Fried chicken ramen + $2 egg
    B. L.

I would advise caution before choosing this restaurant. This was my second attempt to give the place another chance. During my first visit, a $100 family order arrived without my entire meal. When I called, I was assured that I would receive a 20% discount on my next order and that my name would be added to their records. Six weeks later, when I returned, I was informed that the list had been deleted. Only after a lengthy discussion was the promised discount honored. Unfortunately, this visit was disappointing as well. The ramen carried additional charges for proteins and eggs, and the fried chicken ramen arrived with the chicken served separately. The chicken had an unexpectedly sweet flavor, the broth lacked depth, and the egg was overcooked. Considering the missing meal, the confusion surrounding the promised discount, and the overall underwhelming food quality, I will not be returning for a third visit.

This is my second visit to 369 Ramen and Chinese Cuisine. The restaurant is casual and comfortable The staff is awesome, friendly and very helpful. Their lunch specials are reasonably priced with large portions. I've had their poke bowls and items off of their menu. Haven't had a bad dish yet. Be advised, starting March 23rd they will be opening at 11:00 am instead of 10:30 am. I ordered the Chicken with vegetables. The dish was fresh and full of flavor. Our party also ordered the Beef with vegetables. The beef was tender and the veggies cooked perfectly. I'm going to order that dish on my next visit. If you're in Poway, check this place out. It's worth a visit.

We came to San Diego on a trip and found this restaurant online. At first, I was just cautiously optimistic about this Asian fusion place, because most restaurants that mix styles like this don't turn out well. To my surprise, it blew us away. The Chinese dishes are exceptionally authentic, and being Asian, my parents loved them. My spouse and I are big fans of ramen, and it was spot-on. Our kid loves poke, and after trying a bite myself, I can honestly say it's just as good as any dedicated poke spot.

I'm not sure why this place has such a low rating. Their ramen is so delicious and the broth is always so rich. The staff is always really nice and attentive. I have never tried any of their Chinese food but all of the Ramen and Japanese appetizers have always been amazing. I would give this place a try if you're in the area to form an opinion for yourselves. My favorite dish so far has been their tonkotsu ramen.

Really great deal and food for the money massive poke bowls are great Chinese food and lunch specials.

I ordered the Chashu ramen with a spicy scale of 1 which should be minimal spice and it was terribly spicy, I couldn't even eat it. I know everyone's tolerability for spice varies but a spice level of 1 should be barely noticed... you can see from the photo how red it is because it is full of spice. This unfortunately soured my dining experience here.

Today my friend and I stopped by to try the ramen. In the end, I ordered miso soup, which I hadn't had in a long time. What they brought me was definitely not miso soup -- it was basically egg yolk in water. Miso soup is not supposed to look like that. I also ordered fried rice. The portions were big, but it wasn't as tasty as usual

We got the garlic edamame, which was good, but the flavor was on the outside. We were expecting it to be more marinated. The chicken with broccoli was the same. It was good but not very flavorful. It was a good portion, however. The staff was friendly and helpful and checked in regularly but not too much.

369 Ramen & Chinese Food has been on my Yelp Want To Go list for several years, so I was one happy foodie when my Girlfriend For Life (GFL) suggested that we eat somewhere after we go school shopping for our kid at the Poway Wal Mart. Before we did our errand, I asked what the wifey wanted to eat and she said ramen. I told her I'd find a ramen restaurant close to Wal Mart and 369 Ramen immediately popped up. Blessed that we dined here for the first time because 369 Ramen is all about value for your money, it has a variety of food choices to choose from, the food we grubbed on was satisfyingly delicious, and our server Zoren provided outstanding customer service. 369 is located in the middle of Poway specifically on the corner of Pomerado and Poway Road. If you're familiar with the now shuttered Joanne's Fabrics, Smart & Final, and Dollar Tree shopping Center, then you'll easily find 369. The restaurant is to the left of Dollar Tree as you're facing the discount retailer, it's across the street from North Park Produce, CVS, and Chase Bank. There is plenty of parking in this shopping center with parking directly in front of 369. From the outside, the restaurant looks small, but as you enter, it's surprisingly spacious. It's table side service with approximately ten tables and chair settings. There's a large painted mural on one wall depicting a sakura tree aka a cherry blossom. The flooring is distressed laminate, there are cylindrical and floral light fixtures, and one television that was turned off. Our server Zoren was friendly, attentive, answered our questions, and just seemed like a good dude. The large lettering above the restaurant storefront advertises it as 369 Ramen, but not only do they serve ramen, they also serve fresh poke and Chinese food. Love the variety here because if you're not in the mood for ramen, you can choose from different types of cuisines. My Pahtner ordered the Garlic Bomb Ramen, which comes with green onion, bamboo, chashu, deep fried onion, deep fried garlic, fresh garlic, and fishcake. For an extra charge, she added a flavored boiled egg. 369 is al about value for your money because my wife's ramen bowl was huge. I ate her leftovers and first sip of that garlicky broth was divine. Not feeling ramen, I ordered a Hawaiian Poke Bowl, but instead of a bowl, the poke came in a large, clear plastic container. I decided on the medium "bowl", which comes with 3 generous scoops of protein, a choice of your base, sides, sauce, and toppings. Feel free to copy my poke bowl where I chose white rice, cucumber, red onion, jalapeño, crab meat, avocado, spicy shrimp, tuna, spicy salmon, spicy House sauce, spicy mayo, fried onion, pickled radish, green onion, edamame, Furikake, and corn. This was a heaping amount of food and it was as delicious in my mouth as it looked. We had ordered their House Salt Pepper Chicken Wings as an appetizer, but the amount of food we got from our two entrees filled us up, so we took most of our appetizer home. Order their salt pepper chicken wings because they're tasty, they're big chicken wings, and I really enjoyed the crunchy coating. I primarily chose 369 Ramen because my Best Friend was craving ramen, I wanted to dine at a new restaurant, and it was close to the store we were doing errands at. We had such a great first time experience that we'll definitely return, so that our kiddos can experience the yummy food, the generous portions, and the quality customer service.

Have been by this place for years, but today was our first try. Upon entry they asked if our order was take out or eat in. For eat on they said sit down and brought us the menu. Bad new is no beer. My wife ordered Chachu ramen and I had the Kung Pao Shrimp. Both were delicious and we had leftovers to do. The ambiance is plain and simple. Plenty of parking in the center anchored by Dollar Tree and Smart and Final. Would return if hungry and in the area.

Came in for a quick poke bowl and ended up having a genuinely great experience thanks to Vince. He was friendly, relaxed, and clearly knew the menu, with spot-on recommendations and perfect timing when checking in. Even during a rush, he kept things moving while still making us feel taken care of. On top of all that, Vince had an easy confidence and was, let's just say, pleasant to look at--which didn't hurt the overall vibe at all. Fresh poke, great service, and a reason to come back. If Vince's working, you're in good hands.

Really good! The poke bowls were huge. Really generous portions. The chow foon was one of the best I've had in San Diego.

Do they add crystal msg/betsin/anjimoto to the food before, during, or after cooking?

Yes. My daughter and I like their shrimp fried rice and I could not recreate it at home so my husband asked them if they add MSG. They said yes. Not sure if they add it to all their food.

We ordered the Kimchi & Bacon Fried Rice, a Poke Salmon Bento Box, a Philadelphia Roll, and a Dragon Roll. The fried rice was fantastic, but the kimchi was easily my favorite part. It brought just the right amount of tang and spice that made every bite better. Now for my personal breakthrough... Growing up, I was never much of a seafood person. My partner has been slowly introducing me to sushi, and this dinner felt like another milestone. The Philadelphia Roll confirmed that I'm definitely a salmon fan, and the Dragon Roll introduced me to eel... which turns out I also really like. It's always fun when a meal changes your mind about something you've avoided for years. The atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming, and another huge bonus was simply finding a great restaurant in Poway that stays open later than most places. Sometimes that's exactly what you need after a long day. We definitely ordered more food than we could finish, but that's just another excuse to come back. Looking forward to trying even more of the menu next time.
