Absolutely the best. I have been there twice, once for a 6S, once for a failed battery and once for a screen that stopped working. The screen was last week during COVID. He was in the shop but wasn't really open. I explained it's my work lifeline and he told me to come down. At first he asked whether I could leave it and pick it up tomorrow, but then realized I had tried to unlock it several times and the clock was ticking and the got worried the phone would lock and I would have to go to an Apple store--which you can't do right now. He dropped everything and began working on the phone immediately even though he really wanted to wrap up another phone and go home. My mac mini 2014 needed a hard drive replacement....I wanted a solid state drive installed. I asked around. Alan's price was good. I dropped it off right before they closed. Five stars for 3R Tek! I had the black screen of death on my Galaxy S-7 Edge, and all of the reboot options I could find on Google had failed to fix the problem. I chose 3R Tek to look at my Galaxy S-7 Edge, because they seemed to do a lot more than just screen repairs. It was a longer drive on a Friday afternoon, but it was really worth the extra effort. Due to the length of the drive, I had brought a magazine to read when I got there in case the problem could be fixed on the spot. Alan (the owner) invested about 45 minutes (with several trips to the counter to wait on customers) eliminating the screen or software as the problem. The problem was a component on the, for lack of a better term, "mother board." Alan told me that, while he had identified the failed system (internal power), he was not completely sure that he had identified the actual failed component in that system. He thought he knew, but he did not have the equipment to actually test it. He offered to order the component and install it but without a "guarantee" as to whether or not it would fix the problem. I asked what the cost to install the component and find out would be, and he said, "If I am wrong in diagnosing the problem, there is NO CHARGE!" I asked if he could return the component if it didn't work, and he said that once he soldered it into the board, it was no longer returnable. Alan, as an utterly reputable businessman (yup, I thought that was an oxymoron myself) was, as a matter of doing business, offering to accept all the risk of his diagnosis. So, this was Friday. He received the part on Sunday, installed it the same day, and his diagnosis was correct. The part fixed my smart phone. The cost was very reasonable. The device has been working perfectly ever since. Hurrah for Alan, plain as that! read more
