This place is a small little diner on Telegraph, barely noticeable but when you walk in it has a nice clean environment, it's not too busy and not loud at all. All of the staff is super friendly and quick to get you whatever it is you need. I ordered 2 Coney Dogs & Chili Cheese Fries, let me tell ya when I got these Coney Dogs I didn't realize they would be better than they looked, the hot dog was delicious, thick and fluffy, some places I have been the bun has been rock hard or stale this place didn't have that, they were perfect, the Coney dog didn't have that snap like most do but it still had that fresh dog taste and the chili cheese fries were delicious, the fries were freshly cooked, the cheese was not too thick. Everything was very delicious and very good, I would DEFINITELY come here again. read more

Stopping in this morning early afternoon to have some lunch ordered liver and onions. It was phenomenal. The liver was perfectly cooked. The mashed potatoes were great. They were fresh mashed potatoes and the green beans were good. The bean soup was extraordinarily good also. The staff here is very outgoing and a lovely place to eat. read more

I haven't been here in years because the food just wasn't up to par, but since there has been a few changes in owners over the past few years I thought why not? Well, now I know why not. I ordered Pork Chops & Eggs. I'm used to the flavorful, juicy, and tender chops that I get at Mykonos Coney on Van Born. These weren't close. They were a nice bone-in chop and not too thin like some, but they were not marinated, fried till dried out, tough and no seasoning. I did not finish my meal, and I'm a certified member of the Clean Plate Club, so that speaks volumes. My bill was $21.74, which I thought was kinda high when the price is $14.99, but so be it. This place has changed owners and it is now called 4-D's. It has been beautifully remodeled with all Quartz and ceramic tiles. It's super clean and well kept up. I've only eaten breakfast here 2 times but both times they have been Fantastic. Eggs cooked as requested and excellent American fries. Not greasy. Meats are good.. It's a five star local coney in my opinion. But it's still just a greasy spoon type coney joint. So I recommend their corn beef hash breakfast and their special coney. The only reason I gave this 2 stars is because my husband likes the burgers. We've only ordered out. A while back, I must have ordered the "flubber chicken fingers"! This last time I ordered "The Dorian's Skillet" described as "Ham, Bacon, Sausage, Onion, Green Peppers, and cheese with Eggs on top" (Served with 3 eggs, Hash Browns, Toast and Jelly).. Sounds good, right? We ordered that [Dorian] and asked for the 3 eggs to be scrambled and on top. I was hopeful after the Jumpin' Chicken incident... What did I receive?? Potatoes, mushy potatoes, a small portion of what was in the description and absolutely NO eggs. Wait, there MAY have been a small part of an egg that probably committed suicide by jumping into my order. My dogs ABSOLUTELY adored it, 2 days later when neither my husband nor I wanted to make our "embryo sacrifice" to add to the mashed potatoes and meat bits. A chicken worked VERY hard to give us those eggs, and we thought they deserved a better fate. No.. I'll never eat there again. This is place used to be named Dorians, but it recently changed its name to reflect the fact that the owner's sons have joined him in the business. If you liked Dorians, you will still like this place. It has great battered fried fish which has a nice crisp batter to it. It has great Greek inspired omelets which are really filling and flavorful. Oh, and the Gryo...the Gyro is really filling. The ingredients--onions, gyro meat, lettuce and tomatoes--are all fresh. And the tzitziki sauce was nice and thick with a strong cucumber and garlic flavor. read more

a few girlfriends and I went here. It was old school décor and I love that. The waitress was so awesome, sweet Albanian girl. The food was okay - but the service was what made me say I'd come back. I don't usually leave reviews but in this case I shall. I ordered corned beef hash (the server was nice enough to tell me what kind of eggs I wanted as I didn't know the name just the description of how I wanted them) unfortunately I was given the wrong meal but had not noticed until I arrived home. I called to inform them but was greeted by "thanks for calling Tony's please hold" then I was shoved into a hold and left there for literally over ten mins until I used another phone to call and the reception when I explained what happened in regards to being on hold wasn't done professionally nor with any compassion. The server was very willing to rectify the mistake on the meal but the process of getting to that was way more than a consumer should have to go through especially when there is an error on the other end. read more

They always say "you cant mess up eggs", well, Tony & Sons did !!! Overdone sunny side up eggs that were cold and the yoke was the size of a Robin bird egg. This is my favorite restaurant in Dearborn Heights they just remodeled the entire restaurant inside and outside and it looks amazing also they got new booths which are really comfortable and it looks amazing inside, the food cooked by Tony is very good and also the service there is very welcoming read more

First time going, had "Southern Mini", which was 1/2 order of biscuits and gravy, an egg, and 2 pieces of sausage or bacon. There were no other orders for biscuits and gravy besides a "side". Anyways, we got our food in a few minutes, the wait was not bad. What was bad, is the food. The gravy on the biscuits was sour and not very good at all. The egg was fine, but the toast tasted old and sweet...leaving a pretty disgusting after taste. I'd say the best part of my meal was the water. Not going back. read more
