Surprise Dinner from my Wife @websterbuffa88, it was a Homemade Chicken Pie from @straccos_subs_and_more in Plymouth, it was delicious had tons of Veggies and Chicken in it plus Gravy to top it off, also I had some Mashed Potatoes with Gravy on it, plus had a great Salad with lots of Veggies, and Peas and Corn to go with it, I give that Homemade Chicken Pie a 9 out 10, we have tons of Leftovers, it that big of a Chicken Pie, we also got a Homemade Lobster Tail too, that was delicious, next time we go we need to try the Subs, heard lots of good things about them from everyone

Holy Moly......want a great sub, then RUN to this teeny tiny place. We had heard about it and made a plan to stop by today. They do mention it's not an "eat inside" place, it is a teeny tiny place and they only allow 2 people in at a time. I ordered the Pilgrim (a.k.a. a gobbler) and I asked is it a hot sandwich and she said yes. I really get annoyed when I order a gobbler and it's cold. Who wants to eat cold stuffing. NOT here, it was warm and delicious. My other half ordered a steak and cheese and yowza, was that delicious too. Seeing the chocolate covered lobster tale I said, yes, I'll take one of those too. When we walked in I told her we had never been there before and she said don't rush. Isn't that nice to hear, especially in 2020. I have been rushed out of restaurants I've spent over $100 in, and at Straccos where only 2 people can be in there the woman behind the counter said no rush. You order and you can wait outside or in your car for your sandwiches. I went back inside and asked if I could take some photos for Yelp which she said sure so the photos I took are updated as of 2020. Sorry to say I did not take a photo of the sandwiches because I could not wait to eat it and in all honesty, I dont think a photo would have done it justice. Where to eat your delicious sandwiches - there is a parking lot that overlooks the water just a few hundred feet away from the establishment. Another patron who had gotten a sub went there as well. Next time we might try some of their take home food. This place is a great FIND!

First timer here also. Take out spot with a few tables outside. Food was great and the customer service was super helpful and friendly. As far as I can tell - best sandwich shop in the area. Will definitely be back to try their other menu options.

    Steak and cheese, excellent

We arrived around 11:30 and found parking in the little lot, which has 3 or 4 spots. After going inside, our order was taken right away by a very friendly employee. The steak and cheese and the Pilgrim (turkey, stuffing, cranberry sauce, mayo) were excellent. These subs are huge so the next time we will probably share one. The meat in both is of high quality and generous in portions. After we ordered, we were instructed to wait outside, where there is a sliding glass window which our sandwiches would be handed to us when ready. It was maybe 10 minutes when our subs were ready. They have 3 tables in the front, so we opted to sit there and eat. It was such a pleasant experience and Stracco's has a nice flow and process from order to delivery. It is small inside and it is great they are clear on where to pick up your sandwich so there is not a crowd inside waiting for their food. I was tempted to try one of their famous lobster claw desserts but after a long weekend of eating too much and little exercise, I decided to put this on my "must try" list for a future visit. Which there will be one as the subs were outstanding.

Good cannolis. Italian sub was good. I went again and it was soggy. So sometimes good sometimes not. I have not gone back since.

She asked who ordered the Grey Goose martini.. I said that it was me and she politely apologized and said they ran out of Grey Goose.. ugh I thought how can that be? I guess it can happen but it shouldn't... not to a restaurant like Cafe Strega. Now for our meals.. I ordered the roll stuffed Veal and he ordered the lobster ravioli. Our server was Sophia and she was very nice but did not know what the vegetables were offered that night and also when I asked what the seafood stuffed quahog was stuffed either.. she began to tell me and said.. I BELIEVE IT IS CHEESE AND AAH!! I asked her to stop and please go into the kitchen and find out exactly what the stuffing was. I also asked what the veg was for the night and got the same.. I THINK IT IS... ugh. Frustrating. She was a sweet girl but the powers that be should be sure their servers know these simple but important things before tending to customers. The meals were ok.. we have come to rating our meals when dining out and we both gave them a 7.

The atmosphere was 5*, but that's all that was…read more Our waiter was very pleasant, but based on his performance, he had less than two weeks experience as a waiter, and had received almost no training. The list of mistakes could go on for many paragraphs, so I'll concentrate on the food. The wine list had a "Zinfandel Blend". I asked what was in the blend. According to our waiter, no one who worked there could answer this question. If you charge $70 for a bottle of wine, you could at least know something about it. I started with a Caesar Salad with "Served with our homemade Caesar dressing.". It must have been homemade because supermarket dressing is much better. The dressing was thin and tasteless. True Caesar dressing has anchovies. Many restaurants will add some anchovy paste instead of real anchovies to at least provide some anchovy flavor. This dressing had nothing. There was some small amount of cheese, but nowhere enough. If you are wanting anything more than some romaine lettuce with tasteless white dressing, avoid this menu item. I'll give it 2*s only because the romaine was fresh. When we noticed other tables with bread when we had none, we asked for some. After the waiter delivered bread to another table who arrived after us, we finally got ours. The bread was good. For my main coarse, I had the Bracioletina di Vitello. The consistency was good, but it had almost no taste. I give it 3*s. Three of us ordered the same veal dish. Two of us got potatoes with our dish, my wife did not. For desert, I had the Key Lime Pie. I have spent a great deal of time in the Florida Keys and I know what good Key Lime Pie tastes like. Again, good consistency, but almost no taste. There was so little lime flavor, you could hardly tell it was supposed to be a Key Lime Pie. I give it 2*s for not tasting bad. Even after we had finished our desert and were leaving the table, there were empty main course dishes in the table including a large bowl of mussel shells. The bill for four people (1 bottle of wine, 4 apps, 4 mains, 2 desserts) came to $292 before tax and tip. At half the price, I could have been more forgiving with my review. I will not go back.

About 25 tables, but not tightly packed. Felt like an Italian restaurant where you might just share with the table nearest you. I could order nearly anything on the menu. Awesome and terrible with a time crunch! We started with the focaccia bread, which was delicious. We saved some and I'm eating it now. Then it was Splitsville: I mean we split a salad, bolognese and chicken parm. Garden/House Salad was described as fresh, what the kitchen could get, flavorful and colorful. It was all those things and didn't disappoint. Chicken parm was not fried. Was Bell & Evans chicken breast not beat to hell. Was plump, juicy and flavorful. Maybe the best I've ever had. Bolognese was equally good. I'm glad we split everything so we could each try a number of different options. We were out on time and never felt rushed if you can believe it.
