Went here a month ago after picking up some wine. It is a pricey experience, but fun. Our server was outstanding! Food and drinks were good.

Debbie was our guide and Kurt was our driver. When you get to the winery, Debbie provides you with a drink card. You get six taste tests (1/3rd of a glass) that is checked off by the wine stewards. The whole adventure takes about 4 hours. Overall, it was fun and a great opportunity to try different wines and see the beautiful wineries in temecula. Now, why the 4 star rating?? ~The bus featured a great sound system where we could choose songs from an ipad. But it was unbelievably warm inside. It was a hot day and the AC seemed to not be working, leaving most of us sticky. We were told to open one window at the front and at the end of the bus to let the air flow. After the first stop, most people just opened all the windows to get a breeze. One guy was close to just taking off his shirt. ~We felt that one of our stops at mount Palomar winery was rushed. Our package did include a charcuterie. And we ordered some other appetizers right when we arrived. We ended up having to cancel them since it still wasnt done and we were heading out. This also led to rushing to get the remaining sample tastes. A reciept check showed it was a 30 min visit. ~My other minor disappointment was that our guide stated they could only take photos through their phone and not our own. But Debbie's photos often came out with this unfocused glare. Rather than something crispy clear. So we took group selfies instead. You might want to take a selfie stick.

From the moment we walked into Julie's Dream over a year ago, we knew that this vineyard was special. We were referred here from more than one winery multiple times, and we finally decided to go. We were warmly greated and shown to a spot at their beautiful counter. Time was taken to find out each of our wine preferences. My mom loves her whites, while I love my reds and whites both. The staff worked with us to find the wines that best fit each of our pallets. My mom loved their Chardonnay and Reisling, while I loved their Reisling, Chardonnay and Cab Franc, plus many others. We walked away wine members in September of 2025. Angie was absolutely amazing!!! She heads the wine club, and was incredibly understanding when it came to the fact that we live in a "hot state" and shipping is difficult during the bulk of the year. My mom and I make trips twice a year to Temecula and try and pick up all of membership shipments during those trips. Angie has been more than accommodating about this. They recently rolled out their new red and white sangria, which took up a lot of their storage floor space. But Angie made surr to keep or wines stored for us. I have had other wineries push for shipping despite being less than optimal temperature and weather. But Angle will not compromise on the quality of their wines. Every week a news letter gets published showing what food and entertainment will be happening. And, if anything changes, you can could on Angie and her crew keeping you posted. When we walk in to Julie's Dream, we feel like we are home and part of the family. If you haven't been to this amazing Vineyard, give it a shot. Trust me, you won't be disappointed!

The grounds and overall atmosphere are definitely one of its strongest qualities. That said, when it comes to the service and the wine itself, there are definitely better options in Temecula. The pours were surprisingly small -- well under what you would expect -- and the service felt impersonal. Unfortunately, the experience lacked the warmth and attentiveness that make a wine tasting feel enjoyable and memorable. As for the wine, we found it not very palatable, especially in comparison to Bolero next door, which offered a much more enjoyable overall experience. While Callaway has the advantage of a gorgeous view, the quality of the wine and the hospitality simply did not measure up for us. Overall, it's a lovely place to visit for the scenery, but if your priority is excellent wine and welcoming service, there are stronger choices nearby.

Our driver to San Diego, Greg, was fantastic--our group really appreciated him. He drove carefully through the hilly wine country roads and even made a bathroom stop before we hit the highway. He also let us connect our phones to the sound system so we could play our own music, which was a fun touch. Our return experience, however, was less positive. Unfortunately, I didn't catch the woman's name, but it felt like it may have been her first day. She mentioned more than once that she had no experience driving that type of van and even said something about the brakes not being in great condition. At one point, she almost hit another car on the highway and was driving way too fast through the hills. The trip overall had some great moments, especially thanks to Greg, but the return journey raised some serious concerns.

From the very beginning the person that helped us with our reservation, was helpful, supportive, and flexible, they even picked us up at our winery! Which obviously was a huge plus including dropping us off after the tour! But I have to tell you, our tour guide Liz made the day of wine tasting at 3 different wineries fun, exciting and informative. She was high energy from the minute we stepped on the tour van! (Killer playlist!) And her recommendations for the different wines at each winery were spot on! She has connections at all the wineries too, and we even got an upgrade for a tractor tour that was not part of our original tour at one of the wineries. We toured the vineyards while tasting our wines, and even went to see how the wine was made and fermented. Like I said, I have never done a guided tour but we could not have been more pleased. Highly recommend taking a tour with Sidecar tours!!…read more My husband had been looking at this activity for a long time. He had found it through Groupon. Riding a sidecar in the middle of Temecula while being dropped off at several wineries without having to drive sounded like a unique and fun activity. By the time he was able to purchase it, only the cocktail tour was available. While we usually prefer cocktails, we found out after the fact that those start at 4:00pm and only Mon-Thurs. It didn't sound too fun to drive an hour away on a weekday in traffic to begin and come home late, but we wanted to check it out. A few days before our event was going to take place, the business called me to inform me that they are no longer doing cocktail tours at this time and were trying to get it off Groupon until the businesses working with them were more cooperative with pricing. While I was not thrilled about the last minute change, I was relieved because a big storm was coming the next day (never fails) and it would have been canceled anyway. I also didn't know until after that you mainly ride through Old Town and would not get nearly the amount of sidecar riding. However, they offered to change it to the wine tour and were able to squeeze us in three days later on the weekend so it worked out perfectly. Weather was on our side this time. It was bright and sunny. Bryan, our tour guide and driver texted me the morning of and gave us instructions on where to meet, and the waiver to sign, and that he would also be our professional photographer this day. It turns out Bryan was juggling three parties that day and was constantly on the go moving each party to the next stop. He introduced himself and explained what we would be doing and which wineries we would be visiting. He took a few pictures in the beginning and his phone may as well have been a professional camera! We first started with a fun ride throughout parts of Temecula and through a vineyard (literally!) as well. We got on one main road and went very fast! He gave us a lot of facts about Temecula and the vineyards as we rode. Our first stop was at Chapin winery where we were provided with six tastings of our choosing. I loved every selection! The pizza they made there smelled amazing, but we were full from breakfast (another time for sure!) Bryan explained that if we did want to eat pizza, please order it right away so it had time to cook and be eaten before he came back. He left us to be to relax and enjoy our wine while he took the previous group he had dropped off to the second winery. He texted me when he was on his way back to us and so we could get ready and whatnot. Once he arrived, we hopped back into the sidecar and got an even longer tour of the city and areas and had a longer time to enjoy the next sidecar ride. We stopped by some of the nearby animals such as llamas and he told us facts about the trees in their yard and about them, followed by some facts of the mountains and nearby homes and stopped for those views. Next we were brought to Bella Vista winery and were provided a full bottle of wine! We sat and relaxed and had some more wine while enjoying the views. The party before us was brought back to the starting point. Bryan took some more pictures and we brought the remaining wine back with us. It ended up being a perfect, sunny, great weather day and the business was great the whole time. Bryan was an amazing tour guide and photographer and we highly recommend him. A number of our friends are already considering trying this tour out after hearing about it and seeing the pictures.
