I really liked Jolly Bean Cafe! My chocolate chip muffin was grilled and really good, and I also got avocado toast. The avocado toast was a little bland for me, but that's just my personal opinion. I really love the living room-style space with the couches and fan. There's also a really cool chess game, but unfortunately it's missing some pieces. The ABSOULTE BEST coffee shop/cafe in Plymouth. The menu can look overwhelming at first glance but I promise you can't chose wrong. If you need some suggestions I would recommend the early bird on an Asiago bagel, the honey chicken sandwich, or the Hippie burrito. Don't forget to try a toasted French toast muffin either They frequently switch out their coffee flavors and have creative specialty drinks to enjoy. They are super friendly and go out of their way to help you find something on the menu you like-- definitely worthy of a tip. They have so many options and such a colorful menu. I dropped by on a whim but WOW. I left JOLLY. The honey mustard grilled chicken salad was the bomb! The lettuce was fresh and crunchy. The grilled chicken was juicy and plentiful. Just the right amount of red onions. The bacon was INCREDIBLE; fried just right. A ton of smashed avocado too! I also ordered the iced black tea which is premade but one of the best premade black teas I've had. It was fragrant and not the cheap kind (Lipton). Good food - and not a far drive from downtown Plymouth. The menu is relatively simple, with breakfast sandwiches, wraps, and salads, as well as a smattering of desserts, chips, and drinks, but definitely something here for everyone. The prices are also super reasonable for the portions. I went with the King salad, with grilled chicken, bacon, cucumber, tomatoes. I suppose they were out of green pepper that day and I also asked them to hold the red onion, but it was still a sizable, filling amount. The chicken was well-cooked (maybe a little too tender and soft, if I'm nit-picking) but the Asian sesame dressing was a goopy, sugary mess. Ended up just using hot sauce for an extra kick. My husband's breakfast burrito was delicious, with generous chunks of perfectly ripe avocado. The lady behind the counter was super nice (and extremely apologetic when she realized she forgot the cappuccino we ordered). The cafe runs a bustling business with lots of orders in the morning and during lunchtime, so call ahead if you don't want to wait. read more

I went here a little bit ago and did not enjoy my time there. It was first and last time going. I waited for one of the staff members to finally take my order for about 5 minutes after walking in. The latte I got was too expensive for the taste of milk and "chemically" tasting syrup. The staff members were impersonal and rude. They close at 3 and one of them started vacuuming loudly around the entire place including under my table at around 2:23 pm. Why are you vacuuming while people are still in your cafe? They asked me and my friend to leave cause they were closed at 2:53 pm when we had only been there a few minutes and said it yet another time about 4 minutes later that they were closed so if we could leave. They were just rude and seemed judgmental that we were there even when they weren't technically closed for the day yet. Anyway, thought it was going to be a cozy cafe but the mediocre muffin and gross coffee along with rude staff members made it a terrible experience! read more

I was at a health food store a few doors away and was craving an iced coffee and I saw this cute place. They had multiple ables outside with music playing so I went in to get my iced coffee and then I saw it, oh, I saw it, a big delicious looking hostess cupcake. Homemade of course!! Yes I bought it. Hey a girls gotta treat herself once in a while. The place itself was clean and just so cute inside. i am not sure what else they offer as I was focused on coffee and the cupcake. They closed in 53 minutes when I arrived and there were still people in there ordering food and there were people sitting outside at their tables enjoying the beautiful day. I have to be honest about one thing. The coffee didn't do it for me BUT I am a Starbucks girl so it's hard to like any other coffee when you are a Starbucks person. I felt it was on the weaker side but hey I always see hundreds of people in line at other coffee establishments. Maybe they offer a darker bold coffee but I gave it to my better half so it didn't go to waste. I will definitely go back to see what else they have to offer as it's a small establishment and well kept up and who doesn't want to support a small business. I know I do. Family owned, friend run vibes with good coffee and a fun to order, better to eat Dirty Bagel sandwich: a bacon and egg with cucumber and jalapeño cream cheese in a jalapeño bagel. No real monstrous heat, so tame tongues proceed with with gusto. It's tiny, adorable, kind in service and now open on Sundays. Don't let the industrial park placement get you think they're an immobile food truck. This place has the chops. Total hidden gem! read more

This cafe was fantastic! I have nothing but good things to say. I'm sad I don't live close by because I would probably be going here everyday! The baked goods looked amazing in the showcases, we tried the cinnamon roll ( YUM) along with the breakfast sandwich- the Early bird special and the lox sandwich ( onion bagel with lox, cream cheese, capers, tomato, onion). We pulled in our way to Gloucester. Plenty of parking in the huge industrial park parking lot next door. Plenty of green space to walk the dog and turn the rig around. We had the breakfast salad - it was excellent! The onions and mushrooms we're fully sauteed, almost caramelized, and the fresh spinach was very lightly cooked with some raw leaves. The eggs were fully cooked with no loose yolk. The combined flavor - with the balsamic dressing - was lovely. This is a nice, clean and bright counter-service cafe - usual for an industrial park establishment. The freshly baked muffins, cookies and croissant looked excellent - large and crusty. RVers will appreciate this little hidden gem. Oh! And the coffee is delicious. We just had the house blend but - as the name suggests - there is a full coffee bar. read more

Coffee: get coffee here often before work and their ice coffees are great, they change up flavors daily so I try them all and I'm never disappointed. Food: wow wow wow, we got a bacon egg and cheese on an onion bagel the last time we visited and I'm not kidding when I say it was so good I don't even remember eating it. It was honestly gone in 5 seconds and I was so sad I wish I could have had another one. Superb food!!! Service: anyone working the counter is soooo friendly, helpful, and efficient. It is truly a hidden gem that will keep you coming back as a regular. Also, they are super covid safe always wearing masks and keeping everything clean. Unfortunately this place has gone downhill. I have avoided it as the iced coffee always had an "off" flavor. Was out running errands today and decided to give it another shot. Staff was discombobulated. There was no clear delineation between customers waiting for drinks vs those waiting to order and staff just stood there. The menu board was full of painter's tape, probably half the menu. I had a very complex order, a large black coffee. Apparently the urn did not have enough in it and the clerk added some from a plastic jug being cooled for iced coffee. Was ok and price of $3 wasn't bad. Will probably be a while before I return and wondering if, based on the blocked off menu items if they will be here much longer? read more

We stopped for breakfast after staying in Plymouth. We had our dog with us so our options were limited. We thought we our GPS had led us the wrong way because we ended up in an industrial park area. It was there. We ordered two ice coffees (one with almond milk), a bacon/egg/cheese on a plain bagel and a "Scenic Roots Wrap" on a spinach wrap. The woman at the counter was very friendly and accommodating. I realized a few minutes after my order that I forgot to ask for my egg to be over-easy. They honored my request even though my order was already in. Both my husband and I thought our breakfast sandwiches were delicious and the coffee was good too.
