Ordered delivery through door dash. Everything was excellent. Down to following directions and preparing it exactly how I like. Cut to perfection. Nigiri was fresh and the roll was well balanced. Thank you! Would def order again.

Rainbow roll+ sushi 4pc with miso
    Olivia S.

Ordered myself a Postmates delivery. Got a rainbow roll + 4 piece sushi w/ miso soup combo. With a coupon my order came out to be $30, pretty good deal. I added jalapeños to the roll for a buck extra. The miso was delicious, the rainbow was great. The only complaint I have is that the salmon was firm and chewy. I'm used to buttery and soft salmon nigiri and this felt like I was chewing on a tendon. Both the salmon on top of the rainbow and the nigiri had the same chewy and firm texture. Overall, good experience, salmon may have been a miss but this is a great lunch deal.

Lunch Bento Special until 3pm with Bulgogi Beef, miso soup, side salad, gyoza and choice of sushi, spicy tuna roll - $18
    Deanne L.

Recently enjoyed their Lunch Bento Special that's served until 3pm. I chose the Bulgogi Beef and Spicy Tuna roll while the miso soup, 2 pcs of gyoza, side salad, and rice were also included. For $18 I thought it was a good deal and I left satisfied. The bulgogi beef was cooked nicely and tasted great. Washed down everything with the warm miso soup. The sushi, gyoza, and salad, although not the best in the world, I thought it was acceptable for the lunch deal. Service was super nice and quick.

How did you make it?? Amazing taste !! I will be back soon. Very clean place

So so delicious really fresh sushi !! Strong recommend.. This Hana sushi owner always use fresh fish. Here is my favorite restaurant you should be here

Pretty decent sushi spot. Seems to be more for the locals that reside in this area. The tuna and salmon rolls were basic but delicious.

Pretty cozy Korean owned Japanese restaurant in Poway. Their fish quality is not bad for the price. Sushi, roll and nigiri selection is big. Service is friendly and attentive. Good choice when graving for rolls and sushi with a family style dining vibe.

Fish was not high quality. Some fish was fishy not buttery (tuna, albacore, halibut). The service was subpar. The bakes mussels are okay a lot of imitation krab, took a while to bake. Almost all of the specialty rolls have imitation krab.

My boyfriend's and I go to spot. Always clean, and the service is always amazing. All the workers are super attentive and the younger gentleman is super efficient. We always get the lemon roll and Hawaiian poke roll which have never failed us. Everything taste so fresh, and their wasabi really brings out the flavors in the roll!

I was running some errands in Carmel Mountain and was craving some sushi. Sushi Hana was the most affordable option and had a good variety of rolls. To my surprise the fish quality and size of the rolls were great. I usually order 2 rolls from sushi places and they don't usually fill me up but I could barely finish these rolls. I ordered on the phone and showed up within 15 minutes and it was already done. The service was fast, prices were good. It's also in a very busy plaza. I will definitely come back here again and dine in.

First time here, getting some to-go for one. Ordered the sushi/sashimi combo (comes with miso soup and salad), takoyaki, and hawaiian poke roll. Fresh fish, good sushi rice. The only thing really was that the miso soup did not have tofu in it at all. Takoyaki tastes ok. Price-reasonable Staff was extra friendly and efficient. Got my order in 20 minutes as quoted. The atmosphere is quiet and classy. Lots of tables. Plenty of parking. Would definitely try dining in next time.

I haven't left a review less than 3 stars in a while...but I gotta for this. Ordered from here last night and the sushi was definitely NOT FRESH. I tasted & smelled something off in the first few bites but ignored it. It was definitely either the snow crab or the avocado but I'm leaning towards the snow crab. I literally immediately had to go to the bathroom about 20 minutes after eating my sushi. My stomach was suffering! Sorry, TMI I know. Also as other reviews mentioned, they didn't even provide soy sauce packets when I ordered from DD. Luckily, I had some in our fridge. I ordered the crunch roll because it was the #1 most liked item from this restaurant on DD. They weren't kidding when they say "crunch" -- my sushi roll was buried under all the tempura flakes LOL. After feeling sick, I had to toss the rest of my food away (probably had like 4 pieces of the sushi roll left). What I ordered; - snow crab hand roll - shrimp tempura hand roll - crunch roll - edamame

We were promptly sat down upon arriving. Servers frequently checked on us and were all so nice. But what really stood out was their empathy. Like i said, my son knocked out. He's 5. He woke up as we were leaving. by the time we figured out what was really upsetting him (he wanted to stay there and eat and wanted the table we were on), we have gotten out of our table and obviously the table was then cleaned for the next guests. So basically my lil one cried, took him to the bathroom bec unfortunately we dont get everything we want just bec we cry. So we went into the bathroom for him to cry his feelings out and be ready to get out. Was he loud? Absolutely. Was i embarrassed? Yes. So was i ashamed to get out? Yes. But the staff, so empathetic. So nice about it. Told me i didnt need to apologize and that they get it. And that made me feel better as a mama who walked out of there carrying a 5 year old out their door. No judgy stares. Just smiles and understanding eyes. So july 18 2026, 4-5pm staff, you are all so amazing and we truly appreciate it. We hope to be back again when in the area.

Omakase: Omakase 20 pieces at $180. It's a great price, but in my head there had to be a catch to it. The starter and appetizer started out strong. Everything (fish) were all fresh, so when the nigiri course started that's when everything went south. The nigiri that chef served was really small and it's not your standard size nigiri .There's barley any shari ( sushi rice) and fish. If felt like I was sampling each nigiri. You can't really enjoy it when it's that small. The only highlight was the Uni from San Diego. That felt like a month full, other than that everything just felt like a tease. Don't let my photos fool you, it was all zoomed in. My wife and I had many omakase before and lelf happy and satisfied. There was no wait here but parking was a nightmare and there is almost no street parking right around the restaurant which is near the trolley tracks. I recalled coming here for a light dinner with my husband many years ago and thinking it was good, but expensive. I asked if they had Japanese soda for my daughter because it was not on the menu, and they said no, but after we came back from the bathroom the host had found one for us. They gave us chopstick helpers and were very nice. We ordered braised pork belly as an app and wagyu nigiri, albacore, hamachi, salmon belly, 2 salmons, and unagi. I think that was all. They nicely split the order so half had no wasabi for the kid. They were very considerate and I appreciated it. The food however took a while to come out. The braised pork belly was ok, but the fat had not rendered as well as at some other places so we ate around it. The flavor was good though. The hamachi was probably the best item-tender and tasty. The albacore was standard and a generous piece, but the salmon was a bit tough and my kid who usually inhales salmon tasted and then left the salmon. The wagyu had good flavor but was surprisingly chewy. For $26 I would expect it to melt in your mouth but it was not easy to bite through. The eel was very tender but had a weird taste, and was disappointing. I found myself chewing on a scale from maybe the salmon and was overall underwhelmed by the food. The bill for a soda and the sushi came to almost $150 after tax and tip for me and a 6-year old. Usually my husband and I and my kid go to places with better quality and pay the same price for the three of us. Will not be back.

We ordered the miso soup, spicy edamame, Den Miso pork belly skewers, tamarindo tuna ceviche, seabass serrano, crispy karikari tuna, and mochi ice cream for dessert. To drink, we had the Taiyo Margarita and the Clouds of Matcha cocktail. The spicy edamame was probably the only dish that fell a little short for us. It wasn't bad by any means, but we were hoping for more flavor. The absolute standout was the Den Miso pork belly skewers. My husband and I both took our first bite at the same time, looked at each other, and immediately said, "Oh!" We were genuinely surprised by how juicy, tender, and flavorful they were. There were only two skewers, but they packed so much flavor that we instantly wanted to order another plate. The tamarindo tuna ceviche was fresh, light, and refreshing. The taro chips added a nice crunch without overpowering the dish. The seabass serrano was enjoyable, though it wasn't a stand out for us. The crispy karikari tuna (spicy tuna over crispy rice) is one of my go-to orders whenever I visit a sushi restaurant, and this version was up to par. The only component I wasn't crazy about was the long, thin slice of avocado on top--I personally could have done without it, though my husband actually liked it, so that's just a matter of preference.
