriend is super picky but he was happy with his food too. He ordered a marg pizza with a side of Brussels sprouts. We were seated in the back of the restaurant and it was pretty quiet. There were only a few occupied tables around us. Service was great. Our waitress was very attentive without being over the top. Overall, I'd visit here again!

Crispy brussel sprouts and quinoa arugula salad.

The staff are friendly, the food is amazing. I had the quinoa arugula salad and the crispy brussels sprouts. Huge amount of food for the little amount of money you have to pay. I will definitely be back on my next trip to Austin.

They printed special menus without pricing because I wanted my parents to order whatever they wanted and not worry about it since I was treating them (they feel bad when I spend money on them). They had the special menus ready and an anniversary card already set on the table. They have a selection of NA drinks and also gave us a commemorative NA drink on the house since I told them before we arrived that no one drinks. These small touches made an excellent time a magical time. No wonder they are a Michelin starred restaurant! Everyone said happy anniversary to them and it was such a nice touch. We did the tasting menu and Im so glad we did! The highlights were: 1. Short rib 2. Caviar and cornbread 3. Scallop 4. Halibut Notable mentions: 1. Tuna 2. Oysters Everything else was delicious even if it's not mentioned above. The dishes played on many different senses and were very well planned, not only in execution but the order in which they were served. I think everyone should do the tasting menu at least once. The restaurant was filled but the noise level wasn't loud. They have valet parking on Friday and Saturday, which was very convenient.

By the time I had made the reservation everyone else seemed to had no availability but they had a couple left so we came here. By the time we had made reservations, only bar seating was available, which I felt we were lucky to even get since other steakhouses and fancy restaurants were completely full. We ended up having to park a couple blocks away across the river to the west but it was free street parking and the restaurant is located next to a bridge crosses that river so it was actually convenient. Once seated at the bar, we were well taken care of and not rushed even though our reservations were technically at their listed closing time. We just ordered a cocktail, a few side dishes and a steak to share. Everything was really tasty and well presented. The steak was pretty good, but I don't feel it was the best in Austin by any means. Overall this is a very nice date night experience, even if you end up just sitting at the bar area like we did.

I made a reservation on Open Table for 7:15. We came in the "wrong door" (on Trinity St. I believe) and had to find our way to the host/hostess stand. Not too bad. I think you're supposed to enter on E Cesar Chavez St. They had our reservation and we were seated promptly. We ordered the Rotisserie Chicken to share (we are an older couple). Delicious! And it was a nice big (1/2) chicken! It came with a generous serving of broccolini. It came with mashed potatoes (actually, puréed potatoes), too. They were good, though I prefer not-perfectly-mashed (let alone puréed) potatoes and the serving was not quite as generous). Don't get me wrong--we would order this again. The service was good, definitely acceptable by modern standards for the price range, but not outstanding. The ambiance was that of a modern, slightly upscale hotel restaurant. Nothing really fancy. But the wait staff was dressed nicely and so were the other patrons. All in all, a good experience! Oh, the most puzzling thing was that at the end the waiter asked me if we wanted to put the tab on a card or on the room tab. I was confused for a moment until I realized that we were in a hotel (something in the Marriott family). I put it on my credit card, of course. We also got the mushrooms side which was really yummy!

The standout was the beignet tray. The mini beignets came topped with powdered sugar and were served with a coffee glaze for dipping. They were small, warm, and delicious, with crispy edges and soft centers. This was easily the highlight of the meal and the dish I would come back for. To balance out the sweetness, I also ordered an egg-and-cheese taco on a corn tortilla with salsa. It was simple, but it did the job. My boyfriend ordered avocado toast and an iced coffee, and everything fit the casual brunch vibe. The atmosphere was chill, and parking validation was a plus. One thing to know before going is that the seating process is a little unusual: you order at the front first, then find a table. We arrived before the line grew and had no issue getting seated, but I could see this being stressful if the restaurant is crowded and tables are limited. Overall, Dish Society is a solid brunch spot on SoCo with a relaxed feel!

The restaurant itself is decorated so nice, it's picture perfect. I also really appreciate a restaurant committed to having options that are seed oil free, from local farms and also having options without refined sugar. Miranda was our server and she was so kind and attentive. She made sure we had a great experience and was a pleasure to talk to. To eat I ordered the classic breakfast and to drink I had the vanilla maca. I didn't love the vanilla maca, and I only blame myself for that. I have never had maca so I didn't know what to expect but the drink basically tasted like a chocolate protein shake. Which isn't bad but I wanted like more of a latte so that was on me. My meal however? Loved it. Everything was so flavorful and hit the spot exactly with what I wanted. I also really appreciate a salad with breakfast since this helps lower your glucose spike and so when a restaurant offers this I know they know true wellness!!! My girlfriends both ordered the avocado toast and loved it. One ordered the cherry vanilla limeade and enjoyed it as well, but as an avid cherry hater I didn't try it...but if you like cherry she recommends it! This 6-year-old, who eats bread on the daily, took one bite and wouldn't eat any more. We even get gluten-free bread regularly, and he eats it. The bread was fine, but don't expect flavor. By some miracle, they even made butter tasteless. I considered calling the Vatican to see if this was some holy, divine miracle, but my wife suggested maybe the main course would be better. We settled on the pesto pasta with chicken added for an additional fee. The pasta was good. Great texture, good flavor, and the combination of ingredients was good, but it's nothing original. It's pesto pasta. It's a classic. I appreciate the pomegranate seeds on the guacamole because it's original, it's clever, and it's different. We also ordered a special soda drink for our son, and it had a small black bug on top. I had them take it back and replace it. I kind of expected a "Listen, we apologize for the bug. Here's half off dinner," or something, but nothing. Service was fine, and it's a decent atmosphere. We had absolutely no complaints regarding our dining experience. Caroline is affiliated with the Marriott Element and Aloft hotels and that, I believe, where the affiliation ends. I try to avoid hotel eateries but I've had great dining experiences at hotels like the JW Marriott in Austin. We, four, stopped by on a Sunday AM for breakfast and we had a great time.
