Unfortunately, my experience was disappointing. I was actually really excited to try this restaurant. From the moment I arrived, the staff felt unfriendly. After I sat down, loud radio commercials were playing the entire time I was there. The ads were distracting enough on their own, but when my food arrived, there was literally a commercial about Rolaids and heartburn playing while I was trying to eat. To make things worse, my order was incorrect. I ordered a regular sushi roll but was served a hand roll instead. Then, only a few minutes after I had sat down, I was told it was last call, which made the whole experience feel even more uncomfortable. I later learned the restaurant was closing at 9pm, even though Apple Maps listed the closing time as 9:30pm, which explains why everyone seemed so short. Ordered myself a Postmates delivery. Got a rainbow roll + 4 piece sushi w/ miso soup combo. With a coupon my order came out to be $30, pretty good deal. I added jalapeños to the roll for a buck extra. The miso was delicious, the rainbow was great. The only complaint I have is that the salmon was firm and chewy. I'm used to buttery and soft salmon nigiri and this felt like I was chewing on a tendon. Both the salmon on top of the rainbow and the nigiri had the same chewy and firm texture. Meh... been here a few times and it seems that I won't be coming any longer. It's located in a strip mall as 24 hr fitness and stater bros. Food has always been mediocre at its best and service is just not there. I mean, they're nice and all but I feel like it's extremely slow. My most recent visit, my husband ordered the salmon dinner for my son to eat and instead of it coming out on a plate, the server came by and dropped it off in a to-go container and said 'sorry, we're washing dishes'. I'm sorry but that is not okay. The rice stuck to the paper box making it very difficult to scoop the rice out. We've been regulars to Sushi Hana for years, frequenting this establishment 1-2x/month since the start of the pandemic. The food was good, price fair and we never had to wait long to be seated and served. We went recently since it was our daughter's favorite spot but something about our usual meal felt off. We're creatures of habit and usually order the same items every time we go. This time our food was plated differently, the dressing to the salad wasn't the same (and not as good), the sashimi platter didn't have the variety of fish we were used to (it seemed like they only used three different kinds of fish), and the kalbi plate was missing the orange slice that my daughter enjoyed. Turns out that there was a change in ownership. Despite the changes in the food, the service was OUTSTANDING. We were seated immediately, food came out lightning fast and our waiter was SUPER attentive and friendly. I don't think we'll be going back since our usual orders seem to have changed but if you're looking for a quick sushi bite with fantastic service this is the place to go to. read more

I tried Sushi Hana for the first time last night....I think the current Yelp rating is pretty accurate. It was OK. I ordered the El Fuego Roll, Lobster Roll, Spicy Albacore and the Number One Roll. It came out to about $47.00 with tax. Sushi can get pretty pricey, so I thought the cost was pretty low but based on the quality, its pretty reasonable. The Lobster Roll was my favorite of the 4. The Number One Roll is completely fried which I was not expecting....that was the least favorite of the 4 for me. They are located in a convenient shopping center with ample parking, right across from the car wash. It was super easy to find and to park. I was greeted by a very nice young lady upon entering and helped right away. It was about 7pm or so, which is prime dinner time but my 4 rolls were ready very quickly....less than 15 minutes, which was really awesome. They have a very extensive selection to choose from. I could definitely see myself coming back for a quick cheap meal and maybe I will have better luck with some other rolls. Overall I give 3 stars but do want to note that the service was great and the restaurant was very clean and inviting. read more
